Both of our children have had a fantastic experience at Tiddlywinks in all of the rooms and we would definitely recommend to other families. We will be very sad when our youngest leaves later this year.

Both our little ones have been at Tiddlywinks and we've had a wonderful experience throughout our time. Kind and caring staff, lovely food and a fab place, in general, with lovely inside and outside areas.

Tiddlywinks York is an amazing nursery with fantastic staff and a real focus on the children there. The food balance is great and the range of activities there is brilliant. A fantastic start for both our children.

Both of my children have attended Tiddlywinks since the age of 1. They have both thrived in their language and social skills. The staff are always friendly and they do a range of activities with the children that are linked to a learning theme. The menu is varied and healthy and the facilities are always clean. The children also get to use the outdoor spaces most days.

Tiddlywinks is a fab, friendly, caring and brilliant place for my little boy. He loves going to nursery and is now settling lovely into preschool, he’s only had a couple of visits but he’s done amazingly with the transition and loves to tell me all about it when he gets home. All the girls and guys are amazing I can’t fault them. The food is also brilliant! Thank you for everything you do for me and my little boy.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, my son has settled into full-time nursery life so well due to the exceptional staff who so clearly take pride in what they do and build such brilliant bonds with the children. They provide a safe, caring and creative environment that has allowed my son to develop in so many ways - his social, communication and motor skills have come on leaps and bounds.

We have been a part of the Tiddlywinks Nursery family for the last six years, having sent my son here from being a baby up until starting school and now my little girl, who is due to start school in September. The staff at Tiddlywinks are just amazing, they are all so friendly, caring and warming and provide a wide range of educational activities and lots of outdoor play too. My daughter particularly loves the stretch and grown classes and French and even comes home teaching me some sign language! The food is home-cooked and made fresh every day and the nursery is kept very clean too. Also, the management cannot help enough and is always there to provide support and answer any questions you might have. I couldn’t recommend Tiddlywinks enough, thank you for everything you do and have done for us!

A fantastic nursery which I would highly recommend to any parents looking to find a friendly, caring, creative and relaxed nursery setting. I currently have a 2-year-old attending and his older brother who is now at school talks very positively about his time there. Fantastic staff!

We have been very satisfied with this nursery and our second one is definitely going there as well.

Such a special place that we have been so lucky to send our boys to. The staff are amazing and the setting is warm, inviting and full of very high-quality resources and books to engage the children. All the staff know the children really well and have such kind, caring natures. They do brilliant activities linked with lots of current world events each week, and communication is excellent through the parent app and emails. Our sons really enjoy all their meals there, often more than they do at home! They love going to Tiddlywinks, have lots of friends and talk so positively in their time there.

Tiddlywinks is a lovely, friendly place to have your child. My child has been in all the rooms, and have shown clear progression and confidence as she is nurtured and supported by the caring team. Alongside the care and education, Tiddlywinks provides the children with lovely home cook foods and a daily update of how the children are getting along on their app.

Our little boy has been at Tiddlywinks for about a year now, and we couldn't be more impressed with the nursery. The staff are absolutely fantastic - they know the children incredibly well, put on a wide range of activities, and do their job with real warmth, care, and enthusiasm. The targets set by his key worker have really helped him develop over the past year and it's been so lovely to see him achieve them and to see how he has grown in confidence. He was a little unsettled at first, but the staff did such a good job of making him feel happy and secure, and now he can't wait to go in and have lots of fun! The menus are excellent - the children are offered an impressive range of food.

Fantastic nursery and preschool that really feels to be part of our family. Our daughter has attended since 2021, and moved from the baby room to preschool and we have loved Tiddlywinks every step of the way. We love how much the team prioritise outdoor activities and play, and although there isn't a huge amount of outdoor space, every bit of it is utilised to encourage play and learning about nature. Food is often mentioned in these reviews, for good reason. So much attention goes into the variety and quality of food, and the care for different dietary needs. We've found ourselves learning from our 3-year-old, who has developed an awareness of food allergies and being mindful of these, which really makes us happy, and shows how much attention to detail and real-world learning is ingrained in life at Tiddlywinks. We can't praise the staff more highly, they are kind, dedicated, and with super-human energy and we'll miss them all when school comes in September.

I can’t imagine a better setting for our daughter who has been made to feel fully part of the Tiddlywinks family. Social and emotional development is clearly a priority and our daughter has grown in confidence and made many wonderful friendships. The staff have always been completely supportive of medical, emotional, and dietary needs. One of the staff members prepares all the food and involves the children in cooking and food play right from babies. All of the staff are caring, dedicated, knowledgeable, and creative! The range of educational activities is amazing.

The staff at Tiddlywinks are tremendous and really care for the children and interact so well with them. Their is an excellent range of learning activities, and a rotation of instructors from e.g. kidslingo and stretch and grow. Their on site chef is excellent and there is great variety in the meals, which are healthy and low sugar. Some of the outside space is a little tired although part of the baby garden has recently been refurbished. Nursery fees rise every year, this year by £100 a month for a full time space, which is why I can't rate it more highly on costs. I'm sure other providers are rising their costs - but friends at other high quality nearby nurseries indicate that they had their first fee rise in 5 years this year.

Our little one loves her nursery. Lot of playing and new skills learnt. Staff always kind and good in support my child development. They always communicate with us keeping us informed on our kind progresses.

Tiddlywinks have been absolutely amazing in terms of helping Thea grow and development. Since joining she has really came out of her shell and her language skills have excelled. I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they do for her, and us!

My little boy has been at Tiddlywinks nursery for around 6 months and they have been outstanding with him. He's struggled to settle into the new routine and they have been so kind, patient, caring towards him and have gone above and beyond to help him settle in. The food provided is excellent, and every single staff member is a credit to the nursery.

Great nursery, staff really care about the children and my kids love it. The Staff are very attentive and supportive. The pre-school offering is great and the food is a big selling point - lots of variety and all made on site.
