Three Bears Nursery and Preschool is a family run private day nursery set in far Headingley/West Park in North Leeds. The nursery was first established in 2005 and has since grown to the 50 place nursery it is today. The team at Three Bears place the happiness, safety and development of every child at the centre of everything, from the daily care routines, to the Key Person system, the array of different outdoor play spaces, weekly activities and healthy seasonal menus.

Three Bears Nursery is a registered childcare provider with OFSTED Early Years. Their latest Ofted inspection was carried out on 7 December 2021 when they were graded a 'Good' Provider in all areas.

The nursery is located at 226 Otley Road en-route to Headingley 2 minutes from Leeds Beckett Headingley campus and 10 minutes from University of Leeds. There is a large onsite car park making drop-offs and pickups as easy as possible for parents.

We love Three Bears Nursery and Preschool. It is a home from home for my three year old and she absolutely loves it. I know she is safe, well looked after and enjoying herself which eases the mum guilt a lot.
The children get lovely food, they have indoor and outdoor play spaces and play out whatever
the weather. I am so happy I chose Three Bears Nursery for my daughter.

Three Bears Nursery is wonderful. The staff are superb and really care about all of the children. My daughter runs in happily every day and clearly has a lot of fun there. The nursery provides a great range of activities including baking, messy play, outdoor play and much more. Three Bears has such

Our daughter has attended Three Bears for over two-and-a-half years and has only had fantastic experiences at the setting. She has formed amazing bonds with the team and I feel they all know and care about her dearly. The nursery has a great approach to play and learning with a huge variety of activities
and resources. Rooms are updated regularly with different purposes and equipment to ensure the experiences are new and exciting. We feel we are part of a close Three Bears family and already feel sad at the thought of moving into primary school next year!

Wonderful nursery setting, a home from home for my daughter. The staff are all engaging and caring, my daughter doesn't stop talking about them when she comes home. We are very happy with the learning, activities and stimulation on a daily basis. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to other families.

Wonderful family environment that is nurturing and caring. My children love attending Three Bears and every member of staff is like an extension of our family. They spend lots of time educating and encouraging children socially, emotionally and cognitively. A great use of the curiosity approach helps
to develop well-rounded, independent and emotionally literate young people. Only downside is one day my children have to leave this incredible setting.

Absolutely brilliant, love the family atmosphere the nursery creates and the flexibility too. Both my children are settled and thoroughly enjoy their nursery days. Staff in both Baby Bears and Big Bears are great and everyone including management knows the children well.

We have seen our son thrive since joining 3 Bears. Each month we see his confidence growing and we are so grateful to everyone at 3 Bears. We know we can approach anyone at any time and we will be listened to. It is a big deal leaving your children with people you don't know and we have always felt

The entire team are outstanding! My daughters have settled in since day one and created great relationships with every member of the team. Both our children have attended Three Bears over what has been a 5-year family relationship with the nursery. We have been delighted both with the level of care and attention shown by the nursery staff and our children's enjoyment attending the setting. We have also been very happy with their child
development strategies that our kids have most certainly benefited from. We can also not speak highly enough of the management who were consistently understanding and always tried to support our family in any way possible (including through extensive COVID support and ad-hoc requests for flexibility with swapping days when required).

This is a lovely nursery with a genuine family feel. All of the staff are great and care about the children. The nursery manager is so friendly and will always try to help you when she can (e.g. having to swap days at short notice).
I got a good feeling as soon as we visited this nursery and I haven't
been disappointed.

Our child has had a lovely time at Three Bears - we believe the standard of teaching/learning is top notch and the staff are excellent in every regard. Our child had a number of dietary requirements which Three Bears were able to adhere to and we've had no problems whatsoever. Overall, we're very happy

My son started Three Bears in May 2022 (2 years old) and I couldn't be more pleased with how he is settled and how he loves the staff.
The staff are absolutely brilliant and the nursery has a great atmosphere and family feel. I was quite worried about his development but some members of the staff
have reassured me he is completely fine. He does attend Monday-Wednesday but I can tell how he looks forward to his days.
I love how we are kept updated through the app with pictures and little reports of how he is doing. The staff are very communicative and always take into consideration my requests and worries.
I can't wait for him to attend full-time and not looking forward to him leaving.

Our little boy started at Three Bears Nursery in August when I was returning to work after maternity leave. He settled in instantly and he absolutely adores his key worker and all of the staff seem genuinely interested in interacting with both him and ourselves whenever they have the opportunity. Our
little boy is thriving and I definitely feel like a lot of credit has to be given to all the staff at Three Bears who are doing such an amazing job at supporting him.
