Busy Bees Harrogate South Drive

Our two daughters have had a fabulous experience during their time at Busy Bees South Drive. We've been so pleased with the way they have developed both socially and mentally, with much of this due to the excellent environment that the manager and her team have created. We’ve been part of the community at South Drive for the best part of five years and have only had positive experiences, which considering what we’ve all faced over the past couple of years is no mean feat. The learning that’s put in place, the play time the children get to enjoy and the fresh meals that are prepared each day are of the highest quality, and moreover, the genuine care that’s provided is top-notch. I would fully recommend this nursery to any parents looking for a place for their child in the area as it’s excellent.

The nursery and staff are fantastic and my little girl loves going to nursery! She loves the activities and comes home so excited. Learning, development and exploration are highly encouraged and the nursery is extremely inclusive of varying celebrations. They have proactively looked into upcoming celebrations that we take part in, and have worked with me to include activities at nursery to celebrate. The staff are so kind, attentive and caring and makes us feel confident leaving our little girl in their care. Highly recommend and we'll be sending our second child to this nursery too.

Brilliant nursery - my little girl settled there immediately, she loves all the staff and gives them a big hug when she arrives. We get great updates and photos through the day via the app and she really seems to get to play with a huge variety of activities! The food selection is varied and healthy, she always eats well and has started trying different things at home since starting there. The staff all really care and encourage her lots, and bonus points for the baby ducks which my little girl adored.

Both of my sons have been at South Drive, so that’s a combined 7 years. The nursery has a lovely, warm, family feel as it is small and the staff are very welcoming and close knit. The manager is excellent and there is a good combination of long serving and newer staff. Both of my sons have been very happy and settled and we will miss the South Drive team very much. It’s a very special setting.

The team at South Drive provide a fantastic environment for little ones to learn, develop and grow. There is always a new activity to try, a game to play and they have helped both my children to have a healthy relationship with food thanks to the creative menus. My children have absolutely loved being at South Drive, literally running in every morning as they know they are going to have fun. The nursery is small enough to ensure that no one is forgotten about or left, yet big enough to allow the children to become independent whilst in a regulated, and secure, environment. From beach days to Halloween to football classes to special visits from someone at Christmas, South Drive gives children such a diverse and inclusive experience that it isn't surprising my children don't want to come home!

The staff and the manager of our nursery have been amazing - our wee one is transitioning between babies and toddlers, and we have been kept updated with progress and informed as to transition days and a programme of progress. This is our third child through this nursery and they have been amazing right though, can’t recommend enough!

A great nursery. Our daughter started at South Drive when she was 9 months old and settled in straight away. She enjoys nursery and looks forward to going. Friendly professional staff and a good environment for the children to play and learn.

After having my little girl in the pandemic I was really worried about her settling at nursery as she has never been looked after or barely seen anyone throughout 2020. I never needed to worry, after two weeks at Busy Bees at Harrogate South Drive she was completely settled and loves her days at nursery. The homely feel of the nursery is great and is probably what helped her settle quickly as it’s not too overbearing and the girls are fantastic and really do care for the children. I am thankful for the experiences my little girl is getting whilst at South Drive as in the current climate there are limited things I can do with her on top of working.

Amazing nursery. My son settled so well and loved going. Always doing something new, nice and friendly staff. He loves the variety of food and gets to try something new often.

My child attends here and has come on leaps and bounds since he started. He has built good relationships with both staff and other children so thank you to all the girls. He has become so confident just from going there. I can not thank the girls enough for the support they have given us with situations that have arisen, they really have been superstars!

My son attends South Drive and absolutely loves it. They use iconnect to inform us on how his day has been which means we get told throughout the day how he is doing which is brilliant. The communication is brilliant. They have done so many different activities with him like visiting different places compared to his last nursery. The staff are lovely and so caring. We trust them so much and know that our son is in safe hands with them. The nursery, in general, is small- but this is what we love, it is more homely! My son has learnt so much since being here and that’s all thanks to the girls. The manager has been fantastic and helpful since he started there 2 years ago.

My son had a fantastic time whilst here. The family feel around the place helps the kids feel happy and confident. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and they make a real effort to get to know each and every child and help them in their development. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Brilliant staff, very friendly. I would recommend this nursery to all my friends and family. My son loves the place and gets excited every time he goes.

The core staff are amazing, particularly the manager who has done everything she can to accommodate the needs of all of my daughters. We have been using South Drive for 8 years and have been thoroughly impressed by all the elements that make up the nursery. 100% recommended by us.

This nursery goes an extra mile for me. The manager is so accommodating and supportive. The rest of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Most importantly my little boy is happy and I feel he's in safe hands. I'm very pleased with how much my little boy has come on since attending this wonderful nursery. Our daughter has attended South Drive nursery for over a year now, since she was 12 months old. She is very happy and settled and has a great relationship with the staff, describing them as her ‘friends’!

We chose South Drive as we felt it was important to have an intimate, homely environment for our daughter, with good facilities and friendly staff - and we haven’t been disappointed. The staff have always demonstrated excellent care for our little girl’s wellbeing and we have been very impressed at how attentive they are. In particular, the team put in a lot of time and effort encouraging her with her walking, which was delayed and required some support, which was invaluable.

We are very happy that our little girl has a safe, loving environment within which she can develop and flourish and would highly recommend the nursery to other parents.

Kindercare South Drive have looked after (and still do) our first Child and now number two. They are friendly, caring and have excellent staff and management. At times we have really needed flexibility and they have been very accommodating.

Facilities are great and there is always a smile on their faces even when I’m sure little one has been a pain! Both children have developed great relationships and the first child was very sad to say goodbye to them.

Our daughter has attended Kindercare, South Drive for the past two years and we have been consistently impressed with the work the manager and the team do. The care, attention and focus on learning is absolutely fantastic and from the first day, we knew we'd made the right decision. It was important to us to find a caring, homely environment for our daughter and that is absolutely delivered in spades. The team are so warm, friendly and demonstrably care about the work they do.

Our daughter is happy, confident and developing extremely well in all aspects of her early years learning and we feel supported as parents by the team. I honestly couldn't recommend them highly enough!

The staff really do make the nursery so fantastic. They are all so friendly and create a very welcoming and homely environment for the children. I am familiar with every single member of staff and they all know my child very well, and that is the benefit of a smaller nursery. I like how the children are frequently outside playing and the different age groups are sometimes mixed together.
