Tiddlywinks York

Prior to our daughter starting at the nursery she was diagnosed with a serious health condition. The staff could not have been more accommodating in terms of learning about the condition, attending training from the specialist nurses and building a care plan which supported her. This put our minds much more at ease when she started at nursery. Our daughter is able to attend and enjoy nursery whilst we are comfortable in the knowledge the staff have hers and the rest of the children's wellbeing front of mind at all times.

Lovely nursery great staff always great and thorough hand overs when collecting my little boy. The staff are fantastic as are all the other staff (sorry can't remember everyone's names) who have looked after him throughout his years at tiddlywinks

Our son began attending Tiddlywinks in September 2024, and he absolutely loves his two days there each week. He settled in quickly, thanks to the incredibly supportive and caring staff who ensure his days are filled with fun and excitement. In the time he's been attending, he has learned so much and developed significantly. Every time he heads to nursery, I know he is receiving excellent care, enjoying outdoor play, and savoring delicious, homemade meals. Tiddlywinks has truly made the transition to nursery a breeze, and I'm excited for his little brother to join him soon.

Our son has been attending Tiddlywinks for 1.5 years now. It is a wonderful environment - the staff are so friendly, and every member (whether they normally work in his room or not) makes the effort to get to know him. It's always so wonderful for us to know how well the staff know him. There's a wonderful range of activities that are organised for the little ones, and lots of outdoors time as well. He eats so well too - Auntie really does make some wonderful meals! The admin side of the nursery is great as well - we get lots of communication, through e-mails and through the parent app. I couldn't recommend Tiddlywinks enough.

We have had children attending Tiddywinks York for the past 4.5 years and have never had a bad word to say. The team are all friendly, welcoming and great at their jobs and Tiddlywinks provides lots of opportunity for developing their staff. We'll be sad when we say goodbye to Tiddlywinks in the summer!

We are excited about our little girl starting there in a few months and we are sure she will be very well looked after and will enjoy her time there just as much as her brother.

Absolutely outstanding nursery. Incredibly professional staff who genuinely love the little ones and take the time to get to know them as individuals. Amazingly good and nutritious food. The place really feels like a big family that we're lucky to be part of. I wish they could stay there till 18!

I would recommend this nursery to others without a doubt.

It is also great to know that they will have had several good meals in the day, making evenings a lot less stressful!

A wonderful nursery, we have had such a great experience sending our little girl here, the staff are always proactive whenever we have a query and have supported us greatly! They are always willing to listen and take on feedback. Our little girl struggled a bit with the move over to pre-school but now is now feeling much more settled with no drama at the drop off!

Great range of activities and the food always smells amazing! Wish I could stay for lunch too!

Our son has recently started at the nursery and everyone is really welcoming and has helped him settle in really well. The daily feedback we receive on his day is really good and it's been great to see him enjoying himself and experiencing lots of new things!

The team are lovely and take great care of my son. Everyone is so friendly and there is a real personal feel at the nursery. The communication is fantastic, daily updates on what the room is up to, my son loves his time there.

My daughter has settled in so well at Tiddlywinks thanks to the kind and caring staff who work there. I was nervous about her starting but didn't need to be as she is so happy each day that she goes in. There is a wide range of activities and learning opportunities offered and the food she gets served sounds delicious!

Amazing nursery. I can’t think of anywhere else I would want to leave my daughter whilst we work! The food is varied, balanced and healthy, and they cater for allergies really well in our experience. Everyone who we engage with who works there genuinely cares about the kids and their development. My child is really well supported, encouraging both her interests and skills she can expand on. There always seems to be a great mix of activities each day and lots of time outside, which is important to us. She’s always happy to go in the morning and comes home buzzing to report about her day. All the admin side and keeping in touch with parents is great and well run. Recommend to everyone!

The team at Tiddlywinks are amazing. They truly care for the children and offer a variety of great activities for the children, including many things focused on education and general development, but all done in a really fun and creative way. They provide fantastic healthy food too. The children all have great relationships with their room staff, and every member of staff greets parents and children personally and with a smile.

Excellent nursery and such professional and lovely staff! My little boy is thriving in the baby room and loves attending here! The activities are wonderful and provide the children with experiences, both inside and outside. The food is wonderful, and he loves the variety and homemade selection.

My granddaughter has been going here since she was under one year old. She is confident, bright and talks nonstop. The staff I have met as she has gone from one room to the next are warm, friendly and helpful with anything you have a question about. I am very happy with her going here, and I know she will get the best care a child can have in her young life. The food she is given is fresh and nutritious - I don't think there is anything yet she has not liked.

My child moved to Tiddlywinks a few months ago, and the transition could not have been more smooth. The staff are great, and everything seems so well organised. We love receiving daily updates on activities, and regular updates on his personal progress.

I frequently drop and collect my granddaughter from Tiddlywinks Nursery. On each occasion, I am extremely impressed with the constant care and attention given to my granddaughter and other children who are there from all the staff. There is such a wonderful environment for the children to learn and when I have stayed for the stay and play sessions. On the journey home, my granddaughter chats away telling me what she has done that day. It’s just amazing.
