My 2 children have only been attending Rossall Nursery for a little over 6 months and my goodness, what an impact it’s had on them both. Our eldest (4) is a different person to the one who started at Rossall back in September. We have noticed huge changes in his personality and character. He’s confident
and outgoing and wants to get involved in everything. He’s recently been to a few birthday parties and previously he would shy away from getting involved, not any more! He now throws himself into whatever is going on and does it with a huge smile on his face. The staff are absolutely amazing and we can’t thank them enough for all they continue to do. Our youngest (3) absolutely loves her days at Rossall, she enjoys being outdoors and takes a huge interest in her surroundings, which considered is set within 160 acres, makes her excited to attend every day. The team at Rossall Nursery always go above and beyond all expectations. Friendly, welcoming and take the best care of my little girl. They have really helped my daughter progress and have encouraged her to grow and develop her own little personality. My daughter loves going to nursery and always goes

The staff at Rossall baby room have been amazing! Their enthusiasm and passion for their jobs is fantastic and makes us feel great about sending our 9 month old baby girl there twice a week. The communication and reporting is detailed and consistent and allows us to easily share with other family and
friends. The facilities, both indoor and outdoor are varied and challenging for all age ranges as well as the nursery grounds allowing for long, safe walks and discovery time.
We are beyond happy with the nursery and especially the staff!

My daughter and son are having a wonderful time in Rossall nursery. The Rossall nursery provides many kinds of activities like yoga, walking to the beach, some foreign languages and so on. And my children really enjoy them. The staff really love our children and take care of them. I was so afraid they

My daughter has attended Rossall Nursery for nearly a year and a half, she loved her time in the baby room, and I cried as much as her when she went into the next room - there was no need to cry because the staff in her new room have also been amazing. She runs into the nursery because she loves her
time there, and the key worker has made her moving rooms so easy, she talks about her while at home, so I know she really enjoys her time there. I couldn’t recommend Rossall Nursery anymore; it has been amazing for her, and her speech, learning and confidence have come on so much since going there. If you have any worries, just go and meet the staff and see the nursery and I’m sure you will love it as much as we do. When we have been to an open day, the headmaster was so lovely and even said hello to our little girl, which I thought was really lovely that he knew her name out of all the children that must go there. The Nursery Manager is also always so lovely and takes the time to come and chat with us.

My daughter has had a great introduction to school life at Rossall with Rossall nursery and preschool.
Teachers at Rossall nursery/preschool have always provided great feedback of her day and seemed to know my child well. Her academic skills have come on a lot and I feel her eagerness for learning
has been thoroughly encouraged during preschool.

Excellent nursery with a really supportive team!
As first-time parents, we were anxious to leave our 11-month-old. From the first visit to Rossall Nursery, we found the staff to be so kind and welcoming - we knew straight away it was the right choice for us.
The Sanderling baby room staff have been
so attentive to our son and really helped him settle in. We would 100% recommend the nursery to any new parents.

My son has been attending Rossall for 18-months now and has experienced time in both Sanderlings and Sandpipers. Since beginning his journey at Rossall, he has come on leaps and bounds. His speech and development have progressed immensely with help from his key workers. All the staff at Rossall have
a loving, caring and friendly nature, and nothing is ever a problem. I feel so comfortable leaving my child in their care and feel reassured that he will have an excellent day. I love the photos that are sent home, via the app that the nursery use, during his day at nursery as it provides me with extra reassurance that he is ok, and I am able to cherish extra photos of his early years!

Rossall Nursery is exceptional. They also have fun activities for the children, and they provide the best care. The school grounds are beautiful and safe. They also have animals for the children so they can learn how to look after animals. The staff are amazing; they have so much time for your child
and their needs, we have every confidence in them looking after our son. He has learnt so much, and he loves going. A superb place.

My son started nursery at Rossall at 10 months. As a first-time mum, I was really anxious about him starting especially at the age he was. The staff however are wonderful and we were quickly reassured by them. My son settled well. Rossall is set in wonderful grounds which the nursery takes full advantage
of, providing the children with a very full and diverse experience to support learning and development. The team consistently support growth and development and work very individually with the children. We have loved watching our son grow and develop. A special mention goes to my son's keyworker. I was instantly made to feel comfortable by her and her ongoing support with my son is fabulous. All staff however are absolute shining stars
My son does have dietary and medication needs which the team fully support without any difficulty.

We sent our little boy to the baby room at Rossall from July 2021 - he had somewhat of a difficult time settling in but without a doubt, in mind, this was majorly helped by the amazing baby room team to get him settled - we have gone from him crying and clinging to mum and dad not wanting to go to him
literally leaping into the arms of the baby room team at drop off and crying now only happens at pick up when he’s going back in the car to come home! It is clear to us as parents that every child is an actual person to all the team and not just a number to look after - they actually care about our little boy and this is something which we didn’t feel or experience when looking around other nurseries! The grounds are simply amazing with an array of activities to do literally on their doorstep! For us, as parents, we can’t wait to watch our son's growth through the nursery and into the school.

My son joined Rossall Nursery baby room aged 4.5 months and the staff were extremely professional and welcoming from the get-go. Communication is a real strength of theirs and they keep me regularly updated with how he has been each day and send a daily log of his activities, developmental targets and

My daughter started Rossall Nursery in January 2021, I was nervous about her starting as we’d been in lockdown so had been together constantly for 10 months. From the moment I dropped her off on her 1st day, I fell in love with the nursery instantly. The staff were so welcoming and caring. I saw an
instant development in my daughter's communication.
She loves having the different daily activities such as ‘move it Monday' and ‘well being Wednesday's'

My daughter has been attending Rossall Nursery since she turned 2. She is my second daughter to be a part of such a wonderful place. I couldn’t recommend Rossall Nursery enough! It was the only nursery we looked round that felt homely (trust me, we looked round a lot) Both my girls have come on academically
and thrived with confidence in all they do, this has been accelerated by being surrounded by such wonderful people and great facilities. The staff are so attentive and I love hearing about all the fantastic things they get up to during the day.

My son has been attending Rossall Nursery for the last 2 years and prior to this my daughter attended Rossall Nursery. I can wholeheartedly say without a doubt that Rossall Nursery has improved a considerable amount. My son, who never wanted to stay at nursery, now wants to stay till 5pm. The care is

    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 94 number of registered child places is 18.8, which has been reached with 37 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
