Amelie loves her time at the nursery. She has lots of fun and always seems engaged with the activities.
Staff are really caring and make her time really fun and have been fantastic with Amelies "journey" through toilet training recently.
With Amelie moving to pre-school the transition has been well managed and helped Amelie prepare for the full time move.
We have seen a massive improvement in Mellie's confidence in bigger groups or with new people which we believe has been partly driven from the nursery time.

Overall great nursery with caring and helpful staff.

Everyone has been absolutely amazing in the bombos room for edie. She enjoys coming into nursery and it's such a relief that she enjoys coming! The staff are so lovely and caring and cater to parents wishes amazingly! She has come on in leaps and bounds since she has started here, saying so many more words and knowing actions to different songs. Thank you everyone in the bombos room!

We have been really impressed with the nursery since we've joined. Every nursery worker is so lovely and made the transition really easy for us. My son enjoys it there so much. The communication is great and I know I could call as much as I'd like throughout a day to check in when he first joined.

My son and daughter both attend busy bees. My daughter and son, both like attending nursery and have both settled in great. I trust all the staff to keep my children safe. I enjoy seeing on the parent app, the development updates and images. I also like knowing when my children were signed in/out, asleep, what they have eaten etc. It's nice that my children attend a setting where I know they are safe and having fun. My children have indoor and outdoor play which is great.

Our son is thriving there and always enjoys his time, we are always kept informed and updated on the app. His key workers and other staff are supportive and caring, the food choice is excellent and the activities around special festivities are always so fun and engaging.

I couldn't be happier with the care and support my daughter receives at this nursery. Every member of staff is incredibly kind, patient and genuinely cares about the children and their wellbeing.

Communication has always been excellent - the team are approachable, supportive and always willing to listen. During a challenging time for our family, they were understanding and reassuring, and made sure my daughter felt safe, settled and supported in her day-to-day routine.

It is clear that the nursery places a strong emphasis on safeguarding and emotional wellbeing, and this gives me real peace of mind as a parent. I feel very fortunate to be part of such a caring, nurturing environment and would highly recommend the nursery to any family looking for a supportive and professional early years setting.

My son started Busy Bees October 2024 and he is absolutely thriving there. All of the staff are outstanding and so supportive. My son is happy there and I love seeing how confident he is. The staff put on a wide range of activities each day to keep the kids engaged and help them develop. Would definitely recommend.

Both of our children have attended busy bees in the various rooms. We love manager she's really kind knows all the kids and parents and is really on it. The staff have always been great always felt safe leaving my kids there and each staff member knew my kids as individuals.
They still ask after my eldest who has left for school. They did loads of pre-school prep which put him in a great place for school. As well as the traditional learning such as days of the week etc, they also did PE a couple times a week to practice getting changed which was a great touch.
Food options are great always know they are going to get a healthy meal and they've been super supporting through the weaning process.
Sorting out funding has been really easy. They don't put additional restrictions on it like other nurseries so you get the best value for your hours.

Would recommended to anyone.

My daughter started with Busy Bees in October 2024 when she had just turned 1. I was really nervous about my daughter starting nursery, being a first-time mum. I discussed all of my concerns with the manager before my daughter started and she listened to everything I told her and I felt really reassured. Her transition into a nursery setting has been so much better than I ever expected it would be. I get updates on the app throughout the day, including nappy changes, when and how much she's eaten, sleep and most importantly, photos, which really makes me feel part of my daughter's nursery journey. She does all sorts of things during the day I wouldn't necessarily think of doing with her at home and her development has come on in leaps and bounds as a result. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

I would recommend Busy Bees in Brough to any parent who is looking for a nursery - my little girl has been there since we moved to the area last year. They put such attention, care and detail into her settling in period. During her time in the baby room she developed a very strong bond with her key worker, as a mum it is so important to feel your child has someone they can rely on whilst your not there and the key worker was that for us. She absolutely attended to all of my girls individual needs and was so involved in her learning and development. We have now moved into toddlers and the experience has been great, a little unsure at first but all the staff (including my little girls favourite - the chef!) made sure she felt safe and secure. The little celebration days and events add to an already great calendar. The space is clean, filled with lots of different toys/sensory areas for all kids. The outdoor area is also great for them to get out for fresh air. 5 out of 5!

We have two children at the nursery, the eldest being nearly 4 and the youngest 14 months. Separating from your children when you go to work is incredibly tough but the staff have made the process so much easier and have been so understanding with it. The staff have been amazing with both the children, showing warmth to them all the time. They go out of their way to ensure the children have a great time and it's so reassuring to know they're enjoying themselves when you're away from them. I would really recommend this setting.

