Footsteps Wilmslow

We selected Footsteps because their facilities, safeguarding processes and curriculum were transparent online. Four years later the staff have more than exceeded our expectations! Both of the girls have developed into confident curious individuals ready to face new challenges and reach milestones with ease - all of which can be attributed to Footsteps. It will be a sad day for our family when "the nursery run" is no longer part of our daily routine. You won't be disappointed here!

I couldn't recommend this nursery more. My child is excited to attend and has developed some lovely relationships both with the other children and the team. It is a joy to pick him up and listen to all the things he has done in his day filled with learning, fun and imagination.

Footsteps treat our son like family. We always know when it's a nursery day as he is always excited to go. He comes home so happy and with lots of new words and skills. All the staff are so kind, caring and helpful - nothing is too much trouble.

I have nothing but good things to say about Footsteps Wilmslow. I viewed several nurseries before seeing Footsteps and for me, Footsteps was a cut above the rest. I especially loved the outdoor space, the bright and clean building and the staff. Most importantly, our daughter also loves it and every morning she runs happily inside with a big smile on her face. The staff are very invested in her development and well-being and I can't thank them enough for that.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough! My little boy started at age 9 months and they have put my mind at rest from day one and he has come on leaps and bounds since starting. He loves going and gets excited to see the staff every morning. They keep me updated throughout the day which is amazing! The staff are fab and always happy to help with any changes or issues that occur.

I couldn't recommend them highly enough and will be very, very sad to say goodbye.

A fantastic nursery which we would happily recommend to anyone in the area. The purpose-built building is well designed with plenty of lovely indoor and outdoor space for the children. The staff are wonderful and have really looked after our children and supported our whole family, and the manager and the team are very quick to respond to any questions we have. We are kept well informed through the app and love to see the pictures of what the children are up to each day. There are so many excellent activities including learning sign language and Spanish, trips out on nature walks and to the local care home, and really inventive play and sensory sessions. The menu appears well-balanced and varied. Overall we are very happy with Footsteps.

I have heard so many great things about this nursery and the way my Grandchild has come along these past few years has been exceptional, from singing songs, playing, dancing, and sharing, it's amazing. I would recommend Footsteps not just for how my Grandchild has come along but for the men and women who have been dedicated to their jobs and spent 1 on 1 time with him.

Cannot recommend this nursery enough. My nephew has attended this nursery for 2 years now and he has developed so many skills along the way. I love seeing the activities he gets to do and the nursery caters to every learning need. The staff are amazing with the children too.

Communication is excellent face-to-face or via their app.

We are so pleased we chose Footsteps Wilmslow for our little one. The quality of care is amazing and he is so happy here, often skipping in and hugging the lovely team that works there. Many aspects set it apart, namely how inclusive it is with BSL lessons, the support and information you receive about progress, and the kind, patient, and highly skilled staff. The main reason we chose Footsteps is that we wanted a home-from-home for our little one and Footsteps has certainly delivered this. We feel very lucky to be part of the Footsteps Family and highly recommend this nursery.

We cannot recommend footsteps enough. The building is stunning, purpose-built and so many considerations taken into account. The garden area is fantastic, with so much to do and ever-changing and developing. The care and compassion the staff show are incredible and you feel as though you are part of one big family. My children have had some health problems and again the staff have accommodated and cared for them, acting appropriately and diligently. The EYFS is followed and you are regularly updated via the app and at parent's evenings. The App the nursery uses is fantastic letting you upload info and pictures and is a good way to communicate with the staff. My children have come on so much and constantly amaze me with what they have learnt including greetings in a variety of languages and songs/phrases in sign language. My children have absolutely loved their time there, they have made some great friends and the whole family are so sad that our Footsteps journey has come to an end.

Our daughter has been at this nursery since she was 9 months old and she is so very happy there. The staff are great and she is coming on leaps and bounds in her development. The new building is absolutely lovely with so much for the children to do both inside and outside. Would highly recommend.

Extremely happy with the care provided, I need early morning starts which have been accommodated by the nursery. Both my children are happy and making progress there. Both are excited to go and have made friends and are confident and happy.

She only started Footsteps in September last year but after a week of attending this nursery there were no tears, there were instead big smiles, new friends (who are so kind- she's already had 4 party invites!) and she now asks to go all the time. I honestly never thought I would reach this point! The staff at Footsteps are so kind and caring and their empathy towards my daughter and I and our past experience was amazing. Footsteps have completely changed mine and my daughter's life. We couldn't be happier and we couldn't be more thankful. I only wish I had found them sooner.

Excellent nursery little one is very happy, magnificent new facilities! Little one loves the new toys especially the wooden kitchen, staff are friendly, the building is clean and very secure, management are prompt to answer any questions.

My daughter really enjoys her time at Footsteps. The new building is amazing and the staff in Owls room have been brilliant in helping the children settle there. I will be sad to see my daughter leave in September.

The nursery never feels of crowded, there are always plenty of staff to talk to and my children are more than happy to seek out the staff.

I would highly recommend these nurseries, I did look at other nurseries in the area but they seemed to be about "ticking boxes" rather than caring for children and getting them ready for their next big challenging -primary school.
