Cliffe House Day Nursery Horsforth

We have been part of Cliffe House for over 5 years. Our eldest attended and is now at school...doing fantastic due to the care and nurturing he received at nursery and our youngest is 2 and currently attends. Both boys have loved every single day spent there. The activities are exciting, fun and full of learning. The University grounds are great too with so much space. The team are amazing. Every member of staff that you meet, either well known or from a different room is welcoming, friendly and bends down to say hello to your child. We recommend the nursery to everyone and genuinely couldn't be happier.

I would highly recommend this nursery and unlike so many others, it has a unique setting in a university campus so away from busy roads and there is lots of outdoor space for play and walks!

We are so pleased with the care our child receives at Cliffe House Nursery, Horsforth. He is so well looked after, really enjoys the wide variety of toys, games and activities on offer and has made lots of friends. It is obvious how much each of the staff care for the children they look after at the nursery and you are made to feel so welcome by them when you are there as a parent too which is lovely. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery!

I have two children currently at the nursery and another who attended before them. I can not recommend the nursery enough, both the room staff and the manager are fantastic. They have supported my family and shown my girls so much love and care over the years. They enjoy going to nursery so much and I can leave them knowing they are going to have a great day and be well looked after. Thanks to all the amazing people at Cliffe House Trinity x

Great setting, my little boy loves going. The nursery are also really flexible if they have space. The staff are great.

My little boy is extremely happy at Cliffe House. We were worried about how he might settle but he has had no issues at all thanks to the care and dedication of the team in his room. Everyone seems to know him really well and they always speak confidently about what he has been up to. All the staff we come into contact with are friendly and helpful. Very happy with the setting.

Cliffe House is a fabulous establishment for our boys. Everyone is so friendly and they clearly love what they do. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always willing to go above and beyond. A caring and friendly environment for little ones to be nurtured as they grow. The staff build excellent relationships with the children through a range of activities and one to one play. From messy play to walks around the campus, a fun day is enjoyed by all. The staff take the time to get to know each individual child and tailor their care around the specific needs and preferences of the child. It makes leaving your baby that little bit easier. Our son attends for two full days a week and really enjoys his time at nursery. He settled in really quickly and is happy to be dropped off. He is a really energetic baby so the wide variety of activities keep him occupied and happy. He has tried many new foods and has helped his independent eating come on leaps and bounds.

We have used Cliffe House Trinity for both our children since 2014 and are extremely happy with the care provision that they have both received. All members of staff that we have encountered throughout our journey at Cliffe House have been welcoming, friendly, professional and both my children have felt safe and secure in the setting. Communication between staff and parents is excellent and they have been extremely helpful and supportive when we have needed it. We very much feel part of the Cliffe House family and will be very sad when our youngest has to leave!

Staff have always been very welcoming, kind, happy and keen to make sure my boy has a good time. Most mornings he willingly goes into the arms of a staff member. It all seems well organised and sounds like the kids have new and interesting activities to do each day.

My little boy has been attending Cliffe House since he was 10 months old and has developed and learned so much. He absolutely loves it. The staff are so caring and attentive. The communication and openness from management is outstanding. They do so many activities with them, making sure they get indoor and outdoor time. They always check-in and out with you at the beginning and end of the day.

We have been really happy with Cliffe House at Trinity University and have used it with both our children. The staff care so much about the children: their kindness enthusiasm and friendliness cannot be underestimated. They take a genuine interest in the development of your child. The range of activities is excellent and the base on the campus allows for so much scope for them to get out and about. One day when I was called to collect my youngest as he had a high temperature one staff member was on the floor with him fast asleep in her arms just waiting as long as it took for me to arrive, what a place and what a team.

Our daughter loves nursery and has developed so much from attending. The staff are amazing and so caring and help to build our daughter's confidence and creativeness with all the activities she is involved in. She is always happy to be there and always has a great time, she especially enjoys messy play and the adventures they have outside which involves looking for wildlife and running on the running track. Amazing nursery and would recommend to anyone.

I wouldn't want my children to be at any other nursery than here we just love it and all the amazing staff.

The manager is fantastic, I followed her from the nursery I used for my eldest child. She keeps me well informed and is very approachable. My daughters key worker is also very good and updates me regularly and I am happy to discuss any behaviour issues. The food is varied and she has plenty of snacks. Major events, Chinese New Year are covered with food and craft work. I am updated daily on food consumption and activities. I do think the staff should have a name badge on, as the newer members of staff do not introduce themselves so you don't know who they are. Overall its a great nursery, brill management and staff.

I've had three children attend this nursery over the last 8 years - my youngest having started at just 4 months old, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The staff and the care they give is first class, it is not easy as a mum leaving your children in someone else's care but Cliffe House certainly have my trust. My children are confident, clever and well behaved and I have to thank the nursery for their part in my children's development.

My son is very happy and settled at Cliffe House and we have noticed he has grown independence. The staff genuinely care about him and respond to his needs.
