Wilmere Lane Nursery School

From the moment my little one started, we have all been welcomed into the Wilmere family. 

I have no hesitation in recommending Wilmere Lane to my friends and know that their children will have as great an experience as we have had!

Wilmere Lane Nursery is a lovely place, with so many different things to keep my son entertained. I am confident that my son not only has a fun and engaging day but also is incredibly well looked after. Staff are approachable and happy to help with any queries or concerns. Food seems wholesome, nutritious and varied. Happy with my choice of nursery all-round!

My daughter has been coming to this nursery since January, and I can honestly say she has loved coming since day one. The staff are so lovely and caring towards all the children and make you feel so at ease knowing your child is in safe hands. We are regularly updated with our child’s learning and development and handover at the end of the day is very effective as you know how your child has been throughout the day what they have eaten, nappies, sleeps, etc! .They are all very friendly and approachable, and I know my daughter has a fabulous relationship with her key worker aswell as the other staff members in the nursery as she is always so happy to go in as soon as we pull up in the carpark. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for childcare for their children. Thank you to everyone who has looked after our daughter so far, we really can't fault the care she has received so far.

My daughter went to Wilmere from one year, up until three years and four months. I cannot fault this nursery. She absolutely thrived. The staff are very compassionate and exceptional at their jobs. It was an absolute pleasure for her to attend there. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nursery setting.

My little boy has been coming to Wilmere Lane Nursery School for a little over a year now and has loved his learning journey so far. He has come on leaps and bounds. He has an amazing bond with all the staff that he has worked with. They truly are wonderful at their roles. The management team are very welcoming, and there is never a problem too big or small for them. I am looking forward to my little baby girl to soon be joining this fantastic nursery.

We absolutely love sending our little boy to Wilmere Lane Nursery School. We have received nothing but outstanding practice and service since day one. Our little boy adores the staff and the genuine care they show him is second to none. As a primary school teacher myself, I understand the important role a child-led curriculum plays in his development.

I am very happy with my daughter’s experience since starting nursery when she was 10 months old. The nursery key workers are all kind, approachable, personable and take the time to get to know you and your child. My daughter has developed so much since joining; her language has gone from strength to strength and she has become more sociable and extroverted. It is a comfort to know I am leaving my child in good hands, with people that care for her well-being and know her well as an individual.

We love this Nursery. It has been a home from home for our 3 children. The staff are all so lovely yet professional. My children love coming in and have gained so much from attending. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone.

Excellent nursery, staff know your children inside and out and go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. Children are made to feel welcome at all times and there are always questions regarding their day before nursery which makes everyone feel at ease.

My son started at Wilmere Lane Nursery in Jan 2023 and he absolutely loves it! It's clear he has very good relationships with all his keyworkers (past and present) as well as being extremely happy around all staff members. The daily updates and observations which we receive really reassure me as a mum that he is enjoying his time at the nursery and it is also good to see what he's eaten, his nappies and sleep times too. The communication from the nursery is really good. They have always provided a good verbal summary at the end of the day when I have collected my son and are always happy to answer any questions I have.

The staff clearly enjoy working with the children as they provide such a high level of care. He's been provided with many opportunities to experience lots of new things and is always encouraged. All the activities which the nursery does have definitely helped my little boy with his development in all skill sets. Overall, Wilmere Lane is a fantastic nursery.

Both of our sons have been at Wilmere Lane from 10 months right through to Pre-School. All of the staff are welcoming and have built strong relationships with both of our boys. We have always felt safe leaving our children to go to nursery here and have loved how at home and comfortable our children have been going in. Communication is thorough through the use of the app and also during handovers at drop off and pick up. We have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the nursery in general and have recommended Wilmere Lane to many friends.

We have our two girls 1 and 2 in Wilmere Lane and honestly, we couldn’t ask for more they have been brilliant with them both from day one to now and with us too! We get updated with pictures, news and reports for the girls - we have also been assisted greatly by all of the staff for our little girl's additional needs around eating. We can only say thank you to them for everything they have done.

Lovely nursery, the staff are amazing and the children love it there. The staff very sensible and genuinely care about the children, and very approachable. I’ve had 2 children there over the last 6 years, and highly recommend it to anyone.

After going to see a few local nurseries and being left disappointed I knew on the first visit that this was the right nursery for my child. The staff at this nursery are exceptional and you can see they really care about the children. The use of the portal for updates is great, it informs me of key info such as feeding / nap times and they often provide pictures of what my child is doing during the day which really helped to set my mind at ease during the first days back at work.

My two girls have been in Wilmere Lane for the past twelve months or so now and I could not be happier. Our eldest is two years old now and has progressed through two different classes. She’s loved everyone and bonded so well with her key person every time. She has trouble with her eating and sleeping but the nursery has been so accommodating with this and making it as easy as possible for her. Once our second was born we were keen to get her into nursery as soon as possible. She’s one now and has also progressed so much! The care and attention they receive is second to none. Thank you everyone at Wilmere for making our girls so happy!

I cannot rate the nursery highly enough. My son has been attending for a year and he is flourishing. The nursery has such a family vibe and the staff are just amazing. My son loves being there and I go off to work each day happy knowing he is safe, well cared for and having lots of fun. I will be so sad when my son has to leave to go to school!
