Busy Bees Brough are located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, within close proximity of Hull city centre. The nursery provides a fantastic, nurturing, and caring environment to ensure every child has the best start in life.

The nursery welcomes children from babies right through to pre-school ages tailoring the multiple rooms throughout the nursery to support each age group. With the extensive range of fun-filled activities and resources, every child will flourish and thrive whilst developing and learning both physically and mentally.

The highly trained team go above and beyond for every child to provide a fun-filled, exciting time whilst in their care. They are dedicated to supplying your child with the best care during their nursery development as they prepare to make the next steps in their educational journey.

There is an exciting sensory room for younger children, featuring a variety of resources to excite the senses and stimulate the minds of your little ones. Along with a safe and comfortable sleep room, allowing the children who still require naps to get some much-needed rest. As your child develops through the nursery setting, they will be able to explore safe risks inside and outside of the nursery, on climbing frames, slides, and obstacles, which will encourage their imagination and curiosity.

My daughter has recently started in the baby room. We looked around many nurseries before choosing Busy Bees. We were instantly drawn to the "home from home" feel of the nursery. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and we felt happy leaving our daughter knowing that she would be cared for and engaged
in exciting activities. We were recommended to Busy Bees by friends and family and we, in turn, would highly recommend to anyone looking for high-quality childcare.

I Would not recommend this nursery to anyone.
The list is endless as to why not. Endless complaints about the daily running of the nursery.
Communication is appalling between management and parents.

All three of my granddaughters have attended Busy Bees in Brough at some point. My two youngest still attend. The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming and there are lots to look at in the reception area. Whenever I go to pick up the girls they are engaged in some lovely activity I sometimes
feel guilty taking them away. The food is good and so varied encouraging children to try new interesting foods.
I love this nursery and so do the children.

Our eldest daughter has been at Busy Bees for around 18 months. We are really happy with her progress and at how she and key contacts have forged close bonds. It is clear that she is really close to and fond of a number of staff there and it's great to drop her knowing she is going to be safe, engaged
with and most importantly enjoy her time there. We know ourselves that our daughter can be challenging at times and are really grateful to all the team for their efforts. Thank you!

Since starting nursery, my little one's development has come on in leaps and bounds. The nursery staff actively encourage the children in their care to develop their skills and improve on them.
If there is anything the child is lacking in (in our case, numeracy skills) the nursery will pick up on this
and encourage the child to practice the skill.
The staff are friendly, approachable and accommodating. My child loves to go to nursery and has flourished in their nurturing environment.

My son enjoys attending the Busy Bees nursery. The staff are wonderfully accommodating and caring. My sons learning is fully supported and they continually find ways to challenge and aid his development. I always feel assured that he is in a safe and fun environment. My only recommendation would be
to upgrade the outdoor areas and equipment including a refresh of some indoor activities to keep things new and different. Maybe also consider language classes for pre-school and drop-in sessions for gardening or animal handling or music.

My 3-year-old has attended the nursery since she was 10 months old and had the best experience here. She loves joining in with the science experiments, Rugbytots and other exciting activities. She has made lots of friends and absolutely loves the pre-school staff that care for her.

I can honestly say that for a mother of three there's no other nursery I would want my children to attend.


The staff are absolutely amazing with my daughter and have brought her on so much in ways I may not have been able to due to being back at work full time.


There attention to detail is impeccable

and the love the staff show towards the children makes me, as a mother, happy to leave my children in their care.


My daughter runs into nursery with pure joy and to me that shows the staff are doing an amazing job (my daughter is hard to please).


Thank you for all the support you give my children. I do and will continue to recommend Busy Bees to anyone who needs top quality child care.

My child loves and enjoys her time at the nursery, she has made a fantastic relationship with her keyworker as well as the staff in her room. I have no doubt that she fits in with the routine and the standard of care received is outstanding. She does enjoy the activities and she is given a challenge
adapting her activities to her needs. Her recent assessment shows she is where she needs to be in her development.

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees Brough since she was 7 months old and this year she will be leaving to go to school. She attends 2 days a week and loves her time at Busy Bees.
She has developed so well all thanks to the stimulating environment the lovely activities and the knowledgeable staff.
The nursery has recently being redecorated and it looks so homely and welcoming for everyone. We always get good feedback on an evening about our daughter's meals and what she has been doing during the day. I do like that all the meals are home cooked meals on site, gives you piece of mind that the meals are nutritional for the children.

My daughter has attended the nursery for a couple of weeks and really enjoys it. She leaves the nursery happy. The staff are friendly and makes my daughter welcome. The nursery is clean and tidy with lots of resources to encourage the learning and development of all children.

My son has been attending Busy Bees in Brough for 14 months and both he and I love it. The staff are very friendly and personable. The food is made on site and delicious and they do a large range of activities with him. He has come on leaps and bounds since attending and comes home surprising me with
his new found skills. I would thoroughly recommend Busy Bees in Brough to any parent or carer.

My daughter attends the nursery a few sessions a week and loves it!
The staff are friendly and professional and leaving my child in their care I feel at ease knowing that she will be cared for, cater for her needs and know that she will be in a safe and stable environment.
Busy Bees in Brough has
a nursery home feel, with freshly cooked meals on site.
The nursery has recently had a refurbishment, and looks amazing, with a new fantastic look and approach to children's learning offering a wide range of activities to help children reach their full potential and more.
The gardens and outdoor play area are brilliant as they offer outside play all the time letting the children learn and explore whatever the weather may be.
