Busy Bees Brough are located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, within close proximity of Hull city centre. The nursery provides a fantastic, nurturing, and caring environment to ensure every child has the best start in life.

The nursery welcomes children from babies right through to pre-school ages tailoring the multiple rooms throughout the nursery to support each age group. With the extensive range of fun-filled activities and resources, every child will flourish and thrive whilst developing and learning both physically and mentally.

The highly trained team go above and beyond for every child to provide a fun-filled, exciting time whilst in their care. They are dedicated to supplying your child with the best care during their nursery development as they prepare to make the next steps in their educational journey.

There is an exciting sensory room for younger children, featuring a variety of resources to excite the senses and stimulate the minds of your little ones. Along with a safe and comfortable sleep room, allowing the children who still require naps to get some much-needed rest. My son started Busy Bees October 2024 and he is absolutely thriving there. All of the staff are outstanding and so supportive. My son is happy there and I love seeing how confident he is. The staff put on a wide range of activities each day to keep the kids engaged and help them develop. Would definitely
recommend.

Both of our children have attended busy bees in the various rooms. We love manager she's really kind knows all the kids and parents and is really on it. The staff have always been great always felt safe leaving my kids there and each staff member knew my kids as individuals.
They still ask after
my eldest who has left for school. They did loads of pre-school prep which put him in a great place for school. As well as the traditional learning such as days of the week etc, they also did PE a couple times a week to practice getting changed which was a great touch.
Food options are great always know they are going to get a healthy meal and they've been super supporting through the weaning process.
Sorting out funding has been really easy. They don't put additional restrictions on it like other nurseries so you get the best value for your hours.
Would recommended to anyone.

My daughter started with Busy Bees in October 2024 when she had just turned 1. I was really nervous about my daughter starting nursery, being a first-time mum. I discussed all of my concerns with the manager before my daughter started and she listened to everything I told her and I felt really reassured.
Her transition into a nursery setting has been so much better than I ever expected it would be. I get updates on the app throughout the day, including nappy changes, when and how much she's eaten, sleep and most importantly, photos, which really makes me feel part of my daughter's nursery journey. She does all sorts of things during the day I wouldn't necessarily think of doing with her at home and her development has come on in leaps and bounds as a result. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

I would recommend Busy Bees in Brough to any parent who is looking for a nursery - my little girl has been there since we moved to the area last year. They put such attention, care and detail into her settling in period. During her time in the baby room she developed a very strong bond with her key
worker, as a mum it is so important to feel your child has someone they can rely on whilst your not there and the key worker was that for us. She absolutely attended to all of my girls individual needs and was so involved in her learning and development. We have now moved into toddlers and the experience has been great, a little unsure at first but all the staff (including my little girls favourite - the chef!) made sure she felt safe and secure. The little celebration days and events add to an already great calendar. The space is clean, filled with lots of different toys/sensory areas for all kids. The outdoor area is also great for them to get out for fresh air. 5 out of 5!

We have two children at the nursery, the eldest being nearly 4 and the youngest 14 months. Separating from your children when you go to work is incredibly tough but the staff have made the process so much easier and have been so understanding with it. The staff have been amazing with both the children,
showing warmth to them all the time. They go out of their way to ensure the children have a great time and it's so reassuring to know they're enjoying themselves when you're away from them. I would really recommend this setting.

I would highly recommend Busy Bees in Brough to any parent looking for a nursery for their child. The whole team in Brough are welcoming and friendly. I have two children, one who attended and now is at school and one child currently attending the nursery. The care and passion that the staff have are
second to none. The management team are great and will always go that extra mile to help. They take time to listen and help, whatever the request may be. The knowledge that the practitioners have and the time they take to get to know not only the child but the family as well is great. They know the children very well and can plan and extend their activities to take their learning to the next level. Busy Bees is, overall, a fantastic nursery and I would highly recommend.

I have two children at the nursery - one who has been there for fifteen months and another for five months. They've settled and bonded very well with the room staff and I can trust them with my requests regarding their sleeping schedule or any changes in routine. They update us daily with activities,
food and sleep on the app and keep us informed via phone if they're sick or an incident has happened so I am updated when needed. Overall, it's a lovely nursery and the staff are all friendly and welcoming. I'd recommend this nursery.

