Nurtured @ Wakefield

Lovely nursery and staff is amazing. My daughter attends nursery once a week and she really enjoys spending time there. Staff is very caring, respectful and understanding. Nursery are amazing with meeting my daughters dietary needs due her eczema. They provide so much different activities for kids including days out. My heart is always at peace when she is attending nursery. Also staff provides updates on app so you always know what your child is doing. Thank you everyone for your amazing work.

I personally can not recommend the nursery enough I feel like I'm leaving my children at a family members home rather than a nursery!

My boy started nursery at 20 months, he is a confident little boy but struggled to settle. All the staff really went out of their way to help him settle & understand him (he still isn't speaking). We cannot praise the staff enough for their hard work and dedication to ensuring the children in their care are happy, learning, engaging & "nurtured". He always has fun (even when he had initially been upset at drops offs) and for the last 2 weeks has been dropped off without any upset. This is a testament to how hard the girls work to ensure the children feel secure, comfort them when they are upset, and make sure they are having the best time. The staff work so hard & you can see how much they love the job & care for the little people they are working with. Communication is fantastic, and nothing is too much trouble for any staff. I cannot think of a better setting for my boy, and happily recommend Nurtured for anyone looking for a rich, safe, and loving environment for their mini me's.

We couldn't be more thrilled with our experience at Nurtured Wakefield! The care and attention our little one receives is truly exceptional. The staff are incredibly warm, nurturing, and always go the extra mile to ensure each child feels safe, happy, and engaged. The nursery's curriculum is diverse and stimulating, incorporating a wonderful mix of play-based learning, creative activities, and outdoor exploration. Our child has made tremendous progress in their social and cognitive development, thanks to the dedicated and knowledgeable staff. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and designed to create an inviting and comfortable environment for the children. We also appreciate the regular updates and communication from the staff, keeping us informed about our child's daily activities and milestones.

We love the nursery. My son is currently in toddler section and what matter to me is he enjoys it. The staff are always good with keeping you up to date. My oldest also attended this nursery. This will be my second baby at the nursery and it's the best decision we made.

All the staff are amazing and really helped my little one settle in and become more confident! They keep me updated on what he's been up to and how he's doing during the day. Cannot thank the girls enough for all their hard work!

Since my little boy has started at Nurtured Wakefield he has come on in leaps and bounds. We moved him to a nursery after him not settling at a previous childminder, the setting is so welcoming and calm. He instantly settled and has made lovely bonds with all the staff, we constantly are kept up to date with his progress and learning. Definitely peace of mind that my child is getting the care and support he needs for his journey in nursery.

My daughter found nursery difficult at the start, but the staff and management kept in contact with me and put a plan in place to help her feel more comfortable. Since this, she is now thriving at nursery which is a big relief knowing she is in safe hands. She is flourishing at Nurtured, it is a warm and nurturing environment, and it is clear that staff are dedicated to creating a positive and enriching experience.

Have been pleased with Nurtured so far. Everyone is lovely to my child and I feel they are safe left in their care. I like the updates I get throughout the day in the nursery app too. My favourite thing about this nursery is that the outside space is generous in size, especially compared to others in the area, and it is full of nature and big trees which was important to me as we don't have a garden of our own. They spend lots of time outside and don't let the weather stop them, they just wrap up warm which I love. My child really enjoys going!

Both of my children have attended the nursery over the last three years and I am so pleased they did. It has changed hands in that time and has seen many improvements to keep children safe, happy and loving learning. Over the last year, my youngest has enjoyed toddlers and is now loving what preschool has to offer. She has come on so much with her speech and confidence and has made some strong friendships with pupils. The staff all work tremendously hard to stay up to date with policy and practice, to keep children safe and to provide next steps and numerous learning opportunities. Staff have especially worked hard to bring a buzz to nursery this month with the crafts and activities brought about by Halloween. The scare-fest event for families to bring the children to and take part in a number of fun activities has been a real highlight and is hopefully the start of more moments like this. We loved spending time with our daughters in an environment they feel safe in!

I have a lovely and wonderful experience with this nursery with my 2 boys. All staff are lovely and understanding of any concerns shared with them. The office staff have good listening ears and are supportive whenever I have issues with payment and family lives especially when I lost my mum. Well done to the staff because they have a unique teamwork.

Absolutely brilliant nursery, would 100% recommend it to anybody looking for their children. The meals sound absolutely delicious! The activities that they do sound and look really fun. Overall brilliant.

My daughter has been attending Nurtured at Wakefield for over a year! The staff are always so amazing and she genuinely loves the girls who work there, talks about them at home, and is always happy to go to nursery! The posts and pics on family are always so cute and I always feel comfortable knowing she is been looked after!

My children have been attending for over a year and a half now. And I absolutely love this place for my children! The staff are amazing, and the communication is great. The environment is safe and the nursery has been made to be a very comfortable safe place for children and babies. I never have any worry, I am always reassured. The recent Halloween party was absolutely amazing and you can tell how much hard work the staff put in to give the best outcome for the children which means a lot. Thank you Nurtured for giving my children the best days they are in. As well as the amazing trips when they go out! Would definitely recommend this nursery 100%.

I love how my daughter comes home happy each time she's there. She seems to have learnt so much in the short time she's there, is eating so many new foods from the meals she has and is starting to make friends. It's nice to see her opening up to new adults which shows me the staff are good with her. I can't wait to see how much more she develops in this lovely setting with the amazing staff.

It truly is a brilliant little nursery and I always feel happy dropping him off in the morning knowing he's in safe hands and is going to have a wonderful day.

If I could give more stars then I would! My daughter has only been attending nursery for 4 weeks and I can’t praise the staff enough. My daughter has type 1 diabetes and the girls go above and beyond with supporting her! They have made me and Dad feel so relaxed and calm whilst they are caring for her. The staff are so welcoming and the children that attend always look happy and fully engaged in the activities that are set up. Even the nursery cook reached out to me when they had a few changes on the menu to support my daughter’s needs. Beautiful nursery with outstanding staff!
