Excellent in every aspect. Amazing facilities. All the staff I deal with are professional, caring and loving with my daughter. My daughter has come on so much from going since she was a baby. She loves it and will miss it once she leaves.

Could not fault anything. 5 stars from me and would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

Our little girl has been going to Wilmere Lane for just over 12 months. I’m so happy and assured she’s in a safe, caring and supportive environment. The staff are fantastic and very attentive with both my daughter and us as parents. We’re enjoying watching her develop with the new skills she’s learnt at nursery and we know she’s happy and settled. I would highly recommend Wilmere Lane Nursery!

My son has attended since November 2019 and throughout this time he has loved each day.

His relationships with his key workers have been amazing and I can tell just how well they know each other. The nursery has a family feeling to it and would recommend it to anyone.

My second child goes to playmates and he absolutely loves it. I wish I knew about this nursery with my first child. I love their values and beliefs. They also use holistic play which my son loves. Thanks to all of the ladies at playmates for looking after my son like their own.

I would highly recommend Wilmere Lane Nursery and Pre-School. It is a safe, welcoming, home from home, stimulating place full of amazing staff who truly care about all the children. My son attended the nursery from 10 months until he moved onto school. My daughter is now at the nursery and thoroughly enjoys every day that she is there. The nursery has made so many positive changes to the environment and the style of provision that is offered to the children. Staff are provided with regular training to develop their skills which clearly benefits the children's experiences. I have always felt a part of the Wilmere Lane family and will be sad to say goodbye when my daughter moves onto school.

My daughter is so settled in this nursery, the exploratory play allows her to use her imagination which has brought on her speech and language skills and allows for more creative play. The rooms are homely and comforting, the staff are so kind and caring, always answer my questions when needed and the use of the online diaries are fantastic. I love seeing little photos every day of my daughter happy. Would recommend to anybody, a real home from home, nourishing and caring environment for little people.

Quite simply, we cannot speak highly enough of Wilmere Lane Day Nursery. Both the facilities and staff are absolutely amazing and we couldn’t wish for a better environment in which to leave our son. In the past, we have used other nurseries in the area and also a childminder, neither of which compare to our experiences at Wilmere Lane. Our son was very nervous and unsettled when first starting, having been at home with us throughout the first lockdown. However, he was welcomed by all the staff and was treated with compassion on arrival to take away any doubts or worries we had - which was very important to us. He really enjoys his time at Wilmere Lane, he always leaves smiling and is full of stories of the day’s activities. We wouldn’t ever think of putting our son anywhere else.

Our little girl is 14 months old and had been really unsettled at our previous choice of childcare. The anxiety and stress for all of us was terrible, after a lot of consideration, we decided to try some settling-in sessions at Wilmere Lane. It is the best thing we’ve ever done. I won’t pretend it hasn’t taken a little bit of time for our daughter to settle, however, she isn’t crying all day, she’s eating all her meals, having great naps, and is visibly happy. I love seeing what she’s been up to in the daily diary log, and how she is developing. I would like to see some more pictures though. A huge thank you to the two staff members in the caterpillar room for all your hard work. Cannot recommend this nursery enough.

I am so happy to send my daughter to Wilmere lane. From the moment I dropped her off at 12 months old, I feel she has been so well taken care of. The team show genuine warmth and care for the children. I like the curiosity approach to learning as I think it suits little ones learning and discovering their own likes/dislikes. I was thoroughly impressed at how prepared the nursery was with procedures/health and safety plans in advance of being allowed to reopen by following national closures of nurseries in 2020. It made me feel confident sending my daughter in, and that has continued. It’s exciting to see the huge investment in the pre-school area, which looks like it will be a fantastic learning environment for the future. This is particularly important to me as my child will be 5 when she starts school.

We recently moved our little boy to this nursery, due to some bad experiences at a previous nursery. The difference is amazing. The daily updates, the photos and the communication from this nursery is first class. Our little boy loves it and the nursery staff are brilliant.

