Partou Buttercups Day Nursery & Pre-school in Ellesmere Port offers daycare for children aged nought to five-years-old.

Buttercups nursery offers outstanding care and learning opportunities for children, covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Kind and caring, many of the nursery's experienced and highly-qualified staff hold a Level 3 or above in childcare, a paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding training. Enhanced DBS checks are carried out on all staff and CCTV and secure door entry systems are in use at the nursery, so families can be happy in the knowledge that their little ones are in safe hands.

Healthy meals and snacks are prepared on-site by the nursery chef and any special dietary requirements can be catered for.

I honestly couldn't recommend the team at Buttercups more to anyone looking for outstanding childcare - you won't regret it!
My daughter has attended Buttercups since she turned one, and has loved every minute!
The nursery has incredible family feel (which truly is special) and makes the impossible
task of leaving your baby each day more comfortable. Each and every member of staff is so welcoming and attentive, and appear truly invested in my little girls development and wellbeing. She comes home happy each day, and often talks about both her teachers and friends at home!
Nursery communicate really well, and we are regularly updated throughout the day with pictures of all the exciting activities on offer.

Our little boy has been at this nursery since he was eleven months old. He is our first baby so starting him at nursery was a really scary time for both of us! All of the staff at buttercups made us as parents, and our little boy, feel super at ease, even from the day we went for a look around. We knew
straight away he would be in great hands!
He's been here for either months now and absolutely loves it. The ladies in the baby room are fantastic with him and always give us a thorough review of his day when we pick him up.
We can't thank them enough!

My daughter started here in January and she absolutely loves it! The staff are so lovely and attentive. They cater for allergies/intolerances which is vital for us.
They make things most days to come home with and the nursery uses an app in order for you to access photos of your little one to see
what they’ve been up to.
I’ve only ever heard good things about this Nursery and so far we’re very impressed too!

We have attended Buttercups since September 2021, our little boy has gone through the first three rooms of the nursery with ease and that is down to the amazing staff team who have got to know myself but most importantly our son on such a personal level even down to the names of his comforters.
Nothing
is ever too much to ask from the staff at Buttercups, they are willing to help in anyway that they can and the manager goes above and beyond to make nursery life incredible for our son.
We are blown away by the efforts the nursery goes to with events, like the door displays and chair but our favourite had to be the Christmas grotto! Our son still talks about the bear!
I am so pleased we chose Buttercups for our son, his little face changes when he knows its a nursery day.

We love Buttercups. My son has been there for 2 years and he always comes home happy. The team are amazing, so attentive and caring. We are into the last year now in pre-school and watching him learn and build his confidence is a credit to the team that has led him on his journey.

Buttercups Private Day Nursery is outstanding. The provision is of the highest quality and the nursery manager and staff go above and beyond to ensure that the children have the best experiences possible. It is a joy to send my child there and I can’t recommend them enough. Their caring nature and attention
to detail are just wonderful; for example, they have a lovely themed chair outdoors which they decorate regularly in addition to their wonderful rooms and spaces. The communication I receive from nursery staff is thorough and it is a pleasure to be able to observe activities my child has taken part in through the app. Staff go above and beyond to provide a range of first-hand experiences and my child is making excellent progress with his fine/gross motor skills, language and communication and social skills as a result of attending the nursery. Any queries or questions I have are quickly dealt with and the nursery manager has the highest expectations.

My little boy started at Buttercups Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Ellesmere Port last summer at 9 months old and we are so pleased with the care and nurture he has received. The continuity of staff is great, meaning we get a thorough handover from his key worker. The manager has always been so
helpful with any queries we have had and accommodating in arranging extra sessions when needed. We love to hear what he has been up to in the day from exploring outside to painting and even baking. He loves the food at the nursery and always sleeps well afterwards. It’s such a pleasure to see him settle and grow in confidence amongst the other children. Thank you Buttercups for looking after our little boy with so much genuine support, care and compassion to help him thrive into toddlerhood.

