Partou Stonehouse Day Nursery & Pre-school in Leyland is an exceptional nursery and pre-school for babies and children up to the age of five.

The nursery is set in a beautifully converted school building with spacious playrooms and a fabulous outdoor area complete with a sports field, sensory garden, vegetable patches, fruit trees and an outdoor classroom.

Children at the setting enjoy a wide range of inspirational learning activities covering all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Stonehouse Childcare's experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training.

Every team member has an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The cook at Stonehouse Childcare prepares fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day.

The nursery menu is prepared with fresh, quality ingredients that can be altered to suit any special dietary requirements.

Meals and snacks are included in the nursery's fees as well as nappies, wipes and sun cream. 15 and 30 hours funded childcare places are available for eligible families.

My son is very happy to stay all day there with his friends. He loves them. I did not believe that one day he will go with a smile on his face to the nursery where he is without me, but this happened because of the staff. They are all amazing! Thanks to all of them!

My daughter has attended Stonehouse since eight months old and has thrived in the care of the team in the Ladybird room, growing into a happy confident little girl. They treat every child as an individual and their genuine care for the happiness and development of each one is clear to see. My daughter
loves her days at nursery and I'm always greeted at pick up time by a friendly team member, ready to tell me about her activities and achievements that day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team at Stonehouse.

Stonehouse is a fantastic nursery. The staff are so lovely and really get involved with all the children at the nursery. My little girl absolutely loves her days here. We drive past and she shouts 'hello nursery'.
It has brought my little girl on so much, with manners, personality, eating and much
more.
They always have fun learning activities for the children.

I was nervous about leaving my little one at nursery due to a medical condition but the staff at Stonehouse have been so helpful and so accommodating, more than I could ever have hoped for and I can't thank them enough. Management are really friendly and approachable (very patient with panicked parents
too.)
He has come on leaps and bounds since he started, he's more confident and he asks to go to nursery all the time (even at weekends.) The staff are lovely and caring and the rooms are warm and full of different activities. Choosing Stonehouse was the best decision we made

All three of my children have attended Stonehouse and my youngest has just recently started. The time and compassion the staff give the children to help them settle in is great and I love how the children can explore the different rooms and the large outdoor space they have to offer. My older children
have both left Stonehouse now but they still talk about memories of it and how much they enjoyed their time there.

After I reviewed numerous nurseries I found Stonehouse to be the most flexible. They have resolved concerns quickly and have assisted when we've needed it (family illness) in quickly supporting us around nursery times. Their team for me is where they shine. They have been ultra-supportive and I really
appreciate the feedback on my own parenting, resolving things such as toilet training, biting, not listening etc. I'm over the moon that working together we've managed to get a very assertive and confident little man to become a happy and most of all, respective super-dude. Thanks guys.

Can’t praise the staff enough. My son started Stonehouse when he was eight months old, he’s now 14 months old and has settled in so well. He enjoys going to nursery every day and has come on loads with his manners, speech and development since being there.

My daughter, who is now four years old, attends Stonehouse nursery four days a week. In the last year or so, she has really come out of herself and looks forward to going. The staff are all extremely friendly, polite and professional on all levels. And always very thorough with safeguarding. The various
rooms at the nursery are all always clean, tidy, full of artwork, new themes and lots of useful information.
I would highly recommend Stonehouse as a great preschool.

I would recommend Stonehouse to anyone and everyone. I looked around all the nurseries in the area and none stood out until Stonehouse. It was that good compared to the rest, I panicked about the cost but was then extremely pleased to find out that it was great value for money and cheaper than others
in the area that were nowhere near the same quality. Since then my daughter absolutely loves going and I’ve got to know the staff more and more. They are all lovely and I am always delighted to see how much they care for each individual child. I was worried about putting my baby into nursery like most parents but the ladies made the transition very easy and I am now fully at ease and trust them all greatly.

Our daughter has benefited hugely over the last 13 months since attending Stonehouse, the love and care she receives from staff is wonderful. Her progress since attending has been evident particularly with speech and language. There always seems to be so much for her to do and she always looks forward
to her nursery days. We chose Stonehouse over many other nurseries we viewed as it felt the right place for our child, so much activity, lots for the children to do outside and lots of rooms for the children to explore. The recent introduction of a comprehensive menu to include breakfast and tea has been very much welcomed and has introduced new tastes to our child. Would definitely recommend this nursery a lovely environment with caring and hard-working staff.