My son has been attending the nursery from around eight months old and will continue to attend until he goes to school. He has additional needs and the nursery and all its staff have been amazing in providing the extra care and requirements he needs to obtain a normal nursery experience. Rather than holding him back due to his development delays, the staff has helped him stay with his peers to enable him to continue to develop and learn from them. We have also had support with regards to all the complex paperwork that is required for my son to obtain the best funding, care and school he will attend. Thank you.

An outstanding nursery and preschool, I would recommend with confidence. Wilmere Lane Nursery & Pre-school has excellent staff who genuinely care for all the children, superb facilities and high expectations in terms of safeguarding and child development. My children thoroughly enjoy themselves, they are well-fed, superbly looked after and their day is structured to engage and nurture their creativity and learning. The newly renovated preschool room is an inspiring space, blending learning zones such as Science, technology, engineering, mathematics, art, role-play and cooking in a big, beautiful and part brand new building.

Wilmere Lane Nursery & Pre-school is a lovely nursery and I have always felt safe sending both my children there. My little boy attended from 2016 to 2019 and absolutely loved it and now my little girl attends and she equally loves it. The girls at the nursery are lovely and make you feel happy knowing that my children are well cared for.

I have known the staff for a very long time. They always make you feel welcome, my youngest attends and she is two. She loves going to nursery, there is so much for them to do. She loves being outside and there is plenty of activities to do. Everything is captured in photos so you don't miss anything. I always recommend Wilmere Lane Nursery & Pre-school to other mum's, as I'm filled with confidence that my little girl enjoys going and tells me all about her day.

We decided to try this nursery as we weren't totally satisfied with the care given by our son's previous nursery (despite being rated Ofsted outstanding ) - our son was happy but was sent home multiple times with loose stools/tummy bug.
It turned out to be the best decision we made. Since coming to this nursery, he has had no tummy issues at all. They have also been great with his lactose intolerance diet.
Our son loves being outdoors and has fitted right in with the ethos of this nursery. The staff is always cheerful and genuinely cares about the children. We would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to anyone.

They have also been very supportive during the lockdown period by staying open for key workers and being flexible with their days/fees.

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was nine months old and settled in almost instantly. She is now three and a half and looks forward to the days she is in nursery. She has a great group of friends and has a really close bond with various members of staff.
I was instantly impressed with the nursery in terms of the facilities and also the early years curriculum and how this is approached.

I am expecting my second child and they will be starting here when I return to work; I’d have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the nursery to other parents. I would say that the staff are an absolute credit to the nursery, there is a genuine commitment and care towards the children and it really shows when I drop my daughter off and she has absolutely no issues with me leaving her for the day.

I couldn't ask for a better nursery to send my little girl too. Initially, she took a little while to settle in but after spending some time with the staff she has thrived in nursery. The first few weeks she would cry when I left her but now she asks to go to nursery in the mornings, even now in lockdown she talks about nursery every day and that is due to all the time and effort they have put into making sure she feels settled there, it makes going to work so much easier knowing I am leaving her in safe hands.

My child has attended this nursery for almost three years now, since the age of six months. It has become a home from home. The staff are extremely pleasant and friendly and form a great bond with the children. My childs' development and learning skills are above target and he amazes me with the things he has learnt from nursery.

I had no hesitation in letting him follow on at nursery or his preschool year, as he has come on so much during his time here. I would highly recommend.

My daughter is extremely close to me and does suffer from separation anxiety when I have to leave her to go to work. The staff at Wilmere Lane supported us both so well through a very difficult transition phase and they have formed fantastic professional and friendly bonds with both my daughter and myself as a result of this. All staff in the nursery are extremely supportive and engaging even if they are not from your child's allocated room. They welcome everyone to the nursery enthusiastically each day and I feel comfortable knowing that my daughter is being left in such good care.

When I have raised concerns around my daughter the staff and manager have worked to support me and address any concerns instantly and they are excellent at keeping you updated and ensuring that you feel reassured if your little one is going through a particularly difficult time.

The team at Wilmere excel themselves. I couldn't wish for a better family of workers to look after my daughter.
