The Academy @ Almondbury offers children an exciting space to play and learn in, with caring staff who are fully qualified, including four at degree level. Children are encouraged to spend lots of time outside during their nursery day and activities often take place in the Mud Kitchen and Vegetable Garden.


Inside, a range of age appropriate rooms have been fitted with resources and toys that will help children develop both socially and emotionally and educationally.

We find our son is very happy coming to nursery. He is happy turning up in a morning and doesn't want to leave when I pick him up so that tells me he's very happy when he's here. Both me and his mother find all the staff nice and welcoming. As our son needs extra care we certainly feel like he is getting
it so we're both very happy.

My daughter has been attending The Academy for just over a year and we all as a family love the nursery so much. All the staff went above and beyond to help my daughter settle in and make her feel loved and welcome.
My daughter gets to experience a wide range of activities at The Academy and she especially
loves practicing for concerts.

My child really enjoys coming to this nursery so much so he jumps out of the door in the morning looking forward to hi breakfast.
The staff of the nursery make the biggest difference, they are so friendly and welcoming and take really good care ensuring my child is engaged all day.
He loves the food
(all home-cooked) eats it all and especially loves playing in the sand and painting. Great work guys - keep up the good work!

Excellent communication from all staff members, warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and parents. My daughter always has fun and things to talk about, plus pictures, cards and crafty things relating to what's going on eg. Christmas, Valentine's.

The Academy @ Almondbury is a fantastic nursery. My little boy has thrived since starting in May 2019, his crawling and walking and his speech have come on leaps and bounds. The staff are fabulous they really are so friendly and caring. I would recommend this nursery to anyone 10/10!

My daughter loves coming to nursery and she has improved so much since starting. The nursery staff are amazing as they keep me up to date and inform me of everything my daughter is developing in and what she has enjoyed doing throughout the day. I have three children that have all been to nursery but
this nursery is the best one by far, making me feel so relaxed knowing she is settled and developing so well.

My son loves coming to nursery. He has lots of fun. The current nursery manager has been very supportive. She will be very much missed and the deputy manager is also missed - both two lovely people. My son loves coming to The Academy. The staff are fantastic and take a genuine interest in my son and his development as well as getting to know us as a family. My son has amazed me with the things he has learnt from the Academy and has made some great relationships with the adults and children. I believe
this is due to the quality of staff and ethos of the nursery.
