Kids Planet Haslington

I have rated activities and learning as satisfactory because I do not know enough about them. I have not seen observations or pictures via the app, but I would rather nursery staff be interacting with my child than on a computer tablet inputting details so that is fine with me.

My child really likes going to Kids Planet Kids Club as the staff are so lovely and very professional, also they do such a lot of great activities with the children. We are so pleased that Kids Planet Kids Club reopened for the holidays as we knew she would have such a great time and it was lovely to see all the staff again. Thank you to everyone!

In depth updates on child were few and far between even after expressing concerns. Never really told us who our child was close too or enjoyed playing with. Also lost clothing having been told by two separate people they had seen it at the nursery, we never got it back. A one to one like a parents evening type thing would have been good, even if done on Zoom due to circumstances. Our child was happy when came home from nursery but never really told us much which is why more updates would have been nice.

We find all of the staff at the nursery very welcoming. They are great with the babies, our little boy took a while to settle and the team were very patient and caring. The recent upgrade of toys and resources has had a positive impact on the children and practitioners which is lovely to see. I always feel able to speak to them about anything which is also important. I would recommend it to anyone.

My grandaughter enjoys coming to nursery, the staff are very friendly.

All staff are brilliant with my son. Can't thank them enough. Good communication, friendly and helpful. My son loves going.

The staff have been amazing since my daughter joined the nursery back in May. They helped her to settle in immediately and have encouraged and assisted her since and her development is wonderful to watch. Since the takeover by Kids Planet, the nursery has been provided with new equipment and toys which the children all seem to enjoy. My daughter comes home each day with a smile on her face which goes to show what a fantastic job the nursery and staff are doing.

Both my children have been/go to this nursery and have enjoyed every minute. Lovely staff and very professional.

My children love this nursery, they have really developed since being here. They love the staff and have made great friends. The nursery is fantastic at catering to our dietary requirements and goes above and beyond to look after our children.

Fantastic nursery - both my children are always happy and content. Staff always reassuring and encouraging. The supervisor in the baby room is amazing, very professional, supportive, caring and her passion for children and her role is evident every day.

The wonderful staff here made this nursery a second home for our son, who has adored going to nursery here since he was 18 months old. He thrived here and was always so comfortable with the staff and made some great friends here - who he has now gone to school with. I would like to have seen a bit more parent involvement - Christmas Party, Nativity or play sessions, where we could see what the children got up to, but I know how happy he always was and we miss the staff, now he has left! During his time in pre-school, we had a few more opportunities to get involved - Mother's Day and Father's Day parties which we were able to attend and really enjoyed all. The flexibility of hours was one of the main things that attracted us to this setting and we were always accommodated last minute if we had to work on a different day etc.

Our three children have attended this nursery and kids club for over a year. They have been absolutely fantastic in that time. They are so caring towards our children, I have always felt they treat each child like they would their own. They are also, flexible with days when I need it for my job, which is important to me. Whenever there have been any issues (which is very rare) they have dealt with them swiftly and professionally. I have every confidence that they do their best for our children each day they attend.

This is a fantastic nursery, my child has been attending since she was 8 months old! We've never had any issues and would recommend to anyone with little ones. The staff are great and have so much time for each child, they've helped my little one build her confidence and will now take part in outside activities with no problem at all.

My daughter moved from another setting and settled in very well. She is happy to be in here and talks a lot about it at home. The management, owners and room supervisor are extremely accommodating and couldn't do enough to help. We are very happy here and looking forward to see our little girl grow and learn.

My little boy has been attending here for two years now and the fab staff go out of the way to be helpful and give you advise and help with any issue that may come up, also with any additional needs they are extremely helpful. I’m going to miss him being at this nursery and gutted he’s starting big boy school, so sad to see everyone go and wish he could stay here for a few more years. Their facilities are great and their sensory room is fab, he always enjoyed coming here and never had any problems leaving him in their care.

The staff make this place which can only be a reflection of the management. I have used this nursery for 8 yrs for both my children and I've honestly never had cause to complain. The caregivers clearly love what they do, its not just a job. I love peering through the door at night to see my child dancing and smiling with someone or getting told about friendships they're making. It really is a lovely location, great staff and great child development. From the cook, I pass every morning who refers to my children by name to the cleaners who hold the door open for me when they see me struggling with bags, coats and kids. Truly lovely people and I'll be sad when my children no longer go there.

Excellent nursery. Both my girls love it here. The staff are friendly and build great relationships. The office is always open to talk to. Couldn't recommend enough. The best nursery around.