I would highly recommend Busy Bees in Brough to any parent looking for a nursery for their child. The whole team in Brough are welcoming and friendly. I have two children, one who attended and now is at school and one child currently attending the nursery. The care and passion that the staff have are second to none. The management team are great and will always go that extra mile to help. They take time to listen and help, whatever the request may be. The knowledge that the practitioners have and the time they take to get to know not only the child but the family as well is great. They know the children very well and can plan and extend their activities to take their learning to the next level. Busy Bees is, overall, a fantastic nursery and I would highly recommend.

I have two children at the nursery - one who has been there for fifteen months and another for five months. They've settled and bonded very well with the room staff and I can trust them with my requests regarding their sleeping schedule or any changes in routine. They update us daily with activities, food and sleep on the app and keep us informed via phone if they're sick or an incident has happened so I am updated when needed. Overall, it's a lovely nursery and the staff are all friendly and welcoming. I'd recommend this nursery.

Our son has attended since 10 months old and is now almost 3. The staff have been incredible throughout the whole period. There were a few periods where staffing was inconsistent and we really noticed how unsettled he was becoming. We were considering changing settings but then things really improved and a handful of staff in particular really put extra effort in to make drops off easier and transitions to the school room easier for him. Our eldest son (now 10) attended here too and he didn't look back once on his first day at primary so I know he was well prepared and I am confident our youngest will be too. It feels like staff are taking on board concerns and striving to constantly improve which is reassuring. Thank you for all your hard work we really appreciate everything you have done and it will be a sad day when our time is up!

My overall experience of Busy Bees Brough is excellent. My baby is always well cared for and is so happy when she's there. I love receiving photos of her day, to see what she's been getting up to. I love to see the activities set up too which is shown through the app as well as the breakdown of her day. The handover from her key people is very thorough and is often accompanied with artwork that my little girl has made to take home. Since starting at Busy Bees Brough, I've felt at ease with the love and professional but friendly atmosphere, after a previous bad experience with a nursery, this time round has been totally different and I would highly recommend to anyone! I can't thank Busy Bees Brough enough.

Our son has been at Busy Bees now for nearly 8 months and we cannot fault the nursery at all. Since attending, his development has just come on leaps and bounds and the staff are always finding new activities and games to promote learning and development. The staff in Bombos room are second to none. As first-time parents, they have given us so much support and advice, and thoroughly update us every day at pick up on what our son has been up to. The food menu is impressive - sometimes the dishes are a bit ambitious for toddlers but we really appreciate the diverse foods offered and know that he has been fed well throughout the day!

We have always been happy with Busy Bees but since the new manager started it has become even better. Communication with parents is really good and she is really involved with all the staff and children.

We were on the verge of leaving Busy Bees under the last management because it was honestly terrible and nothing was getting done for my child.

But after the new manager started, things completely turned around very fast. What an incredible addition to the Busy Bees family! She has made such a difference in our lives that I can't even explain. Suddenly my boy has all of the support he needs and is thriving, he is a different child from the one that he was before she started. She gets stuff done and she is also very approachable and friendly, unlike the last manager. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place now and it is all thanks to the new management. She really did make an unspeakable difference to us and our little boy in an extremely stressful and hard time. We can't thank her enough for that and we are very thankful to have her. The staff's attitude has completely changed and the atmosphere is totally different. They are just amazing!

My son has been coming to Busy Bees since he was around 4 months old. Initially, as a first-time parent, I was feeling very nervous and unsure. However, I cannot express how fantastic Busy Bees staff have been. Staff are friendly, caring and willing to help as much as possible, even at short notice. Staff will go above and beyond. I could not recommend the nursery more. Busy Bees have made me feel at such ease and it is a pleasure to send my little boy here. I could say so much more, but I am limited. I also want to say thank you. My son loves coming here.

Both my children attend Busy Bees and we can't fault it. We recommended it to my sister-in-law and now even my nephew attends. The staff are fantastic and the manager is understanding and accommodating. My son is very intelligent for his age and the staff are great at finding ways to stimulate him further with different activities. 10/10 recommend.

From the first day, our daughter has loved every day of her time at Busy Bees. The staff have been friendly, attentive, caring and kind. Our daughter has made so many lovely friends and has been treated as an individual, not a job or a number. I really can't fault our experience and with another child on the way we will be using Busy Bees for years to come!
