Earlybirds Daycare

We are so glad we found this nursery! My little boy has loved being here and come on so much while he has been attending.

The staff are lovely, really engaged with the kids and help them develop and play!

The staff, go above and beyond and really get to know their kids, it made me feel so much more comfortable when the time came for my son to start nursery.

My son is always well fed and looked after.

Really can't recommend the nursery enough to anyone looking for somewhere for their little people.

All 3 of my children have / are attending this lovely nursery and they love it! I have twin girls that are still attending Earlybirds's and I love how they treat them as individuals rather than a pair (giving them different key workers / progress review meetings etc) because they are the total opposites of each other. My kids have learnt so much whilst being here and their confidence has grown so much. It's a really family friendly environment and they really do get to know all the children's personalities, wants & needs aswell as the parents & grandparents! The ladies are absolutely amazing and go above & beyond for anything they possibly can. Thank you!

All 3 of my children have attended early birds daycare and all 3 had a fantastic experience. The ladies who work there are friendly and genuinely care and take an interest in the children. My youngest attends 3 days a week now and there are still staff who remember my eldest child. The fact the staff turnover is low is another testament to how amazing the nursery is.

Both my daughters have gone to this nursery since they were 9 months old, my oldest is now in school and my youngest has just gone into the pre school room. All the staff are so friendly and always approachable if you have any queries. They always get to know the children and what they like, and go out of their way to ensure the children are happy whilst in their care. Both my children created strong bonds with the staff which shows how well they are treated when I leave. Would recommend this nursery to everyone.

As she approaches her final year at early birds we're so excited to enrol her new baby sister/ brother when they're born as I know they'll all take amazing care of our new little one

Both my girls have gone to early bird's in Normanton and absolutely thrived there. My almost 2 year old is there now and she loves going she's so happy when we walk through the gates every morning and the staff are amazing with her. She's come on so much since attending. Thankyou so much for taking such good care of her. :) x

My son currently attends Earlybirds and absolutely loves it. Staff are warm, welcoming and brilliant with the children. He is well supported with his development and has a lovely relationship with staff and other children.

Earlybirds is a fantastic nursery! My daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old and she absolutely loves it. The girls are all amazing and go above and beyond to make the children feel special and cared for. The baby room team and toddler team are exceptional, I'm so glad I picked this nursery.

I'd like to give a very special mention to Kizzey and Helen, who looked after our daughter when she was in the baby room. They built such a lovely bond with her, and it means so much to us that even though she has now moved on from the baby room, they still regularly check on her, ask how she is and make sure I'm reassured. Also the manager Claire, nothing is too much trouble. You can tell that she genuinely cares about the children and their families, and that means so much to us.

All the staff are amazing here, they are always very friendly and polite. My daughter loves coming and will run in to join them in the activity they are doing. The staff are just amazing with her and she has learnt so much while she has been there too, so thank you. The staff always make the nursery have a really lovely and caring atmosphere and as a mum that was really important to me.

The staff are really lovely and are always giving me updates when I arrive to pick him up. The staff are really friendly!

I want to say a big thank to all the staff of Earlybirds daycare nursery for their amazing effort. since my daughter started her pre school, there has been a lot of improvement in her learning. thank you so much for taking good care of her.

My little boy has becoming to nursery since January 2025 and he absolutely loves it! His confidence since starting to now has grown and he's grown so much! The staff are fantastic and reassure you throughout the day via the app with photos and comments, handovers are always well received.. a fabulous nursery all round

Since my little boy went into toddlers he's come on so much as they do themed weeks learning different topics. Highly recommend!

Brilliant nursery my child has come on leaps and bounds since being at early birds couldn't of asked for a better nursery, all the staff are lovely and very friendly. My child loves going to nursery and looks forward to playing with her friends.

My son attends early birds nursery and he's currently in baby room he has been going there since been 10 months old and I can say he absolutely loves it never looks back when I'm leaving, and just runs to girls and they always happy to see him just as he is to see them. Girls in baby room are absolutely amazing and supportive with my son. They have an amazing bond with my son which is very Important to me I love seeing how caring and loving they are with him and how he is with them back. He's always well looked after and supported with any milestones that he's hitting or needs any help with. Nursery has also supported me and my partner with the hours that we need for our son and the days and been flexible with us which were grateful for. Overoll place is amazing and highly recommended it for any family that needs childcare.

Updates at the end of each setting are clear and thorough and it's great to get periodic photographic updates through the week via the app. The main thing for me has always been that my kids are safe, well fed, healthy and happy and Earlybirds delivers this and so much more.

My son has been with early birds since 2022. They have been nothing but accommodating professional and overall have given him the best nursery experience I could've wished for before he journeys into mainstream school. Early birds is welcoming, the staff are amazing and being a shift worker for the emergency services they have always gone above and beyond to provide assistance when needed. I couldn't recommend early birds enough to anyone looking to place a child into nursery. He always comes home full of joy and can't wait to tell me about the day he's had.

My little one absolutely loves school (as she calls it), has made lots of friends and is very fond of the staff. We have always found the staff to be approachable, helpful and committed to needs. She loves the food choices and often comes home singing the songs and telling us stories of who she has played with that day and what they have done. She also loves bringing the arts and crafts she makes at school home to show us. They go in her memory box. The 7am early start is extremely helpful and has been a great assistance to us as we start work early.The tapestry updates are great but I would like to see more often updates. This is absolutely not a criticism, just my own personal preference. I understand that wraparound isn't available for school nursery however I would just like to confirm that we would use this service if it was available. Again, no criticism intended. Thank you so much for giving my little one a lovely, warm and thriving start to her education journey.

We have used Earlybirds for around 2 years. My child is always well cared for and a clear handover given at the end of the day. The staff are lovely. They clearly all care for children and that shows. My child is happy and thriving - thank you! My only improvement would be more use of online updates from their nominated service - the app - as updates are rarely added to this. If this was utilised more, events would not he missed, such as pyjama day for children in need. A number of children were upset at drop off that they didn't have theirs on like others.
