Nurtured @ Wakefield

I could not be happier with the service provided for my daughter during her time at Nurtured. Key workers are attentive to her wishes and needs and always plan provisions and activities that support her development across each of the early-year strands. Members of staff are all friendly and approachable, making drop-offs and collection easy and comfortable. My daughter thinks very highly of her key worker and the members of staff that oversee her in preschool, I am overjoyed.

Great staff who attentively look after my son. Inform me of how he has been. How he has eaten. Who he's played with. Regular updates with pictures on the app to provide valuable loved photos of the kids enjoying themselves.

Overall, I will recommend Nurtured at Wakefield to my family and friends.

Great staff and facilities, keep you updated on your child and do their best for them. My daughter only started going this month and while she gets upset when dropped off, she settles in quickly and seems to have a lot of fun.

My youngest has been going since she was 8 months and I’ve had the same experience, if not better. Staff have implemented the app which means I get regular updates and good communication throughout the day and I’m updated regularly on my children’s learning and progress at nursery.

It is a great nursery and one we would recommend.

They are going out on trips to the local park and have loads that they plan to do that are fun as well as educational.

My toddler daughter has been attending Nutured since December 2023. Initially, she was attending part-time but after seeing the inputs she received from there, I put her full-time. Care, attention, food everything is top class. Management is very parent-friendly and flexible with timings when we want some immediate arrangements due to a personal emergency. Cheers to the entire team. Special thanks to four staff members in particular of whom my daughter will address as her friends.

My child really enjoys going to preschool and loves the different types of activities they do daily. The staff are all really friendly and my child thinks they are all great. The preschool has a great atmosphere.

I was shocked when trying to locate a nursery place for my son 9 months ahead of my return to work. I finally found a spot at Nurtured and thank God, the other nurseries didn't have a place! I could not imagine sending my son anywhere else (I've even argued with the hubby about not moving out of the area as I couldn't possibly send him somewhere new). All staff are super friendly and approachable. My little one just toddles in and greets everyone on his way to the baby room. They acted super swiftly when he suffered a seizure during naptime and got him the help he needed whilst maintaining communication throughout. He's always doing something creative and is really thriving in the setting.

So far we have had a pleasant experience, we started late in the academic year and it took us a while to settle in however, so far I'm happy with the attention my child has been given to help get him prepared for reception.

My son enjoys coming to the nursery on Mondays and Tuesdays and always has a smile on his face coming home like he’s had an amazing time. From what I see on the app, the staff love doing their job. Also, they make sure they are engaging and provide a stimulating environment for my son.

My son has been attending Nurtured @ Wakefield for nearly a year. He started only doing one day and did take some time to settle but his key person and the room leader who are now in the baby room are amazing. They really do go above and beyond to make my little boy happy, and I feel so at ease leaving him in their care. He spends his time at home shouting their names, and he smiles and claps his hands when we arrive at nursery.

Overall, a great place for your little one to go every day.

My little boy has been attending nursery for 2 days a week for 17 months now. I am really happy with all aspects of the nursery and staff. My little boy really enjoys his time there and is always excited to go and see his key worker.

There have been great improvements and investments here, especially with staff, training and resources. Staff create caring, purposeful environments whilst nurturing a love of learning. My little boy has made great progress and I'm so happy with the relationships he has formed with peers and the adults there. Thank you.

The outdoor space is amazing and the children spend lots of their day outside. The staff have blown us away with their kindness and professionalism. We would highly recommend this nursery.

My son joined this nursery in September after moving from another one nearby. The staff here have been fantastic, my son settled in quickly, enjoys going and takes part in some great activities. The staff keep us well informed of his day and we get regular updates on his progress. An absolutely amazing team!

Fantastic place and staff is absolutely brilliant. Had all sorts of not great experiences with other nurseries and Nurtured @ Wakefield is by far the best one. Helped us massively with our son and gave us very good parenting tips. Can't praise them enough!

Both my children attended the nursery and are now in the holiday club that services their school. I have always been really impressed with the commitment of the staff who continuously provide second to none care for both my children and other children who attend the setting. The facilities are more than adequate and the outside play area is amazing. The children have so much space and outdoor equipment to help them grow, learn and develop. My children have attended from being babies and the transitional process used has prepared them well for school. They still love going to the holiday club and will often ask when they are going to see their friends and the staff. The exceptional service provided for both drop off and pick up from school allows me to have peace of mind when I am at work and unable to do it myself. This is certainly a nursery that offers great value for money, which for me comes second to knowing that my children are in a safe, fun and caring environment.
