Both my boys have attended Tots and Tykes and we are really happy with the way they have been looked after. The fabulous key workers in the Pre-School room alerted us to the possibility that our eldest may have autism and the support they gave us to request an assessment was incredible. They were amazing
with him and he loved it there. My youngest has been going since he was just 4 months old, that is how much I trust the ladies working here! He's having a great time, as did his brother. A little mention too of the outside area, which is lovely. Highly recommend.

My daughter started at Tots “n” Tykes in the baby room back in April. Although apprehensive to start her in the nursery, the team in the room made me feel so at ease! They are all so welcoming, warm and kind on drop off and collection. With daily updates, I get to find out what she's up to, what she's
eaten and for how long she slept. She now walks off and gets stuck in every day and it's so nice to see! The activities in the baby room look like lots of fun, from the painting, water play and even a suitcase of sand! Thank you to all the staff!

My daughter has been at Tots n Tykes Nursery since she was 12 months old. She's now nearly 4.
I was initially won over by the member staff in the baby room because she was so warm and caring. She and the team in there took brilliant care of my baby, as have all the staff in the rooms as she's grown
up through the toddler room into preschool.
It feels like a little family there and I always feel that the staff genuinely care for and want the best for my child. They do loads of really sweet and fun activities like visiting the local park, forest school, even a mini first aid course. Also lots of stuff around emotional development.
I wasn't interested in a nursery that focused on academia - I wanted my child just to play, be safe and happy (which she absolutely gets there). But she's actually also had some great teaching too especially in terms of phonics. They make it really enjoyable so my daughter has picked up some really advanced reading and writing skills along the way.
Couldn't recommend it more.

We have been using Tots n Tykes nursery for a few years now as our little girl attended and now our little boy does. We love the staff - they are always friendly, helpful and keen to offer advice and support when needed. They have always been fab at talking about the day my children have had or any
concerns. I have always felt my children are happy and safe here. They have developed so well socially, emotionally and developmentally.

Absolutely fantastic and lovely nursery. Would recommend it 100 per cent! My son always comes home very happy, and every time I would collect him, he was always smiling and laughing. Fantastic key worker system in place. Always updated by email or phone calls! Fantastic communication by all the team.
Lovely garden and nice, clean nursery. I’m sad my little one has now left for school, but my other child will definitely be going here such a safe and lovely place. If you want a happy child send them here!

One way of judging a nursery is how you feel when it's time for your child to move on from that setting. With Tots n Tykes, both times, my children have left it has been incredibly emotional. The experience my children had there was fantastic, they grew so much and adored the staff. The activities the
staff carry out are amazing, tailored to the children's' interests and very creative. My youngest loves all the singing and has a huge repertoire of nursery rhymes now, thanks to his key worker. The space in the nursery is small, but it has been utilised to its fullest, and the children are never limited by the size.

Both my daughters attended this nursery and after three years I'm gutted we are now saying goodbye. One started in the preschool room and other in the baby room and worked her way to the preschool room. I knew that from day one my children were so looked after and never had an issue. Always picked up
happy children that sometimes didn't even want to leave. The key workers have always done amazing observations, keeping me in the loop with their development and process. Couldn't have picked better childcare for my children. 1000% recommend.

Our little boy has been going to Tots N Tykes for 4-5 months now. It was very hard thinking about leaving him at just 7 months to go back to work, but the 2 girls in the baby room and all the girls in the toddler room have made it so much easier. All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly and you
can see how much they really care for all of the children. Our little boy has settled in extremely well - he's always smiling at drop off/pick up and the updates we get to show what he's been up to brighten our day. We are happy with his development and I feel confident that he is in very safe hands and is being cared for in a warm and stimulating environment.

Our little boy has attended this nursery since he was 14 months old and he has always loved it! From our initial walk round (the Manager is very knowledgeable and personable) to him starting and continuing there we can’t do anything but praise it, it’s fantastic.


The staff are so welcoming, knowledgeable

and nothing is too much trouble. The food, activities and learning journals (online) are all great too and they have a Forest School they attend which our boy enjoys. We just love this place. Our little girl will also attend here shortly and we are sure she will love it just as much.

Our experience of Tots n Tykes Nursery is overwhelmingly positive. Both our boys have attended and in that time experienced nothing but top-class standard of care.
The activities they engage in are varied and stimulating, swimming and forest school to name two. What stands out though is the dedication
the staff have, they understand and take time to learn about our children's needs, interests, passion etc and modify their curriculum to suit their development.

Our daughter has been with Tots n Tykes for a few months now and she has taken to the staff and her new environment really well.
We, as parents, are really happy with our daughter and how she is developing, growing in confidence and trying new tasks.
Two staff members, in particular, are always helpful
and informative. It really helps us as parents to keep up with how our daughter is getting on, so we can understand all the experiences and build in new activities.

My daughter loves the nursery.
The staff are amazing and are so helpful, they all made it so much easier for us with settling etc. They do care about the children and my daughter's developed so much in two months.

Tots n Tykes is a great nursery.
Our son has additional needs and the nursery did so much to get him the help, resources and support that he needed whilst he was with them. He loved the team and the staff. The outside area was his favourite I’d have to say. It’s just such a lovely nursery.

My two boys have just left Tots N Tykes to start school and I cannot recommend the nursery enough.
The staff are all friendly and show genuine care in the well being and progression of the children. I love how they are led by the children when planning activities - taking their interests and likes
into account when purchasing resources and using items that the children have found or brought in from home to engage the children in play-based learning.
My boys have loved having the opportunity to take part in swimming lessons, visit a care home, take part in local community events and experience forest school sessions. The food given is healthy, balanced and homemade. The staff are all first aid trained, showing that they take the safety of children seriously. My boys loved their time at nursery and talk about how much they miss it - a sure sign they're doing something right!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tots N Tykes to anyone else.

What an amazing nursery, we can’t speak highly enough of both the staff and the care that our son had whilst at Tots n Tykes. He was there from 12 months old until he finished in August for school. With allergies to various foods, his needs were always catered for to the highest standard. He was supported
in every aspect of learning and became a very confident little boy. We have already booked a place for our younger son and he will start in the new year. We look forward to making more new memories with a brilliant team of people.

Our son has been at Tots and Tykes for the last three and a half years. He has been really happy there and has been encouraged to develop in all different areas and made so many friends. Staff have always been professional, caring and understanding in all situations. They have always provided good feedback
and we have always felt extremely confident and reassured that he has been in very good hands. Staff have really got to know him as an individual and his personality. It has also been wonderful that he has also had the opportunity to take part in swimming lessons, forest school and going to the care home. Thank you so much for giving our son so much experience and fun over the last few years and for giving us the reassurance that he has been extremely well cared for.
