Three Bears Nursery and Preschool is a family run private day nursery set in far Headingley/West Park in North Leeds. The nursery was first established in 2005 and has since grown to the 50 place nursery it is today. The team at Three Bears place the happiness, safety and development of every child at the centre of everything, from the daily care routines, to the Key Person system, the array of different outdoor play spaces, weekly activities and healthy seasonal menus.

Three Bears Nursery is a registered childcare provider with OFSTED Early Years. Their latest Ofted inspection was carried out on 7 December 2021 when they were graded a 'Good' Provider in all areas.

The nursery is located at 226 Otley Road en-route to Headingley 2 minutes from Leeds Beckett Headingley campus and 10 minutes from University of Leeds. There is a large onsite car park making drop-offs and pickups as easy as possible for parents.

My son has been going to the nursery for over a year, since he was 9 months old and I am so pleased with our decision to send him there. The nursery is such a friendly place with a clear emphasis on child development and care and my son loved going there almost from day one! The food provided is really
varied which is brilliant and they do lots of activities with them. We really love getting updates through the app and seeing how our son's day is going, we also love the updates we get at pick-up time too which really highlights the personal level of care provided. The nursery has been really accommodating and flexible with us too which really helps us with our jobs.
I would definitely recommend this setting to others, every single member of staff is fantastic and we feel really lucky to have such a place on our doorstep that we can send our son to.

My daughter is new to Three Bears Nursery after a house and nursery move and she has settled in so quickly. I have been impressed by the staff's experience, the patience they have and the professional but loving approach to the children in their care. My daughter loves going outside and this was one
of the major appeals of Three Bears. As such, she is so happy to be there and we are happy with the care she is getting.

Our daughter has had the most amazing time in baby bears at Three Bears Nursery. She started in September 2021 when she was nine months old and is now moving up to Big Bears. I would highly recommend the nursery to any prospective parents. The staff are so gentle and have really helped to bring out
the best in our daughter; she seems so happy there and is always very excited to go in on a morning.

Great nursery for our two-year-old daughter. She loves going and her key worker is fantastic. They have taught her so many skills and do regular messy play which is always a hit with her!
Management is very helpful and flexible. Very happy with the nursery.

I would recommend Three Bears Nursery to anyone. They are incredible. Our daughter has been attending nursery since she was 6 months and it really is a home-from-home. We couldn't ask for anything more, they are truly an exceptional team who put the child at the centre of everything they do.

Great nursery! I feel really reassured by their care. A nice homely environment with very loving staff. Flexible to individual family needs. It doesnt feel as rigid as other nurseries where children seem to be given deadlines for things like potty training or using cutlery or dressing themselves.

Best nursery for our 2 children, they love the experience the nursery is providing them with! Recommend the nursery for other families in Leeds as both of the kids are happy going to Three Bears Nursery and enjoy developing before they start primary school.

My daughter had an amazing time from August 2020 to June 2022 in Three Bears Nursery and Preschool after moving her from a nearby nursery. All the well experienced staff were part of my daughter’s development for preparing her for her next stage (school). Honest people, dedicated, hard working, love

I feel the staff go above and beyond to help and accommodate my child's needs. The staff are fantastic in particular, in the toddler and pre-school rooms. My daughter really enjoys going here and often talks about the staff and other children at home. She is really happy here. All the staff are always
helpful and are fantastic at their jobs. My daughter has learned so much here. The outdoor play area is really good and they do loads of fun activities with the children which my daughter talks about when she gets home. You can definitely tell they are really passionate about providing a good, safe, fun nursery that helps prepare them for school. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My children have attended this nursery since 2017. We have had a very positive experience with two of our children attending over the years. We have maintained a very good relationship with the staff throughout and our children have formed strong bonds with their key workers. The management are very

Three Bears Nursery and Preschool is a perfect nursery any parent would want for their child.
I had no chance ever to complain about anything in these years.
The staff is extremely polite well trained and they love what they are doing.
I would highly recommend 3 Bears to all the parents who want
their children to be at Home away from Home
My child at the end of her nursery years as emerged out very confident loving and quite knowledgeable for her age.
We are very pleased with the whole staff, including the dinner ladies, very pleasant people.

We absolutely love the nursery. It is a great place with a great staff. They are all very friendly and super helpful. They always keep you updated on what is happening with your little. It's great that they also use an app to keep you up to date! Our little one loves it and is always excited to go!

My little boy has been attending Three Bears Nursery and Preschool for the past eighteen months and we have been very happy with the level of care he receives here. The staff are brilliant with the children and our little boy has formed some very strong bonds with his key workers. The management team
are very friendly and approachable and it is obvious how much they care about the children and the setting. I love that it is a smaller, family-run business. It definitely brings something different to the experience than what you would get with larger nursery chains.

Absolutely fantastic nursery and wonderful staff. My little boy loves it! He settled in straight away, and I was put at ease by his lovely key workers in baby bears. Nothing is too much trouble. I always get a full report on his busy day! Would wholeheartedly recommend.

My little girl loves coming to the nursery; she shouts as we are on our way to nursery in the morning and runs off ready to get in and play.
The staff and management are friendly and accommodating. Lovely seeing pictures on her journal of all the things she gets up to and detailed with what she’s
been up to that day.
Can’t recommend them enough.

My daughter has been at Three Bears now for 5-months now, and she loves it! The staff and management have been amazing; she’s settled so well, her learning journey is filled with activities of her own interests and a real variety of engaging activities. She loves attending and will now run in shouting
her key worker's names, you definitely get a real sense of a 'home from home' environment here. There is nothing that’s never too much; they’ve been accommodating and more than happy to support us with my daughter's dietary requirements.
