The Mosaic Centre has four base rooms and a large outdoor play area which can be accessed from each room allowing children to free flow between the indoor and outdoor areas. With an emphasis on learning through play, children are encouraged to build communication skills and perception of self to be able to express their needs and feelings.

By forming strong bonds with the children, Key Carers ensure the children feel safe to explore their interests to reach their potential.

The Mosaic Centre is open 52 weeks of the year, 7am- 6pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). They are registered for up to 70 children per day from the ages of 3 months to 5 years and offer Full/Half days and flexible places.

The Mosaic Centre accepts Childcare Vouchers, Tax Free Childcare, Education Grant for eligible 2, 3, and 4-year-olds and can offer a 10% NHS Discount plus an exclusive Salary Sacrifice Scheme to some NHS Employees which could save a further 36%.

I've had a good experience with the nursery but I feel they can improve on cleanliness which is good at the moment. My baby loves it and has improved cognitively and is more social, the staff are friendly too and care for her.

Amazing staff, the little one is very settled and happy. Had no issues getting her settled in, the staff are always helpful with any questions and I know I'm leaving her in capable hands when I go to work. She has learned loads since being there.

The nursery has always been so accommodating. My little boy started in Aug/Sep 2023 and I was very anxious about this. The staff were very reassuring me and ensured I did enough settling in days. My son was only around 14 months at this time but due to their hospitality, he settled in nicely within
2 weeks. The staff never made me feel like a nuisance whenever I called to check in they were very warm towards me. My son loves it there now and is developing very nicely.

Both my children have attended Mosaic and have had the most wonderful time. They are always happy to go and love spending time there. The staff are amazing - so caring, enthusiastic and great at communicating. I feel very lucky that my children have built such great relationships with them and have
fond memories that will be cherished forever.

A kind and caring nursery. Lots of time for messy play. I feel very comfortable sending my child there and know he is well looked after. Nice outdoor area. Staff friendly and attentive to individual needs.

Both my children have attended the Mosaic Centre and have been very happy there, developing an array of social and practical skills. Because of this, my eldest has integrated into school life easily, making new friends and being able to perform the activities relatively independently. My youngest still
attends and although she was shy at first, due to lockdown, her confidence has grown significantly, we will be very sad when she leaves.
The staff are very down to earth and approachable and the childcare hours available are flexible.

Mosaic Nursery and all the staff really are amazing. All very welcoming smiley and helpful. My son has attended from 11 months of age and has settled from day one. My little boy has additional needs and the staff have been so supportive from taking on education/training sessions for him to just being
mindful of his needs on a daily basis and making him feel nurtured and settled, while also encouraging his development at his own pace. From the layout of the rooms to the outdoor space it has everything you could need/want from a nursery and the fact they have a 7am start is always great for an early working mother like me. I would definitely recommend this nursery to family and friends etc and is great value for money also.

From day one this nursery, staff and management have been fantastic with my son. From starting, they always offered support and advice and didn’t mind me ringing to check and make sure my son was okay. He’s now been there nearly two years and is thriving. He has made good friends and seems to be coming
on really well. The online system for pictures and updates is great but just needs to be more timely as it’s always delayed. Still lovely to see what he’s been doing though. My son always comes home happy and telling me all about his day. Management were also a great support during Covid-19.

I was very reassured and pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of the team when my son started nursery at thirteen months old. They took a lot of care to settle him in and communicate with us. He has been there over a year and is always happy to attend and seems to have a great time, as
he's in great spirits when he comes out. I like that they go outdoors every day where possible. It's great that they open at 7 am to accommodate parent's working hours better. I think that the parents app could be more reliable. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, we have not had access to the building or outdoor play area to see where he plays or to talk to staff as easily as before.

I can't recommend and praise the teachers at Mosaic Nursery enough. My son is 2, he has been with them for a year and a half. His teacher and his key worker in particular have put so much in place to help and support him. The facilities are great and well kept and the outside space is so spacious. My
second son is due to start with them next month and I can't wait. I am so glad I have found them.

We have found mosaic very friendly, welcoming and caring. Our son has settled in brilliantly as the staff have been so approachable and allowed him to develop his own personality with his peers. We would recommend this nursery to any parents and only have positive things to say about it. Thank you.

I would highly recommend Mosaic nursery. My daughter has been there for 8 months now and loves it. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to help children and parents alike. I am kept up to date with my daughter's progress with regular updates on the app. The early opening (7am) is fantastic
for me, as a health care worker who starts work at 8am. I would have really struggled with childcare without this.

On collection, my child is always smiling and laughing which makes me so content and puts my mind at ease whilst I’m working that he’s not sad at nursery. Unfortunately, due to COVID, I was unable to visit so apart from the few pictures on the site - I don’t know what the inside looks like so will try
to answer the rest of the questions as best as I can. I can see such a development in his words in the short time he has attended. Staff are always polite and friendly.

Extremely happy with the care, attention and education my daughter is receiving at Mosaic. Not to mention value for money.
Even though we are obviously not the only ones with our child there, I feel like we are given a personal service and all our feedback/correspondence acknowledged and actioned promptly.
Highly
recommend.

Current Review Score: 8.5 (8.524)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.5 (8.524) out of 10 for Mosaic Centre is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.9 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.667 for Mosaic Centre is calculated as follows: ( (41 Excellents x 5) + (18 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 4.667
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.857 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Mosaic Centre is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 70 number of registered child places is 14. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 14 = 0.357
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
