Busy Bees Wakefield

Our daughter is always excited when she arrives at nursery and sometimes doesn't want to leave. Her development has come on leaps and bounds that is all because of the activities and attention she gets from nursery. We are really pleased we chose Busy Bees Wakefield.

Busy Bess has provided excellent childcare for my son over the three years he has attended the nursery. The staff have always shown an interest in the children, even when they are not in the child's company, such as the kitchen and support staff in the office. My son has had several key workers who have always given him the care, attention and development skills needed. They have been very balanced, praising him but also correcting him when his behaviour has been questionable. Well done Busy Bees.

I have the great role of taking my granddaughter to and from nursery over the past eighteen months. During this time, I have seen her grow and develop at an astonishing rate thanks to the caring, supportive and stimulating environment she is immersed in at Busy Bees. I have seen the Busy Bees team recover from the impact of the pandemic and deliver a first-class service. I must mention the food, freshly made on the premises which brings new experiences and taste as well as being super healthy. At the end of the day, I collect a tired little girl full of stories about her day and above all else, a very happy little girl.

Every single member of staff goes above and beyond daily and I feel at ease leaving my little boy knowing he is always having fun. Since starting nursery in May 2023, my little one has come out of his shell and is becoming a confident, cheeky, crazy little boy who is into everything. Although I'd love to take the credit, this is actually down to his new key worker and all the time and effort she gives him. I cannot thank the staff enough for the care and passion they have for all the kids.

Excellently managed nursery. My son has always been happy here since the day he joined. He loves his key workers and are always happy to answer any of the questions I had. Definitely met all our requests and requirements during our time here. I have few complaints, my child is happy which is what matters most to me. Thank you Busy Bees management and staff.

When I called to discuss, she questioned why my 7-month-old baby had only tried 7 types of food, suggesting that he should be consuming many more by his age. I found this comment both insensitive and disrespectful. My baby has sensitive skin and needs more time to try new foods safely. Her suggestion that I should introduce a wide variety of foods in a short period, coupled with her dismissive attitude, was highly inappropriate. Every time I try to communicate with her, she constantly interrupts my conversation. She keeps using a blaming attitude and questioning my way of taking care of my baby. Please think carefully before letting your baby attend Busybee Wakefield, especially if your baby has sensitive skin.

Busy Bees Wakefield is outstanding. The care my 18-month-old son receives in Bambo 2, is second to none. All of the staff in the room truly care about him, showing kindness and compassion whilst being fun and creative. The activities they do each week are brilliant and innovative, keeping my son's attention and exposing him to new play ideas. All of this is possible from the exemplary leadership of the nursery manager.

Staff are great, really friendly and caring. Feel happy and safe leaving my babies with them. Management are lovely too, always helpful with any questions.

We are so happy with our experience at Busy Bees - all of the staff are supportive and caring. My daughter's confidence and abilities have come on so far and she adores her time here. She is excited to come and see her key worker and friends each week and we feel that she is learning all she needs to set her up well for primary school too. She has also come a long way with her eating and willingness to try new foods, I think in large part due to the varied menu here and eating with her peers.

Lovely nursery for our daughter to attend. She is in her element here and loves all the staff members. Her learning has developed since attending and we feel she is always in safe hands.

I first visited Busy Bees (Wakefield) for a visit to look around for my daughter and instantly felt welcome, the nursery had a warm, family feel to it. My daughter started at a months old and is nearly about to turn four. Throughout room changes and her first day, both me and my daughter were comforted. All staff made us both feel welcome and I know she is safe and well looked after. It has been lovely seeing her progress more thanks to everyone's help and will miss everyone when she has to leave. I will be grateful for everything.

Busy Bees has always been flexible, accommodating and honest with childcare. Our daughter has also been looked after, stimulated and happy. She receives good, honest care and the staff always want to help. We find Busy Bees friendly, helpful and a great place for our daughter.

Our son has attended Busy Bees at Wakefield for a year (aged one and a half to age two and a half). We cannot believe the progress he has made in his speech, social skill and physical development. The staff in the baby room2 and toddler room have been so kind and loving and the admin staff are excellent. Being regularly updated on the app is an added perk. Busy Bees is an outstanding nursery and we would confidently recommend them to any friends and family with children.

Our experience of Busy Bees has been exceptional. The staff and especially the key workers provide a stable and comforting environment for our children, they always go out of their way to ensure every need is met. Our children love Busy Bees and have a strong bond with key workers which is so important. The activities, play, engagement have been vital in our childrens' progression and learning. We are extremely happy with every aspect and support provided to our children but also us as parents.

My daughter loves Busy Bees, although she is quiet and shy she has a lovely relationship with the staff, in particular, her key worker. We have lots of her artwork, she will sing songs that she has learnt at nursery with the correct actions and we have lots of photographs of play taking place. The various meals are also of a good variety. We have found the parent zone app great at keeping us updated on the ongoings throughout the day. We would recommend Busy Bees to any parent.

The staff are kind, caring and they display genuine interest in our children's happiness and learning. The activities are varied and fun meaning the children are kept stimulated and interested. I particularly find the Parentzone app useful which allows me to track what my children have eaten through the day.
