We couldn't be happier with our experience at Footsteps!
As this nursery has such a thorough settling in process, our daughter has settled in for her very first day thanks to her amazing room key person(s) and hasn't looked back since.


Her confidence has soared in each room, she looks forward to

seeing the staff each day and barely waves as she runs through the door.


Each day is filled with creative activities that she can't wait to tell me about when I pick her up. It feels like a true community, where children are encouraged, celebrated, and loved. Communication with parents is fantastic, and we always feel informed and involved.
Big thanks to six members of staff in particular.

Both my children have attended Footsteps and I could not recommend them enough. The service they give, the care they have and the skills all staff bring are amazing. My daughter who attends now could not love them more, she is so happy and even learning Spanish at age 3! What more could a parent ask
for?

Footsteps have looked after our 2 boys since 2019. We trust them completely and we are so happy with the care they have shown to our children. All of the staff are delightful and they often create and tailor activities to suit the interest of your children to support their learning. We would recommend
them to anyone and we are so sad to be leaving.

Absolutely thrilled for our son to have a place at this wonderful nursery. He settled in so quickly all due to the staff making such an effort and being so friendly and approachable. When I initially looked around I described it as 'the Mary Poppins of nurseries' and I totally stand by that now three
months later. I don't have anything but positive words to say about Footsteps.

We are really pleased with the care our daughter receives and she enjoys going. We like the regular updates and photos of the varied activities throughout the day. She enjoys two hot meals plus breakfast and snacks which she finds tasty. There was a recent price increase making it one of the highest
charging locally. So although the staff and facilities are great, I would not say it is value for money.

I could not fault this nursery at all. The staff are outstanding who always go above and beyond for us as parents but also the care they give to our little one. Seeing the activities they do every day on the app with photo's really is amazing when compared to other friends who don't have this access
at other nurseries around the local area.
Our little boy has come on so much since starting at Footsteps and we could not be happier that we chose this as his nursery to give him the best start possible.

Today's Stay and Play session in Owls was amazing. I enjoyed being able to have time with my son for him to show me around his room and what he enjoys to play with most. The activities selected to present were engaging for all and gave me plenty of simple ideas to replicate at home too. I also loved
seeing the outdoor space and having the time to chat with other parents that I don't always have the chance to at pick up. Not forgetting the food! It is easy to see why he always eats all his meals at nursery, both delicious and a varied menu. Well done Footsteps!

Footsteps is a fantastic early years setting.
Things that really make a difference:
1. Commitment to learning. Each activity has a well-considered set of learning objectives that all members of staff can articulate. What appears just to be 'messy play', is so much more.
2. The onboarding process
is second to none. My daughter had accompanied sessions, followed by unaccompanied sessions, ahead of her first full days. This helped her (and I!) to adjust.
3. The app is brilliant. Staff share lots of photos, detailed descriptions and the usual nappy change etc. This makes pick-up quick and keeps both parents (and other caregivers) well-informed. We eagerly await the diary updates!
4. Stay and play/charity event/photographer all in the last 8 weeks. Staff are consistently striving to do more.
5. Management and the room staff are quite simply, angels.
Thank you for making the nursery a home-from-home for our daughter. She heads in with delight in the morning and for that, we are so grateful.

My son has been attending Footsteps for over a year now. He absolutely loves it and all the staff we have met are lovely. We were let down by another nursery two weeks prior to my son starting and the managers were amazing trying to find dates at Footsteps that would work for us. It's very reassuring
to be able to go to work knowing my son is in such good hands. He has developed so much since starting and a big part of that is because of all the activities the staff do. We always see the same staff members and it appears they have been at Footsteps for a long time which is very reassuring. Thank you for taking such good care of my son.

We were lucky to go to a stay-and-play day with our daughter and spend some time in her classroom with teachers and carers. It was an absolutely brilliant morning. All the staff are incredibly caring and friendly, which is clearly shown by the friendly relationship she's created with them. Food was
fantastic, she ate a whole plate in front of us (something never done at home) and we saw her taking part in a number of activities which she does throughout the week. A fabulous place and we're very happy to send her there.

