Partou Eldwick Street Day Nursery & Pre-School is one of the most well-established nurseries in Burnley, having been open for over 25 years. The setting has a fantastic reputation in the community for providing high-quality care and education for babies and children up to the age of 5.

The nursery offers excellent value for money with 15 and 30 free hour childcare places available for eligible families. Fees include milk, nappies, wipes, sun cream and delicious healthy meals from the nursery menu too.

The food menu is varied, nutritionally balanced and can be altered to cater for any special dietary requirements. All food is freshly prepared by their cook in the nursery kitchen, so children can enjoy tasty homemade food every day.

The nursery’s childcare practitioners hold childcare qualifications, have safeguarding and paediatric first aid training and have all undergone enhanced DBS checks. CCTV and secure door entry systems provide added security for the nursery’s little ones.

I am really happy with the progress my child has achieved with her confidence, speaking and listening.
Her ability in certain areas have developed and this is because the Nursery staff have helped considerably. The nursery currently are helping with dental care and other personal achievements. They
look at each child individually and work with you (parents/guardian) with concerns you may have and help you to help your child achieve their goals. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Our daughter started in the baby room at 9 months. She has thoroughly enjoyed her time in the baby room and she built very strong relationships with the staff and her peers. We have been very happy with the key workers who have taken care of her in the baby room. They are incredibly warm and loving
towards her and have a great deal of patience when providing feedback and respond well to requests.
Every day there is a new activity or experience planned and she seems to be really thriving from the variety. Our regular catch-ups with her key worker are informing and reassuring. The general communications from the team are also excellent.

My experience with this nursery has been amazing. My son was none verbal when he started, he’s been there a while now and his speech had come on amazing. He learns new things every day and loves all the staff. No complaints at all.

Very friendly staff. It took my daughter a couple of months to settle in, but the staff were always very helpful and welcoming. Staff give feedback every time we pick her up. They always ask about her when we are dropping her off. Thank you for everything you do. My daughter looks forward to going to
nursery now. She sings songs that they sing in nursery. She is learning a lot of new things.

Both my children absolutely love coming to nursery every day, they have made lovely friendships and connections with both staff and other children. All the staff are very friendly, approachable and professional. I would definitely recommend Burnley Private Day Nursery and Pre-School. They all do an

So far so good. Have not had any issues or problems. Except that waiting in a queue so long but that's understandable due to Covid-19. Hopefully it ends soon. Staff are friendly and helpful. My son loves going to school. Loves his friends, although he complains about that at times. Hes always looks

My son absolutely loves going to nursery, he’s been going there from a young age, starting in the baby room and he’s now in pre-school. The staff are doing an amazing job looking after him and helping him learn new things. He doesn’t tell us much when he comes home but he's usually got a smile on his
face, so I know he’s had a good day. It’s also brought on his amazing imagination, in the way he tells a story or plays with his figures, I could watch him all day. You're all amazing, thank you for all you do.

I have sent all of my three children to little people day nursery. My eldest is now in high school. My boys have all loved nursery and I honestly wouldn't send them anywhere else. My son absolutely loves going to nursery. He has learnt so much, nursery rhymes are his favourite. He loves singing and he comes home telling me stories about what he has been doing during his mornings.
The staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. I love seeing him happily run in smiling as soon as
staff open the door, I would highly recommend this nursery.

My little girl has been attending nursery since September 2019. She absolutely loves it. She loves telling me everything she gets up to and playing with all her friends. Staff are amazing with the kiddies and so friendly. They listen to your thoughts and regularly have a parent's evening to see how
your child is progressing.


They do exciting themed days with the kids like Children in Need where the kiddies could go to nursery in their pj's as well as the staff, they invited parents to have a Valentine's breakfast with their child.


I cannot recommend Burnley Private Day Nursery and Pre-School enough, they're brilliant.

My son attends the nursery and has done since the beginning of September in 2018.
He is autistic and non-verbal but the nursery has done everything in there power to help him achieve everything possible. They offer him heaps of support and are always looking for new ways to help him with anything they
can. They have done so much for my son as well as offering him a safe, fun, learning environment. I highly recommend the nursery to any parent looking for one.
