My son started at Rossall Nursery in September, prior to this he had attended two other nurseries for short periods, but both were closed due to covid. It was a very unsettling time for both my son and myself, but Rossall Nursery made the transition smooth, uncomplicated and so reassuring. I attended
settling in sessions and was able to discuss every detail of care which I required for my son with staff members who were very experienced and passionate about the children in their care. I found it to have a wonderful, friendly environment with staff focusing on children's personalities and needs, where children are nurtured and individual care is paramount. It was such a relief to see my son settle so quickly and the communication is exceptional, as I receive a daily diary commenting on all aspects of the Nursery day such as sleep times, changes and mealtimes. I also have regular updates and photographs of activities he is enjoying. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

My daughter is in preschool and absolutely loves it. She's been there since Jan 2020. The teachers are marvellous, very attentive, welcoming and competent. I love how we work together in partnership to bring the best out of my little one and prepare her for life and school. You know your child is happy
when she can't wait to attend her preschool sessions and can't wait to tell me about her adventures with her friends. We especially love the grounds and beach access. So good to be with nature and learn. I'll be sad when it's her time to leave.

Our daughter loves this nursery and the teachers, there are many mixed-race children here and they all mix well together. This international school is perfect for educational requirements for all children. Every day she comes home with a different story and excited about tomorrow’s adventures. They
are already learning Spanish at three years old. We cannot recommend and praise this nursery enough for the experiences our daughter is enjoying.

My daughter has settled amazingly well, started at Rossall at 15 months old (having only briefly attended a different nursery prior to lockdown for 2 months), never cried on drop off even in the first week, loves the staff and the setting, the place to be if you love the outdoors!

Amazing nursery, amazing team, simply the best.
There are no words that can explain just how amazing Rossall Nursery is, you must experience it for yourself. My son runs in every day with excitement and is flourishing within an environment that is allowing him to develop.
I was totally unaware of
the nursery provision at Rossall despite living locally and it was only when we changed our older children’s school that we discovered this hidden gem.
My son has been at the nursery for just over 6 weeks full time and in that time he has progressed so much from barely speaking to putting two words together and developing his social skills. The Rossall Nursery team are highly experienced and so caring, they will give your child every opportunity to develop.
Finding Rossall Nursery and taking the decision to put our child in full time was a difficult one after months at home but we couldn’t have made a better decision if you want the very best the team to deliver just that and more.

Our daughter has been to 2 other nurseries in the area and never really settled, we went for a visit before choosing Rossall Nursery and were warmly welcomed by the Manager who made our daughter feel relaxed and welcome in a 1 to 1, she was extremely excited at the prospect of having a uniform and joining
this nursery.
She has been here for about 6 weeks now and the first day we started to get pictures and notes via an app which reassured us that she was thoroughly enjoying her time there. Within a week she extended her days to 4 and continues to thrive in this environment. Every day she comes home with a new experience including a few Spanish words, exercise routines, pockets of stones. Which she loves, pictures and even homework such as rhyming words we practice together.
As parents, we couldn’t be happier with this nursery and the enjoyment our daughter is experiencing every session. The team take an active interest in her and encourage us to interact as much as possible. 5*

Rossall Nursery recently opened a room for children aged 0-2. At first, my son (21 months old when he started) would get apprehensive before walking into the nursery room but it didn't take long for him to run in with a big smile on his face! That's all down to the wonderful staff, who are so warm and
caring. They are always so happy to see him and as a parent, you feel confident that your child is safe and happy in their care.


He's also so excited to attend the nursery, play with his friends, pet the animals, run around the grounds, climb on the tractors and visit the beach!


Finally, this was a challenging time for the nursery to open, shortly after lockdown restrictions were lifted. The level of communication from the nursery staff and the headmaster has been brilliant. I have no doubt that this is a safe, secure place where children can thrive and enjoy themselves. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Our little boy started in the baby room when it opened in September and he has settled in so well with the help of the staff. Not being able to go into the nursery due to Covid is hard but the lovely ladies always welcome us with a smile making it so much easier. The eyLog app they use is amazing! Lovely
pictures with commentary all day of all the fun things they do and a full diary published of all he has eaten, naps and even nappies. 10/10.

