Partou Play Away Day Nursery & Pre-school

Ever since first looking around the nursery I have been satisfied that our 18month old boy will be safe and well looked after. Just a couple of months after enrolling him we noticed promising changes in his development from a baby into a toddler. This includes his speech/social interaction and even remembering nursery rhymes! He also is more independent with eating especially with a spoon/fork.

The manager and her staff clearly enjoy their jobs and I have been very impressed with the level of detail that goes into caring for our son. He definitely enjoys his day (7.30-5) and the staff always take time to inform me what his day has involved.

We would definitely recommend PlayAway to any friends or family and we look forward to seeing more of our child’s development!

Wonderfully supportive and excellent care. Proactive and caring. The team have gone above and beyond settling in my baby just as lockdown happened and couldn’t have returned to work without the reassurance my boy was in such good hands.

Brilliant nursery with fantastic staff looking after each group of children. The food menu is great and is always a good variety each week. Nice, clean and safe environment for the children with lots of activities for them to do. Will be sad to say goodbye next year. 5* would definitely recommend.

My little boy has been attending PlayAway since he was 10 months old. He is now in toddlers. He absolutely loves it! I can't recommend it enough! The staff in the toddler room are just so good with my little boy. The manager always tries to accommodate if we need extra days booked in!

My little boy has thrived at PlayAway. He began in babies and is now in preschool, he absolutely loves coming, he is always happy to go and when I pick him up he's so full of excitement telling me about his day. I will miss bringing him when he starts school and I know he will miss coming too. Such a fantastic nursery with lots of happy memories.

Our little boy has attended the PlayAway baby unit for a number of months now. He is very happy at nursery! We had to start nursery at the start of lockdown and we were incredibly nervous about placing our baby in a nursery. However, the PlayAway staff during lockdown put me at ease. The key person made a great effort with our baby and he now smiles and gets very excited when he sees her. Since coming out of national lockdown, another has taken over as key person and has put a lot of effort into his paper profile which we can look at whenever we want. Our baby is always full when he comes home and hearing all of the food he has eaten each day makes us laugh! We are very happy with PlayAway and will recommend to our friends and family.

A truly caring environment focused on child's interests and passions. Staff develop wonderful relationships with children and the affection between them is heartwarming. I can go to work confident that my children will be cared for with the love and professionalism.

It is comforting to leave my child in a caring and safe environment. It will be sad when he goes to school.

Thanks to the nursery and with their support, he became a confident and almost bilingual. (English is not his first language).

My daughter joined Playaway when she was 7 months old. The care she has received has been fantastic. Every member of staff knows her and greets her in a morning. She is looked after brilliantly and I have no hesitation recommending the nursery to others. Fantastic garden and they play out most days. They also do day trips/walks around and about (or to see the trains!) She eats better at nursery than at home. Her social skills have come on amazingly since being there and every day she seems to come home learning something knew. They do lots of arts, crafts and messy play and are taught manners (please and thank you's) straight away. All the staff are fab and genuinely seem to care.

Blown away with the enthusiasm of all the staff! They all seem to genuinely love their jobs, which makes it reassuring and we have full confidence that our girls are in good hands.

Always have a good attitude and smiles on their faces. My boy comes home saying how good his day was.

Fantastic nursery with dedicated friendly and caring staff. Our daughter calls it her key worker's house as she loves visiting to play with her.

Our little boy has been going to this nursery since 7 months old and he is now 2.5 yrs. We absolutely love this nursery and so does our little boy. Seeing his beaming face whilst he is there, everything he learns and how he is looked after is priceless. We only have fantastic comments when speaking about this nursery. Every member of staff work together to make it what it is and that is simply FANTASTIC. Thank you for all you do and well done.

Really happy with Play Away and the care my son receives. I can see he is developing well and enjoys going to nursery. It's great to see he is able to form friendships and can tell me what he's been up to during his day. Pre-school has definitely had a positive effect on him and our family.

PlayAway Day Nursery is a home from home. Amazing staff, amazing atmosphere, couldn't fault the nursery at all.
