Partou Eldwick Street Day Nursery & Pre-School is one of the most well-established nurseries in Burnley, having been open for over 25 years. The setting has a fantastic reputation in the community for providing high-quality care and education for babies and children up to the age of 5.

The nursery offers excellent value for money with 15 and 30 free hour childcare places available for eligible families. Fees include milk, nappies, wipes, sun cream and delicious healthy meals from the nursery menu too.

The food menu is varied, nutritionally balanced and can be altered to cater for any special dietary requirements. All food is freshly prepared by their cook in the nursery kitchen, so children can enjoy tasty homemade food every day.

The nursery’s childcare practitioners hold childcare qualifications, have safeguarding and paediatric first aid training and have all undergone enhanced DBS checks. CCTV and secure door entry systems provide added security for the nursery’s little ones.

My daughter has been attending Eldwick Street Nursery since she was around 8 months old I was hesitant to go back to work after maternity but with the help of the staff she has built up a bubbly personality and is thriving In all areas, the staff are so helpful and reassuring and I know my child is
safe and well cared for. There are always various fun educational activities set up for the children to take part in. We are welcomed each nursery session with a smile and a positive manner and this gives me the ease I need each session.

This nursery is amazing, my son has learnt a lot since attending. All staff are welcoming, compassionate, caring and always there to support the child to achieve their potential in all areas.
Very well organised. Both my sons have been to this nursery and I would definitely recommend it to friends/families.
Very accommodating with days and always help where they can.
My child loves the nursery.

I could not ask for a better nursery for my son, the staff are always so amazing and kind with him, they cater for every single one of his needs no matter how big or small they may be. I always feel valued and listened to with anything I talk to the staff about regarding my son, since starting this
nursery my son has settled in so well and he is developing so quickly and this is all due to the amazing staff and the support they are providing him. I am so happy that I found this nursery when looking for a place for my child as I could not fault it in any way, the nursery is always clean, bright and full of fantastic learning resources for all of the children. I honestly could not rate this setting high enough.

My son has been attending day nursery for just over a year now and he loves it here! Staff are well trained and always cater to each child's needs individually. The structure and organisation seem to be very good with many different activities daily. Since attending my child has come on leaps and bounds
and reached all of his developmental milestones above for his age group and this is all down to the fantastic team. Staff are very polite nothing is too much bother and always happy to help.

My daughter started this nursery exactly a year ago and absolutely loves it. She is always doing brilliant activities and she has developed so much since she started. The staff are super friendly and welcoming and are brilliant with the kids. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

All staff are amazing. My oldest son attended the nursery from January 2022 until July 2022 and the 121 attention he received was incredible. His key workers were so friendly. Now my youngest daughter attends and receives the same treatment. She is excited to go to nursery and has a really good relationship
with the staff in her room. Varied meals and snacks too! The best nursery I have put my children in by far!

My experience with the nursery is not very good. Kids always were very dirty, I wasn't happy with hygiene at all in there. And they didn't learn anything. Looks like they just all-day play outside. In all years my child didn't learn to count till 5 then I don't talk about anything else.

As a nursery, we work hard to ensure all our families receive the very best care at all times and we retain the excellent reputation we have worked so hard to gain.

As you would expect hygiene at the nursery is of paramount importance. The nursery employs a cleaner who works every evening to ensure the nursery is clean and all areas are hygienic and ready for a full programme of fun activities the next day. Further cleaning also takes place during the day as and when required.

We do operate a free-flow access to the outdoor area at the nursery so children who are inspired to learn best in this environment can take advantage of the facilities we have available. Whilst different children develop at different times we take pride in ensuring that all children attending our nursery are fully prepared for the next step in their learning journey.