Always make me and my baby feel so welcome, my baby is so happy here and I feel so much more at ease bringing him to nursery. I love the pictures I get sent and how approachable the staff are if I have any questions. All of the staff are so friendly!

The team at Buttercups have been outstanding since day one of my son's starting. They are always there to greet us with big smiles and have really gotten to know my son during his time there. They always tell me all about his day and are attentive to any requests made with regards to his care. They
do so many different activities and playtime and really allow the children to explore inside and in their gardens. As my son is a big fan of books the lending library has been a huge hit for us where every night he asks to borrow a different book for bedtime! I genuinely can't thank the team enough for everything they do!

Really happy with this Nursery. Every room we have been in, the staff have been amazing and gotten to know my child as an individual. She has so much affection for the staff which shows how well she is treated here. The manager is so good, accommodating, when possible, and I have never had an issue
in over three years. I am actually going to be gutted when my little one leaves as they have never let me down and I know she loves being here!

I honestly cannot recommend this amazing nursery highly enough! We have used Buttercups since 2019 and have always loved it. The wonderful team at Buttercups are like a second family to us and provide supportive and responsive care for our little boy. My little boy adores going to nursery and gets so
excited when the door opens in the morning and he’s greeted with a big welcome! Any issues or worries we’ve had have always been met with reassurance and plans to help or support and this is something that has put us at ease so much. The manager is also amazing and knows the children and families so well. Knowing us all by name makes it feel like a real home from home environment and there’s no one else I would rather look after my children!

My little boy loves coming to nursery and talks about all the staff and children as he’s getting ready in the morning. He clearly feels very safe and happy there and they do so much with them. Buttercups Day Nursery is a lovely small-sized nursery with friendly and helpful staff. They really make an effort with my son as it's never easy to go off to work and leave him but I always know that he has a fun time and enjoys the different activities that are provided.

Caring and friendly staff and they always accommodate my child. They are always happy and safe going there and have smiles coming out. The staff always let me know how my child has been at the debrief at the end of the day. They do a range of activities and it’s lovely to see these on my learningbook.
I like that milk, nappies, cream, calpol and food is all included in the rates so as a busy mum I don’t have to think about it.

I cannot recommend Buttercups Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Ellesmere Port enough, my little boy started there in August 2022 and he’s settled right in and absolutely loves it. The staff are all really lovely and supportive, I was so worried about leaving my little boy for the first time when
going back to work but everyone put my mind at rest straight away. He’s come on so much in the last few months and comes home with new skills and new words what feels like every week now which is amazing. The menu is great and really varied - there isn’t one meal my little boy hasn’t eaten in his whole time at Buttercups! It’s a really lovely homely environment and I really like that all the staff know all the children and parents. My little boy is so happy there, I love that he goes in every morning smiling when he sees his key worker, I never have to worry while I’m at work as I know he’ll be having the best time with all his friends at Buttercups

A lovely little nursery where the staff care so much for their children and everyone knows the kid's names. The activities are tailored to not only the needs of the kids in the room but also the time of year they are in keeping a wide variety of activities going on for the children. The staff are very
informative when they do drop off as to what has happened that day and the online journal is great to see. I would highly recommend. They also have an on-site chef who prepares the meals and menus!

Buttercups Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Ellesmere Port, is a fantastic nursery. My daughter has been attending since she was 10 months old.
The staff are excellent, approachable, down to earth and extremely capable.
The nursery is very welcoming to both parents and children and it is easy
to address any questions or queries about my daughter's day to day. The children also play outside in the fresh air every day which I think is extremely important.
It is a home from home environment where they treat children like their own. I would highly recommend Buttercups to any parent.

As a parent it is hard to leave your child and go back to work, but the staff at Buttercups Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Ellesmere Port made it so much easier to do that. From the first visit they were warm and welcoming, they answered all my questions and engaged with my son on his settling
in sessions. They gave him time to adjust and worked around his needs, he even gives a wave now when I leave which is so lovely. The best part of the day is picking him up and seeing a great big smile on his face and hearing all the things he has been doing. The Learning Journey is great as we can see pictures of him playing with other children and just having fun.