My daughter started Rossall Nursery the day after her second birthday and absolutely loves her time there, we chose Rossall for her as they have so many great qualities that stood out to us, they treat each child as an individual ensuring they take into account each child’s different likes and interests,
they also teach the children that it is great to explore the environment and spend lots of time outdoors on the beach/tree climbing and visiting the petting zoo on site. We love to keep up to date with how she is doing during the day via the parental app which consists of pictures and a detailed log of her day almost daily, the staff take excellent care of all of the children and thoroughly enjoy what they do, I couldn’t wish for a better nursery to send my daughter to.

Having moved from SE Asia in August 2019 it was imperative that my then-two-year-old settled quickly. To that end, the genuine welcome my son received was reassuring and moving. I had the feeling that irrespective of the circumstances my son would have received a warm welcome nonetheless.
It was also
clear that the nursery considers each student as an individual and were quick to realise that my son had already covered most of what they do in Rainbow room and moved him up to pre-school. I appreciate the 'stage-not-age' philosophy of the staff and my son has since thrived even more due to this bespoke "service".
I appreciate very much the amount of outdoor time my son receives as well as arts and crafts. I also appreciate the parent app that gives me regular updates of my son's activities and progress.
The staff are professional, warm, caring and approachable.

I couldn't imagine a better place to send a child. My daughter loves going, and the staff are all wonderful. The only problem is that she often doesn't want to leave her friends at the end of the day! Thank you for being so fantastic.

Such a brilliant nursery. The facilities are second to none in the area and the activities the nursery teachers think up are brilliant. Not many other nurseries where the children can attend a petting zoo on-site, visit the beach and go looking for crabs, eat in the Hogwarts-like dinner hall, go exploring
in the woods etc.
The deputy director of the nursery really cares about the children, and you can see she’s very passionate about her job. I don’t like leaving my little boy with many people, but I trust her with my son 100%. He loves going, and drops offs are very easy as I know it can be traumatic for children. But he enjoys his time there. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Brilliant nursery and fantastic staff. My daughter started a day after turning 2, and she loves it here. She has a lovely relationship with her key worker who I can tell really cares about all the children. My son is in preschool, and although he is difficult getting into nursery, as he has been at
previous nurseries, he settled within seconds and is always happy and playing with his friends when I turn up to collect him. I would recommend this nursery to anyone, the staff are so caring and the facilities are the best I have seen compared to other nurseries.

My son started Rossall Nursery 2 days a week in readiness for starting Rossall Primary school in September. On the way there for his first day he was adamant we couldn’t leave him. That lasted less than a minute, and he slotted in just fine and it’s like he’s always been there. In fact, when I went
to collect him he didn’t want to leave! In comparison to other nurseries, I was surprised at the low cost especially given what it includes! My son loves the full uniform as he likes to look smart. The food is also amazing and the fact that they have access to the school's resources is also fantastic. I cannot fault this nursery at all.

My daughter started at Rossell two months ago and it's clear she absolutely loves it, she races off in the morning and is always greeted with a friendly welcome by the brilliant staff whose communication with her and us as parents is excellent; I was really impressed to receive such a personalised report
too. In the short time my daughter has been at Rossell I have noticed a marked improvement in certain areas such as communication and her focus. Having seen all the children queued up before going out to play on collection one day, it's clear there is the right level of discipline embedded in their day-to-day routine. I feel really content that she is so happy and safe in her first time away from parents and grandparents. She has settled very well and loves her mornings at Rossell, her uniform (she doesn't want to take it off) and teachers.

My daughter loves attending Rossall Nursery. She is always eager to attend, excited to see her "friends". She settled really quickly, and now pushes me out of the door when we arrive, so that she can get on with having a wonderful time!


The information and feedback we get from her key worker is always

very thorough and informative.
