Banana Moon Day Nursery Mirfield

Banana moon has given my niece so much confidence since starting. Every time I collect her she has a different story to tell me of the activities she has done, the food she has eaten and always has a smile on her face. They take time to get to know my niece's likes and dislikes and really make a fuss of the achievements made. Thank you to all the staff who make Banana Moon such a warm welcoming home from home for children.

I can't praise Banana Moon Mirfield more. Our daughter started nursery in January at a very young age (5.5 months). As a first time mother I was obviously anxious at first to leave my child, but all the team made the transition seamless. Our daughter has bonded enormously with the caring staff in the baby room, particularly her key person, and she looks forward to attending everyday with no upset at drop off. All the staff are extremely friendly and keep us up to date throughout the day. They organize varied playtime and sensory activities everyday, including outdoor playtime and sometimes trips out. Whenever I contact the office/accounts team they always respond quickly and provide any information we need. The only constructive feedback I can provide is that information on the app could be improved as sometimes we get informed she has eaten most food on the app but verbally told she hasn't eaten much at pick up. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this nursery to anyone considering!

One thing that for us sets this nursery apart from others is how they go above and beyond. Whether it's a trip to the park or a out of hours bonfire evening, there always thinking of nice things to do for the children

I've sent my children to multiple nurseries, Banana Moon Day Nursery Mirfield is by far the best one we have attended. The care and quality of looking after children is amazing. They also have breakfast and afterschool clubs that cater to multiple local schools with exceptional staff who goes above and beyond.

This is such an amazing nursery. The staff go over and above every day to make the children happy. My son has attended Banana Moon Day Nursery Mirfield for 18 months and loves it. The daily activities and effort that goes into the setting is 10 out of 10.

Since my daughter has been attending Banana Moon Nursery she has come along so well, she absolutely loves attending and I know that she is happy and safe. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, they've always been accommodating with my daughter and her food intolerances and always go the extra mile to make her feel welcome and comfortable.

A really caring nursery. Our daughter was in a spica cast and they were really accommodating throughout a really stressful period. I am sure there were a few hurdles for them to cross but they only wanted to help and they were brilliant.

My child has absolutely thrived at this nursery over the past eighteen months. All staff are kind and caring. They take time to get to know all children and parents and the communication has always been great. Thank you to all staff members for all you do.

Since my son started at Banana Moon Day Nursery Mirfield a couple of years ago, he has flourished and loved every minute of it, every day he can’t wait to go to nursery! The staff have always been so welcoming, caring, understanding and accommodating to the both of us. Always making sure my son feels happy and comfortable when he’s there, that all of his emotional and physical needs are met and that every worry or concern I’ve had, as a first-time mother, is dealt with kindness and understanding. The building is always full of smiles and laughter from both the children and staff and I always feel happy leaving my son there, knowing he’s so happy himself to be there. You can just tell that everyone who works at the setting loves what they do! This year my son will go on to reception but overall, from him starting here up until his last year, I haven’t got a single negative thing to say. It’s been a positive and lovely experience for us both throughout the years.

My son has been at the nursery for almost a year now. It didn't take him long at all to get used to being at the nursery and he now really enjoys going and when we pick him up he's in no hurry to leave. He's come on leaps and bounds and is learning new things every day. He enjoys the activities, toys and playing with his friends, eats all his food (variety of which is great) and gets plenty of cuddles if he needs them. The staff are very kind and understanding towards the children as well as the parents. I feel he is in a safe, fun and loving environment and I couldn't have asked for more.

I was met by a smiling staff member who took my name and the names of my grandchildren. She knew I would be collecting. Spacious and clean entrance. I saw a number of staff as I made my way to collect each child and they were all smiling and welcoming which made me feel comfortable. As a grandparent who does not visit on a regular basis, it can be daunting but I felt if I needed to ask for support or a question I would not feel like I was being a nuisance, even though they would have been busy. All children looked happy and engaged or asleep in teenie moons room.

I can't thank Banana Moon enough for the help and support we get from them and I would recommend to everyone.

Granddaughter feels safe and loves coming to nursery. She loves all the staff and has many friends that she loves playing with. She loves the outdoor space and the food is delicious she tells us. Fantastic care and attention with every child in their care.

My daughter goes to nursery 3 days a week and loved it. She's always happy to go in and see her friends and the staff. She has come on so much with the support of the nursery in both Mini Moons and now in Full Moons. We love getting to see exactly what our daughter is doing every day via the app and it's nice for us to be able to add things from home too. The food she eats is very good and varied too. Would definitely recommend Banana Moon Mirfield.

Our daughter has been coming for 16 months. We have noticed a huge improvement in her in that time. The staff are very thorough and communicative. I could not recommend Banana Moon highly enough.
