Tiddlywinks is set in a purposefully designed environment, ensuring children are provided a plethora of opportunities to enhance their development and enjoy their time at the nursery. There are separate areas to allow the team to deliver age appropriate experiences and the time and attention each child requires.

The team work hard to create a stimulating and nurturing environment where children feel at home, comfortable and safe to explore and play however they wish.   • Our full days start from 7.30am until 6.30pm at a cost of £61.00 and we also offer half day sessions for the mornings: 7.30am - 1.00pm and the afternoon sessions: 1.00pm to 6.30pm at a cost of £36.00. There is also a charge of £3.50 per session for 7.30 am- 8.00am and for 6.00pm – 6.30 pm.

Prior to our daughter starting at the nursery she was diagnosed with a serious health condition. The staff could not have been more accommodating in terms of learning about the condition, attending training from the specialist nurses and building a care plan which supported her. This put our minds much
more at ease when she started at nursery. Our daughter is able to attend and enjoy nursery whilst we are comfortable in the knowledge the staff have hers and the rest of the children's wellbeing front of mind at all times.

We continue to love our nursery/pre-school, which has been like a second home for our little boy since he was 9months old. He is now 3 years old and has learned so much at Tiddlywinks and continues to learn new things and skills every day. He is excited about going each morning and is always happy when
we pick him up in the evening-a sign that he has had a fun day.
The entire team at Tiddlywinks is amazing and they have helped us so much through every stage of my childs development and we appreciate this very much. Their help has especially been invaluable for us who do not have other family around.
We are excited about our little girl starting there in a few months and we are sure she will be very well looked after and will enjoy her time there just as much as her brother.

We have had children attending Tiddywinks York for the past 4.5 years and have never had a bad word to say. The team are all friendly, welcoming and great at their jobs and Tiddlywinks provides lots of opportunity for developing their staff. We'll be sad when we say goodbye to Tiddlywinks in the summer!

Our son has been attending Tiddlywinks for 1.5 years now. It is a wonderful environment - the staff are so friendly, and every member (whether they normally work in his room or not) makes the effort to get to know him. It's always so wonderful for us to know how well the staff know him. There's a wonderful
range of activities that are organised for the little ones, and lots of outdoors time as well. He eats so well too - Auntie really does make some wonderful meals! The admin side of the nursery is great as well - we get lots of communication, through e-mails and through the parent app. I couldn't recommend Tiddlywinks enough.

Our son began attending Tiddlywinks in September 2024, and he absolutely loves his two days there each week. He settled in quickly, thanks to the incredibly supportive and caring staff who ensure his days are filled with fun and excitement. In the time he's been attending, he has learned so much and
developed significantly. Every time he heads to nursery, I know he is receiving excellent care, enjoying outdoor play, and savoring delicious, homemade meals. Tiddlywinks has truly made the transition to nursery a breeze, and I'm excited for his little brother to join him soon.

Absolutely outstanding nursery. Incredibly professional staff who genuinely love the little ones and take the time to get to know them as individuals. Amazingly good and nutritious food. The place really feels like a big family that we're lucky to be part of. I wish they could stay there till 18!

Our little girl has been at tiddlywinks nursery from the age of 8 months and is now 22 months. We have complete trust in the staff there, and have never had any issues with her care. We feel we can drop her off in the morning without a second thought. We can focus on our jobs knowing she is being well
looked after, stimulated and nurtured.
I would recommend this nursery to others without a doubt.

We have two children at Tiddlywinks and both are thriving there. The staff are always upbeat and welcoming and you really feel that they care deeply about each child. They have helped both our children to settle in to nursery quickly, so that they both love to go and are very happy there. They always
come home having done lots of fun activities and projects and sometimes don't want to leave!
It is also great to know that they will have had several good meals in the day, making evenings a lot less stressful!

A wonderful nursery, we have had such a great experience sending our little girl here, the staff are always proactive whenever we have a query and have supported us greatly! My granddaughter has been going here since she was under one year old. She is confident, bright and talks nonstop. The staff I have met as she has gone from one room to the next are warm, friendly and helpful with anything you have a question about. I am very happy with her going here, and I know she
will get the best care a child can have in her young life. The food she is given is fresh and nutritious - I don't think there is anything yet she has not liked.

The team at Tiddlywinks are amazing. They truly care for the children and offer a variety of great activities for the children, including many things focused on education and general development, but all done in a really fun and creative way. They provide fantastic healthy food too. The children all

Amazing nursery. I can’t think of anywhere else I would want to leave my daughter whilst we work! The food is varied, balanced and healthy, and they cater for allergies really well in our experience. Everyone who we engage with who works there genuinely cares about the kids and their development. My
child is really well supported, encouraging both her interests and skills she can expand on. There always seems to be a great mix of activities each day and lots of time outside, which is important to us. She’s always happy to go in the morning and comes home buzzing to report about her day. All the admin side and keeping in touch with parents is great and well run. Recommend to everyone!

I was nervous about her starting but didn't need to be as she is so happy each day that she goes in.