My son has been going to Footsteps for 5 months now. I was nervous at first sending my son to nursery but now I am the biggest advocate for nurseries, mainly footsteps. The staff are all amazing. The Bunnies team especially. There are zero negatives I can say about the place. My son's development since
starting is amazing to see. The staff feel like an extended part of the family. I cannot recommend the place enough.

My daughter is 4 years old and has just finished Footsteps - she will be starting school. She has been there since 9 months old. Footsteps was the best decision we ever made. We honestly believe we couldn't have chosen a better nursery if we had tried. The staff have nurtured and cared for my daughter
(and currently my son) outstandingly. They have met every single one of her needs, physically, emotionally, educationally and medically. My daughter will miss the staff so much, as will we as parents. Footsteps has not only been an amazing support for my children, but also for us as parents, and we will be forever grateful. We would highly recommend this nursery.

From the day our son started at Footsteps he has loved every moment. Whilst we're immensely proud of our son, we can't take all of the credit as the Manager and the team have been responsible for the majority of his development. The staff really have gone above and beyond. His main key worker has supported
us as a family in so many ways. She really helped our son transition into the role of "big brother" by explaining to him how things may be different at home when his little brother was born. I also couldn't be prouder of how our son has also learnt British Sign Language during his time at Footsteps. My youngest boy has also started at Footsteps and has the largest smile when I hand him over to his key worker in the morning. I get regular updates of how she's progressing and the challenges that she's set herself to get him crawling. She even offered to come in on her day off to meet with our health worker to discuss her observations and learn what she could do to assist.

My daughter attended for two years and we cannot fault this nursery! The staff are wonderful and go above and beyond. Activities are varied and educational. The setting is lovely with a great outside space. Our daughter has loved attending and never once complained about going. Highly recommend.

Knowing how amazing Footsteps is made it such an easy choice to recommend them when my best friend was moving to Wilmslow. I could not have wished for a more brilliant place for her little one to go to. He has so much fun and receives such wonderful care from all of the staff there. The activities,
learning, and opportunities for the children are simply outstanding. Not to mention the food looks fabulous, and he loves his food! Most importantly she knows that he is happy and safe in a loving and nurturing environment and that is so important.

Our daughter moved to Footsteps at around 18 months old and has had a fabulous time there. The girls are always so attentive and patient with her as it initially took her a while to settle in. The manager and her key worker (plus the other ladies) have been amazing and we have regular updates via the
informative app. We are moving out of the area and so our time at Footsteps is coming to an end, but we have been very happy with the nursery and all its staff. They always do such fabulous activities in the toddler room and get outside as much as possible. We would definitely recommend it to other families looking for a space.

My 3-year-old has attended Footsteps for the past year and we have been very impressed with the incredibly kind and nurturing culture of the nursery, and the responsiveness and professionalism of all of the staff, especially the Manager. Our daughter has had some challenging health issues requiring
surgery and ongoing hospital appointments and she has been very well supported by the Nursery. The staff all know her by name (even those working in different rooms) and she receives a warm welcome every morning and goes in happily. Her third birthday was celebrated with a little party and she was buzzing with happiness for days afterwards. The range of activities is brilliant and the outdoor space (including mud kitchen etc) is fantastic. She has become a more adventurous eater and enjoys the food too.

Both my children have been to Footsteps and have been excellently cared for and nurtured. Knowing that your child is happy and content is complete peace of mind. The staff are wonderful and genuine and we couldn't have asked for better for the children. Would highly recommend it!

We selected Footsteps because their facilities, safeguarding processes and curriculum were transparent online. Four years later the staff have more than exceeded our expectations! Both of the girls have developed into confident curious individuals ready to face new challenges and reach milestones with
ease - all of which can be attributed to Footsteps. It will be a sad day for our family when "the nursery run" is no longer part of our daily routine. You won't be disappointed here!

I hold a Level 4 qualification in Early Years, along with training in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), SENCo Level 3, and I am a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
