Fixbees Day Care has been an established early years setting since 1993. It offers a warm and homely environment and caters for children from birth to five years old.
Fixbees prides itself on offering a high standard of care where staff are both passionate and knowledgeable in early years care.
Staff ensure they work in very close partnership with parents and carers and their practices are kept to an optimum level in regard to care, quality and health and safety. Staff engage with families well and they support them in all their home learning, social events and outings.
Fixbees Day Care has 2-year-old 15 hours of free childcare available for eligible families, government funding for 3 & 4-year-olds and also 30 hours funding for working parents.
Children are given lots of opportunity to get creative in the outdoors, with woodwork, loose parts play and caring for the fruit and vegetables which are grown every year.
Adopting the curiosity approach, the team encourage children's natural curiosity by promoting engagement with everyday items rather than modern toys and technology.
Menus are planned in house and children, parents and staff are actively involved in this process. Good quality, fresh, wholesome ingredients are used to prepare meals. The nursery supports local suppliers where reasonably practical and cater for a variety of special diets.
If you'd like to find out more, please contact the team at Fixbees Day Care via phone call or email.

About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 51 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 51 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 22.4 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

Myself and my daughter have had an amazing experience at Fixbees. This is down to the staff and management who have been like family. Any queries, issues or concerns have always been looked into and resolved promptly. I have been that mum who called, texted and probably a little too much but was never made to feel that. My daughter has developed into a confident, smart and articulate little girl thanks to the nursery activities, learning and fun trips. Thanks Fixbees.

All 3 of my children attend Fixbees nursery and I have always felt extremely happy with the education and care they receive. The staff are very friendly and create close bonds with the children. My eldest is in preschool and she is thriving in her development. My youngest two are in the baby room and are always happy and content at both drop off and pick up time. The activities they do are varied and fun and they have all developed friendships and life skills. I feel comfortable in knowing my children are safe and happy at this nursery.

It was my nieces first day at this nursery on Tuesday 22nd April. 9 months old. Unfortunately my niece suffered a burn whilst in the care of the baby staff. Utterly sickening quite disgraced at the fact no first aid was given nor was the parents notified of this serious incident. She was left in this injury until her mum picked up to which she noticed this incident. She was dropped of at 8.30 and picked up at 5.30pm between those hours she had this incident and no one was informed. Extremely disgusted. No words to express how we all are feeling as a family.
