Partou Little Manor Day Nursery & Pre-school is an Ofsted 'Outstanding' (February 2020) setting providing exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of 5 in Sandymoor, Runcorn.

The nursery near Norton provides children with a fun, supportive learning environment where they can play in an exciting mini-woodland and adventure playground every day. Children at the nursery enjoy a wide range of learning activities from foreign languages and baking, to numeracy, ICT and literacy.

Little Manor’s long-serving team are experienced and hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has enhanced DBS checks and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The chef at Little Manor prepares the nursery’s fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day. The nursery’s seasonal menu is prepared with quality, locally sourced ingredients and can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

Meals and snacks are included in the nursery’s fees, as well as nappies, wipes and sun cream. 15 and 30 hours free childcare places are available for eligible families.

All the staff are really nice, they have all been brilliant with my son, helped him to settle into his new room and he has even made friends with the other children so they are helping him to socialise more, I'm really happy with them.

Fantastic nursery can’t recommend more highly! The staff always go above and beyond, are friendly and supportive and my little boy runs in excited to see them every time he goes! His speech and confidence are developing so quickly it’s a delight to see.

I have two children at Little Manor Day Nursery. Both are currently in the toddler room. They love nursery days and are always very happy and excited to attend. Staff are lovely and provide little updates at pick-up time which is always appreciated. There are always lots of activities and fun things
to do.
The nursery were recently very supportive when I requested a change in the children’s usual attendance due to my dad’s funeral. I hope they know how much this kind gesture meant to our family.

This little nursery is just the best.
I want to personally thank each and every member of the team at Little Manor for everything they do. I would 100% recommend them for future reference. They have worked super hard throughout the pandemic and have kept our children safe.
The pre-school teachers/helpers
have been a great help for my daughter who struggled with social interaction at the start of nursery due to the pandemic lockdown and have kept my anxiety at bay.
If you are considering this nursery for your child, go for it. You will not be disappointed!

My baby was at Little Manor for four months. She was at an age where she was crawling and always putting her hands in her mouth. Her socks were filthy every day and I raised this with the Deputy Manager. It was clear this was dirt from the floor and I was concerned about the risks to her health. I was
told the floor was cleaned regularly. After a few weeks, there had not been any improvement and I raised it with the Manager who was defensive and reticent to take my concerns and suggestions on board. She did eventually ask parents to stay in a small area of the room.
Before enrolling, I was told about a digital learning book that would give a record of her time there. I was told it would be updated at least two times weekly. We had three updates in the first week, but then just three updates in the next four months.
I was also concerned about the staff turnover. While my baby was there, several members of staff left the baby room. There was one occasion when I did not recognise a single adult who was looking after my baby.

My two boys go to Little Manor Day Nursery and I am so happy with the service they deliver!


The staff are just wonderful, they always have a big smile on their face. Knowing your children are surrounded by lovely and caring people makes dropping them off a lot easier.

We were looking for a place where our child would feel at home while away from us. At Little Manor the staff are really helpful and, although our little girl is really shy and was generally afraid of all adults, she got really close to one member of staff in particular in such a short period of time.
It was a great help when leaving our child that she wasn’t crying or upset and she is so happy to see this member of staff every morning. I’m really happy with her progress too as she seems to have started talking a lot more and now she is less afraid of strangers too. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone!

My little boy attended this nursery from 12 months old to 4 when he started school. The staff were always supportive and there was lots of things for little ones to enjoy and explore. I would recommend this nursery to anyone that needs childcare before school.

Excellent nursery, I wouldn't put my child anywhere else. Staff are always nice and my child enjoys going here. Very clean and tidy and I am very happy putting my child here as I was very worried about him starting a nursery.

Staff have been very conscientious. Nice to see the variety of activities. Management is really good. There is a menu for the lunch that is balanced, but this is adapted very often. The sleeping area is in the main room, so my little one wakes early sometimes, but these are the only drawbacks. The nursery

This nursery has been absolutely amazing for our eldest daughter, she has been there since September 2020 and has come on leaps and bounds and absolutely loves going. Her younger sister starts this month! The staff always have the children's best interests in mind and are so lovely, caring and easy
to talk to. They always go that extra mile to help you as a parent feel more comfortable about leaving your child and always inform you about their day. They also share lots of photographs of what the children are doing.

My husband and I are extremely happy with Little Manor Private Day Nursery. Our son has been there for just under two years now and he absolutely loves it! He is always excited to go every morning and is very happy when he arrives there. The Nursery Manager and her team are wonderful, they treat the
children as if they were their own and you can rest assured that your child will be well looked after and very happy. There are always fun activities planned on a daily basis, from making playdough to fun walks in the woods (which our son loves). If you are looking for a nursery, then look no further. Little Manor is the best! Thank you to the team!

I was so nervous sending my first child to nursery, leaving her with strangers and being away from her all day. But I could not be happier with Little Manor and definitely made the right decision. All the staff are so friendly, and I can see the lovely relationships that they have built with my daughter.
As she grew, Little Manor have helped her develop key skills through play. I love seeing all the pictures of all the fun and exciting things she has been doing and what skills she has developed in that activity. She is always so happy to go into nursery and tells me her best friends are her key workers there. The standard of care is outstanding and the nursery is clean and well kept. Everyone always shows such love and care for the children, passion for their job and kindness when I have any concerns. Staff have been a great support to me and our family over the years and I had no hesitation in sending my second child to Little Manor. Definitely recommend.

I am extremely happy with the service provided at the Little Manor Nursery. My daughter attends the nursery for 5 days a week. She enjoys it a lot and I am very pleased to see her progress in social, emotional and personal development. The nursery is opened from 0730 to 1800 hrs which is very helpful
with our careers. We think that the food provided is of good quality, and staff do their best to encourage the children to eat healthily.


Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone.

Little Manor is a brilliant nursery. The kindness of the staff, the attention to the EYFS standards for learning, the play opportunities and the quality of the food prepared cannot be faulted. Both of my children were/are made to feel very welcome and cared for. Their personal, social, creative and
