Bluestone Nursery, Leigh

Our son has grown up through Bluestone nursery from the baby room all the way up to pre school. From the second we entered the nursery the love and warmth of the staff really hit us. We have felt reassured, that the children are always a priority and that they are safe and well looked after. The way the nursery is managed is brilliant, the staff throughout go above and beyond. The nursery the staff at Bluestone have built is something to be proud of. Our son's interests were known, tapped into and he really has thrived. He was so well prepared for school and Bluestone played a huge part in that. The thought that goes into the activities and forest school set up is brilliant, and love how much time they spend outdoors whatever the weather. I don't know how they do it but our son would nap and eat way more food variety than he would ever at home and it takes a massive worry off parents sending their children into a childcare setting at a young age. Thank you Bluestone!

I can't speak highly enough of this nursery. The staff have been absolutely amazing, they communicate clearly and regularly, which really puts my mind at ease. I moved my son here after he struggled to settle at another nursery, and the difference has been incredible. He's happy, thriving, and excited to go every day. He especially loves the meals and the wide range of activities they offer. They have also supported my son with his speech and language, I'm so grateful for the care and support the team provides, it truly feels like the perfect place for him.

I have watched my child grow in confidence and learn lots of new things.

My little boy has attended this nursery since 9 months old up to starting school and he has always felt happy, safe and secure. It was like his second home. The staff all go above and beyond to make sure the children are content and I couldn’t be more grateful for the start they have given my little boy in life. My youngest still attends and I always recommend the nursery to anyone who is looking for childcare.

Our daughter has just left Bluestone Nursery after spending the last 3 years there. They have helped her develop into a confident girl and have encouraged her individuality. There are some amazing staff who we will miss very much. Thank you Bluestone Nursery. I will recommend you.

My son started this nursery when he was 18 months old after being pulled from another nursery and it is the best thing I have ever done. He has thrived at this nursery all the staff are absolutely amazing, so caring and loving for all the children. My child has extra additional needs and they helped me get help and support for him for school and were always so understanding of his situation. I am so impressed with this nursery that I am sending my youngest in a couple of weeks and I don't have any worries or separation anxiety as I know he will be treated like a little king. And the safe guarding in this nursery is impeccable. 100% recommend to anyone its such a wonderful place and staff are like family to us now.

An absolutely amazing nursery! All the staff are caring, approachable and kind. As a mum, I struggled alot with anxiety, and the staff have been fantastic in reassuring me when my son is at nursery. I always feel they take time to listen to me and my son. It has been amazing to watch my son build his confidence at nursery, and the staff are very proactive in helping children learn and explore. I would recommend this nursery.

This Bluestone nursery is amazing place! It was wonderful seeing my daughter get excited about going to nursery. The people who work here are fantastic. I would recommend this place to everyone with little ones.

My son attends Bluestones Nursery in the preschool room. He has very bad attachment issues and does not enjoy being away from us. But one staff member especially made him very comfortable and made the transition much calmer. He spoke about nursery a lot and told us all the many things he learnt. He loves being outside and loved that aspect of the nursery. Thank you so much for looking after my boy.

I can’t express how grateful I am of you all. You have all been really wonderful in taking care of my son and putting up with me as a nervous parent! I can’t fault how you’ve loved and cared for my son and you’ve answered all my calls and questions with empathy and patience. It is the perfect environment with welcoming smiles and lots of advice. It’s obvious that the staff work hard and strive to provide the best possible service. Yes, I pay the nursery to take care of my son while I’m at work but what sets this nursery apart from the rest is the way they work; extremely professional yet with kindness, grace and respect. They have welcomed us into their nursery ‘family’ and for that, I am blessed. The activities my son is involved with and the experiences he is exposed to are amazing. He’s always active either physically or mentally and the nursery sends me lots of photos throughout the day. The food must taste good too as his eating habits have improved so much!

Our Daughter started bluestone in January 2021 and it has definitely been the correct choice. From starting babies to the present, the care has been fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for more. The staff are lovely, friendly, motivated and our daughter has progressed hugely. The management is great, very organised and stops at nothing to make you feel welcome. The nursery itself is lovely and inviting, great variety of activities and has a healthy, balanced food menu. We definitely made the best decision by sending our little one here!

A fantastic nursery. My daughter started in the pandemic and was nervous and worried due to the restrictions and not being able to go in but the staff have been amazing. They kept me up to date with everything. They made myself and my daughter comfortable and eased my worries. I can't recommend them enough.

My daughter started in Preschool in September, having been at home with me for 3 years and also growing up in a pandemic she did find this difficult. Rob and Mel have worked so hard to settle her and I'm forever grateful for their commitment, she can be very stubborn and headstrong so I know this is no easy task. She now wakes up excited to go to nursery and is animated when telling us about her days. Thank you everyone at Bluestone.

After looking at several options for childcare and a million questions we chose Bluestone Nursery in Leigh. Their smaller set-up and dedicated and reassuring staff made all the difference to me as a nervous wreck of a Mum and they have been supportive every step of the way. Nothing is too much trouble, all questions were met in a conversation and nothing ever feels stupid or rushed through. My child has only been with Bluestone for a month but during this time the development made has been noticeable. It’s hard to leave your little one with someone you don’t know well but Bluestone already feels like extended family.

My daughter has been attending Bluestone since she was about 9 months old. She has specific dietary and skincare instructions which the staff and chef have been more than accommodating to, keeping to her routine and preparing special meals for her. I enjoy seeing updates on the portal throughout the day of how she is doing and all the different activities she is completing. She has a wonderful bond with her key worker and can tell she feels safe and trusts the staff around her which puts my mind at ease, she has come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery and is becoming more confident and social each day.

They took care of my kids really well and provided support for our whole family. You feel the family atmosphere as soon as you walk in. I couldn't recommend Bluestone's enough and I can promise that every child who attends will enjoy themselves.

Our daughter was initially very nervous starting nursery, we were offered numerous settling in sessions which allowed our daughter to be comfortable and gain confidence at the nursery. All the staff were patient and caring and now 4 months on she loves going and is thriving! She does a huge range of activities which we always receive photos of via the app, and it's reassuring to be able to see what she's eaten, and how she's slept that day. We can't thank the staff in the baby room enough for helping our daughter settle in and now fully enjoy her time at nursery!