Our son has attended since 10 months old and is now almost 3. The staff have been incredible throughout the whole period. There were a few periods where staffing was inconsistent and we really noticed how unsettled he was becoming. We were considering changing settings but then things really improved
and a handful of staff in particular really put extra effort in to make drops off easier and transitions to the school room easier for him. Our eldest son (now 10) attended here too and he didn't look back once on his first day at primary so I know he was well prepared and I am confident our youngest will be too. It feels like staff are taking on board concerns and striving to constantly improve which is reassuring. Thank you for all your hard work we really appreciate everything you have done and it will be a sad day when our time is up!

My overall experience of Busy Bees Brough is excellent. My baby is always well cared for and is so happy when she's there. I love receiving photos of her day, to see what she's been getting up to. I love to see the activities set up too which is shown through the app as well as the breakdown of her
day. The handover from her key people is very thorough and is often accompanied with artwork that my little girl has made to take home. Since starting at Busy Bees Brough, I've felt at ease with the love and professional but friendly atmosphere, after a previous bad experience with a nursery, this time round has been totally different and I would highly recommend to anyone! I can't thank Busy Bees Brough enough.

Our son has been at Busy Bees now for nearly 8 months and we cannot fault the nursery at all. Since attending, his development has just come on leaps and bounds and the staff are always finding new activities and games to promote learning and development. The staff in Bombos room are second to none.
As first-time parents, they have given us so much support and advice, and thoroughly update us every day at pick up on what our son has been up to. The food menu is impressive - sometimes the dishes are a bit ambitious for toddlers but we really appreciate the diverse foods offered and know that he has been fed well throughout the day!
We have always been happy with Busy Bees but since the new manager started it has become even better. Communication with parents is really good and she is really involved with all the staff and children.

We were on the verge of leaving Busy Bees under the last management because it was honestly terrible and nothing was getting done for my child.
But after the new manager started, things completely turned around very fast. What an incredible addition to the Busy Bees family! She has made such a difference
in our lives that I can't even explain. Suddenly my boy has all of the support he needs and is thriving, he is a different child from the one that he was before she started. She gets stuff done and she is also very approachable and friendly, unlike the last manager. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place now and it is all thanks to the new management. She really did make an unspeakable difference to us and our little boy in an extremely stressful and hard time. We can't thank her enough for that and we are very thankful to have her. The staff's attitude has completely changed and the atmosphere is totally different. They are just amazing!

My son has been coming to Busy Bees since he was around 4 months old. Initially, as a first-time parent, I was feeling very nervous and unsure. However, I cannot express how fantastic Busy Bees staff have been. Staff are friendly, caring and willing to help as much as possible, even at short notice.
Staff will go above and beyond. I could not recommend the nursery more. Busy Bees have made me feel at such ease and it is a pleasure to send my little boy here. I could say so much more, but I am limited. I also want to say thank you. My son loves coming here.

Both my children attend Busy Bees and we can't fault it. We recommended it to my sister-in-law and now even my nephew attends. The staff are fantastic and the manager is understanding and accommodating. My son is very intelligent for his age and the staff are great at finding ways to stimulate him further
with different activities. 10/10 recommend.

From the first day, our daughter has loved every day of her time at Busy Bees. The staff have been friendly, attentive, caring and kind. Our daughter has made so many lovely friends and has been treated as an individual, not a job or a number. I really can't fault our experience and with another child

Very happy with my daughter's care and progress. She is usually more than happy to attend and talks about her friends there and staff members.
Since changes due to covid, we haven't been into the nursery for some time. It would be nice to see where she eats, sleeps etc. Maybe someone could do a virtual
tour of each stage? (without the children present obviously).

Overall good experience with friendly staff. The odd incident where accidents have taken place but nothing major. The drop off’s and collections are an absolute nightmare which are never looked forward to as the nursery doorbells are broken 99% of the time, leaving parents stood outside for much longer
than what is acceptable. I’ve personally waited 20 minutes and my husband has waited 25 minutes to collect our child and there were less than a handful of other parents present (it wasn’t busy).

My daughter has attended Busy Bees in Brough for almost two years, unfortunately, we are moving from the area and there are no Busy Bees close to where we are moving or she would have definitely gone there.
The staff have been brilliant especially with the new procedures in place due to covid. My son
attended the nursery eight years ago and knew my daughter would love it there too. She has come on leaps and bounds thanks to the staff at Busy Bees.

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough! My daughter attended her old nursery for a year and she never truly settled and we had quite a few issues with them. From the moment she started at Busy Bees in Brough I cannot believe how well she's settled in and bonded with the staff, her little face
lights up when we go to nursery and she comes out full of smiles, they are absolutely brilliant with her and I'm so happy I've found the perfect nursery for her, she even asks to go in on her one day off each week! Absolutely amazing nursery, happy mum and happy child.
