Partou Lidgett Lane Day Nursery & Pre-School

Since commencing the nursery in 2024, my grandson has been really happy and settled. Staff are lovely and make him feel very welcome. Activities appear to be geared towards inclusivity for children of all abilities. The outdoor area is small but adequate and time outside happens most days. My grandson has progressed really well in all areas of his development. I would recommend the nursery.

I'm very satisfied. I do not give opinions on food because I'm guided only by the opinion of my child, who, as you know, from the very beginning wanted to eat only home-made food. I also don't want to give an opinion about money because for us it's only a few hours a day (3 times a week), so the opinions can only be expressed by those who have full hours and thus benefit from all the benefits of this nursery. I'm very grateful to the entire team, especially Mistica for helping us in our difficult mornings. The team headed by the lady from the office (Serena) is a very well coordinated group. The atmosphere is very homely. You are great at what you do, and Mistica is a very creative person. My daughter loves you and your ideas. Best regards, Mom, from Maja :)

The staff are always excellent. Very friendly. My grandson really enjoys going everyday. The rooms are well equipped. It was very hot today so he was very pleased they have Air Conditioning! He loves all the activities particularly Dancing!

The staff always let you know on pick up how your child's day has been & what they have been up to.

Staff are excellent and very caring for the children. Regular management help with structure of the facility and allows careworkers to focus on providing the best care for the children. A few updates on facilities for the children such as outdoor provision would be welcomed.

The Mother's Day picnic was super cute. Granny went and was very happy with what she saw, and we both got flowers to take home. My daughter lives the staff which really makes taking her into nursery much easier. Every works really hard at Lidgett Lane.

Our son started in the baby room in January 2026 and we could not be happier with our nursery choice. The staff are cheerful and give us updates each day when we collect our son. We love how many pictures and comments we get through the parent app each day. Our son is very happy at nursery and has made great progress since he started. He enjoys coming in each day and has the opportunity to do lots of different activities linked to his interests and also to cultural celebrations. He sleeps well and we are pleased with the food the nursery serves. We would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents. Thanks for all your hard work at Lidgett Lane Nursery!

We're so happy with this nursery, we're confident our son is well looked after and has formed a lovely bond with all of the staff members. His development is coming along brilliantly and we love the updates we get throughout the day.

Our daughter started nursery in January and we have been really impressed with Lidgett Lane nursery. She has formed attachments to her nursery team who are passionate, caring and attentive. She is especially fond of her key person who is great with her.

It is wonderful to see all the creative and explorative activities they do throughout the day. The children follow a consistent daily routine and our daughter has even begun to bring some of these home, such as using cutlery and independently choosing a book and coming to sit on our lap.

The nursery team have been excellent at keeping us informed on our daughter's progress and daily activities, and have involved us in her learning through invitations to events such as Valentine's and Mother's Day, which has been very special.

The whole nursery team have been friendly and accommodating from the start and work hard to maintain a nurturing and stimulating environment in which our daughter is thriving. Thank you!

My son started at this nursery in January. I was really hesitant to leave him, however within a couple of days he started enjoying coming to school. I am grateful to the teachers and management for accommodating him. I would recommend the nursery to other parents as well.

We are very happy with Lidgett Lane Nursery. From day one, the staff has impressed us with their genuine passion and friendly approach. They are exceptionally engaged and attentive to our son's specific needs, which means the world to us.

We placed our son in Lidgett Lane Day Nursery under rather stressful circumstances and quite nervous, after the unforeseen shut down of his nursery. However even throughout the walk around before committing, we got the very homely/family feel from the setting and could see the care and dedication from the staff, with all children looking comfortable. We were made aware through open and honest communication that the outdoor space did need work and was awaiting funding, which is fair. Our son very quickly settled in and runs to several members of staff with arms wide open! The communication always seems good, and even though there are days you have different staff in the room, the communication has remained with a consistent approach to our sons vegan diet - which has been accepted and accommodated well right from the start with no issues. Seeing our son so happy and thriving is confirmation of the dedication shown by the staff, and the energy they put in every single day!

My son has been attending this nursery since the start of the January term. I was apprehensive at the start as I was not sure how he would settle in, but the staff have been nothing but fantastic in helping making this process easier for us. We get regular updates throughout the day and overall feedback at the end of the day when we go to collect him. Overall, he is settling in very well, showing signs of development and enjoys all the activities they offer especially playing outside! The staff are really lovely, welcoming and very friendly and the management is fantastic!

We have seen a noticeable improvement in the recent care at the nursery since the issues over the last two years. Things can go exceptionally well when long-standing staff are on a shift, but there isn't a deputy who would take on responsibilities in the same way. There is more concern for value for money. The experience in Toddler and Pre-school needs to improve. There used to be trips to the park, the woods, the library but they have been missing in recent years. For the money we pay, we expect a wide variety of learning opportunities to be on offer, as we got more for money five years ago and the rate was cheaper!

I enrolled my child at the start of the year and the staff have been so welcoming! My child's settled in so well, and in just a few short weeks they were excited to be dropped off and now throw themselves into staffs arms at drop off. One staff member in particular has been fantastic and has bonded so well with them that when we use her name at home, it always elicits a smile.

Well organised Nursery setting. Friendly and respectful Staffs. Clean and tidy environment always. My daughter love every minutes she goes in, Nursery environment feels homely. My daughter's learning is getting better

Honestly cannot fault the staff/setting at all. My boy has flourished so much since joining. So welcoming and helpful with any enquiries I ever have. So accommodating. Two particular ladies' best team ever!

It is coming to a year since we've placed our little boy with Partou Lidgett Lane Day Nursery & Pre-School. If I can give more than 5 stars, I would. It isn't just about the friendly faces that greet us each time we drop or pick him up, it is the overall care they have given to my son. My son has severe eczema and as parents, even we find the routine of keeping his skin moisturised tedious. This routine will have to obviously continue when he is at nursery, and all I can say is the staff at Partou are dedicated in ensuring he gets exactly that. When I drop him off, I never have to worry about his time there. My son enjoys his days at nursery (especially the outdoors) and I am kept informed and updated of this each day; from various activities promoting diversity to scrumptious meals. It is nice to find a nursery where the care and happiness of one child is their utmost importance. They have also been very flexible and accommodating with any extra needs and care requested. I would definitely recommend.
