Partou Buttercups Day Nursery & Pre-school

Our little boy started at Buttercups when he was 9 months old. As first-time parents, leaving our only baby in other hands after being with him 24/7 was naturally a big adjustment, and building that trust was so important. This was quickly built through regular joyful updates, transparent communication, and thorough handovers.

Our little boy has always enjoyed his time at Buttercups, and a big part of that is the creativity and care that goes into the wide variety of frequent activities, alongside balanced meals, and attentive support given to his individual routine and needs.

We appreciate time taken to get to know him as an individual - from building bonds and greeting him warmly, to setting up some of his favourite activities to instantly bring a smile to his face. These things have all made his day, as well as ours to see.

my 3 children attend buttercups day nursery, all the staff are fantastic and take their time to welcome all off my children in as well as a handover at the end off the day. they do some great planned activities around my children's interest. the manager is outstanding, she listens to any concerns that me and partner may have and it gets resolved straight away. i would recommend this nursery to anyone who lives around the area, is such a great loving home environment for my children for my children to be apart. thank you so much buttercups.

Nursery communicate really well, and we are regularly updated throughout the day with pictures of all the exciting activities on offer.

Really happy with this nursery, compared to other local nurseries we liked the staff, facilities and management. Our little one always looks forward to going in and doesn't stop talking about his day when picked up.

My little boy has been going here since he was 18 months old. He’s 3 now and in preschool. He has come on leaps and bounds with his confidence. It has a real family feel to it and all the staff are wonderful.

Buttercups Private Day Nursery is outstanding. The provision is of the highest quality and the nursery manager and staff go above and beyond to ensure that the children have the best experiences possible. It is a joy to send my child there and I can’t recommend them enough. Their caring nature and attention to detail are just wonderful; for example, they have a lovely themed chair outdoors which they decorate regularly in addition to their wonderful rooms and spaces. The communication I receive from nursery staff is thorough and it is a pleasure to be able to observe activities my child has taken part in through the app. Staff go above and beyond to provide a range of first-hand experiences and my child is making excellent progress with his fine/gross motor skills, language and communication and social skills as a result of attending the nursery. Any queries or questions I have are quickly dealt with and the nursery manager has the highest expectations.

My little boy started at Buttercups Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Ellesmere Port last summer at 9 months old and we are so pleased with the care and nurture he has received. The continuity of staff is great, meaning we get a thorough handover from his key worker. The manager has always been so helpful with any queries we have had and accommodating in arranging extra sessions when needed. We love to hear what he has been up to in the day from exploring outside to painting and even baking. He loves the food at the nursery and always sleeps well afterwards. It’s such a pleasure to see him settle and grow in confidence amongst the other children. Thank you Buttercups for looking after our little boy with so much genuine support, care and compassion to help him thrive into toddlerhood.

Always make me and my baby feel so welcome, my baby is so happy here and I feel so much more at ease bringing him to nursery. I love the pictures I get sent and how approachable the staff are if I have any questions. All of the staff are so friendly!

The team at Buttercups have been outstanding since day one of my son's starting. They are always there to greet us with big smiles and have really gotten to know my son during his time there. They always tell me all about his day and are attentive to any requests made with regards to his care. They do so many different activities and playtime and really allow the children to explore inside and in their gardens. As my son is a big fan of books the lending library has been a huge hit for us where every night he asks to borrow a different book for bedtime! I genuinely can't thank the team enough for everything they do!

Really happy with this Nursery. Every room we have been in, the staff have been amazing and gotten to know my child as an individual. She has so much affection for the staff which shows how well she is treated here. The manager is so good, accommodating, when possible, and I have never had an issue in over three years. I am actually going to be gutted when my little one leaves as they have never let me down and I know she loves being here!

I honestly cannot recommend this amazing nursery highly enough! We have used Buttercups since 2019 and have always loved it. The wonderful team at Buttercups are like a second family to us and provide supportive and responsive care for our little boy. My little boy adores going to nursery and gets so excited when the door opens in the morning and he’s greeted with a big welcome! Any issues or worries we’ve had have always been met with reassurance and plans to help or support and this is something that has put us at ease so much. The manager is also amazing and knows the children and families so well. Knowing us all by name makes it feel like a real home from home environment and there’s no one else I would rather look after my children!

My little boy loves coming to nursery and talks about all the staff and children as he’s getting ready in the morning. He clearly feels very safe and happy there and they do so much with them. He loves it. I feel completely confident with Buttercups Day Nursery looking after him and am so happy we chose here.

Buttercups Day Nursery is a lovely small-sized nursery with friendly and helpful staff. They really make an effort with my son as it's never easy to go off to work and leave him but I always know that he has a fun time and enjoys the different activities that are provided.

Caring and friendly staff and they always accommodate my child. They are always happy and safe going there and have smiles coming out. The staff always let me know how my child has been at the debrief at the end of the day. They do a range of activities and it’s lovely to see these on my learningbook. I like that milk, nappies, cream, calpol and food is all included in the rates so as a busy mum I don’t have to think about it.

I cannot recommend Buttercups Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Ellesmere Port enough, my little boy started there in August 2022 and he’s settled right in and absolutely loves it. The staff are all really lovely and supportive, I was so worried about leaving my little boy for the first time when going back to work but everyone put my mind at rest straight away. He’s come on so much in the last few months and comes home with new skills and new words what feels like every week now which is amazing. The menu is great and really varied - there isn’t one meal my little boy hasn’t eaten in his whole time at Buttercups! It’s a really lovely homely environment and I really like that all the staff know all the children and parents. My little boy is so happy there, I love that he goes in every morning smiling when he sees his key worker, I never have to worry while I’m at work as I know he’ll be having the best time with all his friends at Buttercups
