Kids Planet Haslington

My boys have both loved their time at Kids Planet. The staff are all so accommodating and always make my children feel special by organising activities for them. After previous bad experiences with a nursery, I was nervous when we started here but they have gone above and beyond to prove they are the best nursery around.

Not only do the staff go above and beyond for all the children but the support to us as a family has been immense, nothing is any trouble and on finding out bad news in October 2022 they all supported us immensely to help us through a difficult time, and for that we will be forever grateful. If you have any doubts about Kids Planet Haslington then you really don't need to, amazing outstanding friendly approachable staff right throughout the whole nursery.

I’ve had two of my children at Kids Planet Haslington, one still currently attends. The nursery is a great setting for children. Flexible hours and are always supportive of changes of days or hours. The staff are friendly and helpful. The children always look happy and well entertained.

After having my baby during Lockdown I was so nervous to be leaving her with people she didn't know when returning to work, but I had absolutely nothing to worry about! The staff create such a close bond with every child, they genuinely care for all the children and I know she is as safe as she would be at home. They ensure the children get time to play outside every day, with different and exciting indoor activities each day. Also - the food is incredible! I honestly couldn't ask for more from a nursery and my daughter never wants to leave.

My daughter attends the Allstars before and after school club and holiday club. My daughter has learning difficulties and the staff meets her needs every day when she attends. The staff has taken to know my daughter and ensures she has a wonderful time.

My daughter has been going here for three months. All I can say is the staff are brilliant and so attentive to her needs. If you are looking for a nursery locally I cannot recommend here more highly.

Absolutely outstanding, welcomed my daughter in and helped her make new friends. They give her time and when she's feeling upset they comfort her, she loves the staff in her room and her friends at the nursery.

We have been at Kids Planet Haslington since September 2022 and have nothing but praise for this setting. The children are given lots of lovely opportunities and the provision is very well-resourced. Staff members are always pleasant and our daughter is extremely happy here!

Absolutely wonderful care for my autistic son, the SEN support is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly. They have a great space, large outdoor play area, and lots of activities for the children. Couldn’t ask for more from a provision!

Our son loves going to the nursery and is always excited to tell all the activities he does during the day. All the staff members are very helpful and caring. They understand our son's dietary requirements and have always been supportive. They also teach Spanish in preschool and encourage children to learn a new language in an exciting way. They organise different activities like Spa days, farm visits, sunflower farms and picnics at different places during summer which is very exciting. Definitely recommend Kids Planet in Haslington.

Our little boy loves going to Kids Planet in Haslington. He is always so happy when he is dropped off and holds his arms out to be held by the lovely ladies that work in the baby room. He has come on so much since he started and we are really happy with the care he receives. We are moving soon and very sad that we will have to move him to a new nursery. His key worker at the moment is wonderful.

Can’t fault them at all - sending your child to nursery can be daunting, but we were soon put at ease. Communication particularly has been fantastic throughout - getting lots of updates throughout the day, as well as a thorough run through at collection. Fairly sure he prefers it to home!

We moved our daughter here from another nursery and we are so pleased we did! The activities, day trips and general buzz/fun in the nursery is wonderful and my daughter has the most amazing time there! The staff are so attentive and caring and have made a real effort to help my daughter settle in.

I 100% recommend Kids Planet in Haslington, wouldn't change a thing from the past 3 years, there's always something going on, indoor and outdoor activities, going on trips etc. My son is always excited to tell me about his day.

My daughter attends Allstars after school and holiday club. She enjoys attending. The staff are amazing, and she is always happy when I collect her. I would highly recommend the setting. She attended the nursery from age 2 and I can't fault them.

My little boy required childcare I had heard positive reviews about Kids Planet and in particular the Haslington nursery. I got in touch with the nursery and spoke to the manager, she was able to communicate immediately with the baby room leader who was able to register my son. Although we only need availability occasionally and in this case in an emergency, I am confident to call on them again.

My little boy required urgent care due to myself having to work and my parents and husband both being ill (needing to isolate), when my in-laws were only able to look after my son for two half-days I called upon Kids Planet to allow me to register my little boy. They were extremely sensitive to mine and especially my son's needs and as a first-time mum made me feel at ease and I was thankful my son's first experience of nursery was at Kids Planet.

Absolutely lovely nursery! As soon as you walk through the doors you know just how lovely the setting is! Everyone is approachable and great listeners! My daughter is in the baby room and I know all the staff go above and beyond for her by doing activities with her I know she loves! And just being there for her when she needs a cuddle!!! They always have time to talk to me about my daughter's day and what she's been up to which is lovely. The app updates are excellent too! Tracy and Kenzie especially thank you for all you do for Eliza! It really makes going to work worth it for me when you know your little one is getting the upmost best care!

Kids Planet Haslington have been amazing from day 1; from the initial tour to settling in and continued care for our little one. One thing I like is that nothing is too much for them. Staff are always at the end of the phone if I have any queries about my son or even if I am simply worried about how he’s settled that day. Another thing I love is that every single member of staff is pleasant and makes eye contact when they say hello - whether they are working in my child’s room or not. This makes for a pleasant and positive environment which makes both parents and children feel welcome. My son has come on in leaps and bounds since starting six months ago. Massive thumbs up from us!

Both our girls go here and absolutely love it. They have an amazing relationship with key workers and others, who take the time to get to know them. I know the girls are well-supported, looked after and are growing in a way that is true to them. The rooms have benefitted from extensive refurbishment and are always clean, neat and tidy. The outdoor space is truly amazing: great play area with separate areas for the little ones and a huge field out the back. We are so happy with the choice we made and would highly recommend to others.
