The Little School House Nursery & Preschool

My daughter loves coming to nursery, the staff always make her feel special by showing they are excited to see her. The staff are great at communication, and always keep us updated on her routine throughout the day. I feel my daughter's development has been aided by the encouragement of the staff. They are always doing fun activities with the kids, and management go above and beyond what I expected in terms of answering my queries. They are also very vigilant with allergens and dietary requirements, and safeguarding of the kids from what I’ve seen.

My little girl attends here and she skips in there with a massive smile on her face, the staff are brilliant with her, a go to nursery for anyone. The nursery is a very warm and welcoming place, keep up the hard work for all involved, be sad to leave.

Absolutely fantastic day nursery, the staff are unbelievable and so friendly, my twin girls' faces light up every time we pull up to nursery and they see the staff at handover. Couldn’t recommend them enough, keep it up girls, you all do an amazing job!

My middle daughter attended The Little School House Nursery & Preschool who is now 10. My youngest daughter now attends The Little School House as I know how amazing it is. She started in the baby room and is now in preschool. They always keep me updated with my daughter's progress. Always helpful and willing to help in any way they can. I wouldn’t take my children to any other Nursery/Preschool. Keep up the good work. You're all amazing

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 6 months old, back in Feb 2021. The entire staff from management, practitioners and even the cooks are so warm and welcoming. No question is too silly. Amazing handovers when you pick the children up. The standard of distribution of the curriculum is fantastic. My child has come on leaps and bounds during her development and I have no doubt it is because of this nursery. So thank you x

The staff here are lovely and very thoughtful. They organise lots of fun activities. Both our children have attended this nursery and our little boy is very happy there. We would recommend this nursery.

We have had our two children in the Little School House Nursery since 2018 and we have been incredibly happy with the service provided. The staff are friendly and attentive, the children have always enjoyed themselves and the fees are very reasonable. The nursery has also been very flexible and accommodating, allowing us to book extra days or swap days around when needed - something, not all nurseries do. Would highly recommend it.

Our daughter has had the best experience any parent could hope for at this nursery. From attending at 9 months through to being a big two-year-old, the staff have always been loving and excited to see her and she has walked in and out confidently every single day. As a parent, this is a huge relief to know she’s happy there and so clearly well cared for. Her development has also rocketed since attending and she often comes home with new words and skills. We’re so thankful to have this nursery on our doorstep and couldn’t recommend them enough!

Our 1-year-old started at the nursery in February. The staff are all really lovely and enthusiastic and made his settling-in period so easy for me as his mum, communicating really well with me and being so supportive of my son. Now he has settled he loves nursery. He always comes home messy from the sensory activities they do. I am really impressed with the range of things they have for him to do and love that he gets lots of outside time each day. I feel like all the staff really care about each individual child. My daughter started in Baby Room in January 2022. The staff were great at helping her settle in with lots of cuddles and reassurance. She now walks in without a backwards glance! The staff are all brilliant, they clearly really like and know my daughter and she is very happy being with them. I like that the staff and sometimes the children cross over between the rooms as I think it will make the transition to the next room really smooth. It's also great that you can choose the start and finish times within half an hour, so you are only paying for the care you need. I also like that we don't need to provide any food or nappies (if you use disposables) but for us, a big bonus is that they are happy (and good at) using our reusable nappies. They should advertise this! I would definitely recommend The Little School House.

My little boy is just finishing Pre-School and I couldn't have wished for a better nursery for him to attend. He has really enjoyed his time there and is well prepared for school. All of the staff genuinely care about the children and this was evident to see at the graduation they put on for the leavers. They were also amazing throughout the pandemic. I would definitely recommend The Little School House Nursery and Preschool.

Our little girl has been there since she was a baby and has loved it. She has made a lot of good friends and has a great basis for primary school due to her early year's education here. I really can't recommend it enough.

The Little School House is a fantastic nursery and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Our son struggled to settle in initially through Covid but the staff were wonderful and went above and beyond - they were very flexible and suggested a plan to help him settle in, which worked well. He has been there for almost a year now and he loves it. All of the staff are absolutely lovely and our son knows and loves them all - even the staff from other rooms. You can see how much they all care about the children and they communicate well with parents too, helping to work through any issues together. The extra things they do are so enriching too, from rhythm and sports sessions with external organisations to party days and themed activities. Our son is thriving there and we're very happy with his care.

Fab nursery. Hugely impressed by all of the staff, who are friendly and welcoming. Our two children seem to have really settled in the nursery and are encouraged to do the things they love doing. The keyworkers keep thorough day diaries that help us to know what they've been up to. Really relaxed environment and all the kids there seem so happy!

Our son started at the nursery two years ago and we have been really pleased with the care and support he has received throughout that time from the staff. He has forged incredibly strong bonds with the staff and it is great to see him involved in such a wide range of activities. I have also been very impressed by how the nursery have managed through Covid (certainly not an easy task!) We will be sending our second child here from September. A big thank you to all the team.

The Little School House Nursery and Preschool is an amazing nursery and highly recommended. My daughter was suffering so much with her social skills and separation anxiety, with being in lockdown but The Little School House and in particular, her key worker completely changed this. They have given her so much more confidence and encouragement and had a massive impact on her social, emotional and overall development. The staff are amazing, so kind and helpful, we couldn’t ask for a better start to our daughter's education.

The Little School House was the best option for my daughter. She began to speak English with confidence. She's left the nursery, but always talks happily about her teachers and misses them very much. The level of staff training is high, and compared to the outstanding daycare I know, The Little School House has a higher level, especially in hygiene and cleanliness. This environment is friendly, safe and well decorated. Highly recommended.

My little boy has been attending Little School House since he was 6 months old, he's now 2 1/2. He absolutely loves it. His speech is brilliant for his age and the nursery helped massively with this. All the girls are lovely and helpful. Would recommend!

The Little School House is an absolutely amazing nursery. I have been using this particular nursery for three-and-a-half years now. I have had two children with the girls in the setting. I can honestly say I wouldn't want anyone else to care for my sons. The staff in every room have been exceptional! They supported my eldest through speech and language therapy, and have gone above and beyond to settle my youngest during such a rubbish year where he was literally attached to me, he now happily walks in and waves goodbye. The management are amazing and accommodate day changes and extra hours where they can. As a parent, I feel so comfortable ringing if I want to ask anything and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. Highly recommend this nursery to anyone!
