Kids Planet Austhorpe

My son attends Austhorpe kids planet two days a week and since joining rising 3's, he looks forward to going and throughout enjoys his time spent there. The staff are always friendly and approachable. Would recommend this lovely nursery to other parents.

Fantastic nursery. We feel so lucky our daughter got a place here and are excited for our son to join the nursery family in February. Staff are professional and friendly. They know their children well and are excited, alongside the children, when informing us about the fun they have had during the day! The management team are amazing and are completely on top of everything they need to be!

My son has attended Austhorpe Kids Planet for just over a year and started when he was 1. The nursery is quite simply amazing! The staff care for my son so well and build relationships. They communicate really well with us as parents about his day. My son has been in the babies room, tots and now toddlers and all 3 have been fan! His speech, manners, confidence etc has all been shaped massively by him attending. They encourage his independence loads. It was a scary thing for me to leave my son after being off with him on maternity leave but the staff here made the transition so smooth. My son shouts bye mummy with a big smile on his face each morning and then tells me all the fun things he's done when I collect him at the end of the day.

It's friendly and child centric and I am so happy we chose to send our son here. I highly recommend!

My little girl has recently started at Kids Planet Austhorpe, she has come on so much in a short space of time, the staff are so welcoming and friendly and you feel reassured when you drop them off that they are in safe hands.

I am so pleased we choose Austhorpe for my little boys nursery. Settled in brilliantly in January and had made so much progress. He gets so excited in a morning when we arrive and it settles me knowing he is happy and enjoys he his days. The staff are fantastic.

Lovely nursery and friendly, competent staff! Our daughter has just started at Kids Planet, Austhorpe and we couldn't be happier with our journey so far; from initially viewing the nursery nearly 18 months ago to revisiting more recently for her settling in sessions and starting her full days over the last week, the staff have made the transition as seamless as possible for us so far. There has always been someone on hand to answer any questions we have had, which hugely reassures us we have made a great choice. Our daughters key workers are brilliant and are quickly getting to know her, showing the care, time and attention spent with each child. Really happy with our nursery journey so far and can't wait to see how she grows and develops!

My daughter has recently started attending the nursery and I am pleased with how she has settled. I feel this is due to warm and friendly staff. My daughter seems happy to talk to the staff about worries. She seems to have had fun when I collect her and tells me about what she has learnt. I was impressed to hear that they had a visitor to the nursery to teach her about African culture.

Our experience with Kids Planet Austhorpe has been amazing. From day one, the staff have been incredibly kind, supportive, and attentive, making the settling-in process smooth and stress-free. Staff genuinely care for all children and support parents.

My daughter has been coming to Kids Planet Austhorpe since she was 7 months old and is now 3, she loves going every day and gets so excited. The management team are amazing and will go above and beyond to help you. The staff in the rising 3 room have been amazing with my little girl, and she has come on so much and has become very confident. I can't thank all the staff enough for taking good care of my little girl.

Great nursery, always playing with children and engaging with them, have a range of activities. My little boy was nervous at first but very quickly felt comfortable with the staff which made him less nervous to go and now he gets excited to go to nursery. All the staff know the children's names even if they are in different rooms. They've had him try a range of different foods that he wouldn't try at home, and he's come on loads since attending the nursery.

The girls in both rooms (toddlers and preschool) have been amazing with my two girls, one starting from moving from another nursery and my other girl's first time at nursery. Everyone has been welcoming and are helping the girls settle in! Thank you

We have only been coming to this nursery for the past couple of months but I do nothing but rave about it when people ask. The staff are so lovely and my child always gets excited when we talk about nursery. My personal favourite thing is the app where they update your child's development and tell you about their day including pictures and activities. Very informative, I look forward to it each time he visits.

My son has been attending the Austhorpe Kids Planet baby room for a couple of months now, and we as a family are so happy with how he’s settled and how much he seems to have bonded with the staff. The app is very informative and helps reassure us through the day that he is settled. Would highly recommend Kids Planet.

My little boy is in the baby room which he has been for just over a month now and he has settled in so well! The first two weeks were really hard for me as my baby would cry at drop off, but after seeing all of the lovely pictures of him playing and exploring, I can see that he is really enjoying it now! I'd like to say a big thank you to all who have been a big part of his settling in journey so far, it's made me feel more at ease about coming back to work, knowing that I don't have to worry.

My son has attended this nursery from the young age of 10 months. He started off in the babies room where he was cared for exceptionally well. My mind was put at ease by the knowledge and commitment from the staff. He then moved up a class into tots and this is when I could really see how much he learns at this nursery and how much he enjoys his time there. His diary is updated with plenty of pictures from activities throughout the day. The senior and staff in tots were phenomenal. I was always informed of anything they felt was important. He really has grown up and I believe that is from the guys in tots. He is now in toddlers, where he enjoys plenty of fun activities and every visit his diary is full of pictures along with a very detailed log of daily care. This helps me as a parent to understand what happens and if he is enjoying himself. My child loves the food and often has two portions! The management are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. Always there in times of need!

Our youngest has multiple food allergies and eczema and they handle her daily needs and care with patience, understanding and diligence. Each time she moves to a new room, we have a meeting and discuss her care plan. They go above and beyond to keep her safe and us reassured of how they do this. Their attention to detail is amazing. The rooms are stimulating and creative- I see different activities and crafting projects each time I drop off and pick up. Our daughter’s language has developed at pace since she started and at home, she shows off the new songs she has learned! We like that there is a feeling of openness and transparency with windows into each room from the corridor. The atmosphere is friendly and staff who don’t work in our daughter’s room still know her name and say hello. Without hesitation, I would recommend this nursery.

I can honestly say that Kids Planet Austhorpe (formerly Sunbeams) have been nothing short of amazing with my daughter as she's progressed from room to room. The staff in each room are courteous, knowledgeable and have a great (natural) way with the children, especially during drop off/pick up which can be very stressful for little ones. My only negative is that I notice that the odd lunch / tea menu choice being the reverse of what I'd give at home, e.g. cold meal for lunch, hot meal for tea but this is rare. The reports are great as they cover all manner of my daughter's development. If I have any questions about anything the staff do their utmost to respond within a day.

My daughter is always happy to attend nursery. She is currently in the infant room, and all of the staff have made sure that my daughter is well cared for; she is very happy here, which shows when I collect her as she doesn’t want to leave. Having this care has made my transition back to work a lot easier.
