The Stables Nursery School

Both my children have attended The Stables nursery in Whitley and I can't praise the nursery and staff highly enough. My children have loved being there and I have felt comfortable leaving my children in their hands, even from when they started in the baby room. The level of care and interest each child is shown is wonderful. My eldest still talks about his time at the nursery and has very fond memories of both staff and his little friends. I feel that the Reception Room team prepare the children for starting school very well with regular small group phonics sessions, practising sitting and listening, social skills and I love that the children also do yoga and are introduced to mindfulness and educated not just on phonics and maths, but also how to be kind, polite and a good friend. The meals are excellently prepared and the activity calendar is always packed with lovely outings, craft sessions, dress up days and sporting activities. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Could not recommend this nursery enough. My daughter loves all the staff and has so much fun whilst there.

The facilities are great, a beautiful setting in the heart of the countryside surrounded by greenery and animals. I couldn't wish for more.

Our only critique would be that there are many staff room changes.

The staff are all very focused and knowledgeable about my child.

We have used The stables Nursery school for both our daughters and they absolutely love it. The staff are amazing, the care is exceptional and it's very comforting to know your children are in such goods hands. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

Our daughter loves her days at The stables Nursery and we are so pleased we made the decision to start her here. The staff are lovely, friendly and genuinely caring, the days are well structured and varied with lots of activities and crafts. The areas outside and in are well maintained and clean. Learning and development wise our daughter has come on leaps and bounds. I would definitely recommend The Stables Nursery.

We are into our 5th year and our second child at the Stables, over the past 5 years the level of care given to our boys has been exceptional. I feel that the team really know and understand what both my boys have needed and it’s clear to see that they genuinely care for each and every one of the children they look after.

Our youngest child has Down's Syndrome, which does bring some additional needs and challenges, however, this doesn't phase the team they focus and celebrate on what he can do whilst working with us as parents and a variety of other healthcare professionals to nurture and support him to develop new skills. The Stables is very much about Inclusion, they have made such a positive impact in both our boys lives.
