We have been so happy to see our girls excited to attend nursery every morning and return in the evening to chat about their fun-filled day. And to know that they have received such delicious, nutritious meals has been fantastic.
They have progressed so much during their time at House of Rompa, and this is due to the high-quality care they have received from the manager and her team.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful nursery to anyone.
The food prepared for him is exceptional and he often comes home after eating all or seconds.
The encouragement for his language from the staff is amazing and he comes home saying new words daily.
The activities and work the staff do is amazing and I love looking through the pictures in his file and on their social media.
I can't thank the staff enough for the love and care they give my son.
I look forward to our next son starting here later next year and I would recommend this nursery to all my friends and family.
Ever since our eldest began at House of Rompa we have been made to feel like part of an extended family. The care, support, and encouragement our son has received is so clear to see and explain his love of going to nursery. Not to mention the fantastic food he devours and the varied daily activities he can't wait to tell us about. As our youngest now begins the journey into her nursery life we have already been shown the same level of care and support. The House of Rompa team always goes above and beyond and we couldn't have wished for a more caring, professional, and passionate team to look after our children.
We have sent all 3 of our children to House of Rompa and cannot speak highly enough of the nursery. The dedication and care shown by the staff are exceptional, and each member of staff has such a fantastic bond with every child. It doesn't matter who answers the door in the morning, my children have always run in with a smile! The meals are lovely, so much so that my children often opt for seconds, and the education provided is well thought out to meet the needs of each individual to ensure that they are more than ready for school. I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone who is considering it as the children absolutely thrive there!
The facilities are fantastic, the learning activities are varied and appropriately pitched, and the range of resources is excellent.
The food offered is outstanding, both in terms of nutrition and variety. My children are both fussy eaters, and they ate everything at nursery, always!
The nursery is always pristinely clean, and communication between nursery and home is excellent. Overall, the nursery is great value for money.
As a parent, I feel quite emotional that today is the last time we will pick up a child from nursery after 6 years of drop-offs and pick-ups!
House of Rompa has been an extension of our family for the past two years. Having moved to the area, we know no one, the staff became our new 'safe space' where I felt at ease leaving my child every day. The love they have for the children is evident not only through daily routines and expectations but also through the rate at which the children develop. My daughter has thrived within this setting. She is thrilled to come home each night to show her latest makes/classwork/baking. We have been blessed to have had such a wonderful nursery experience.
Nothing brings me more joy than seeing them run through the door for a healthy breakfast.
She is always happy to walk in and you can tell the staff are well trained.
Thank you.
I can't wait to see how far she goes just like My 1st daughter did I can't thank the staff enough for helping my baby daughter to settle so quick and improving her routine at home leading to a happier home life aswell
My daughter is my second child to attend House of Rompa and in short, she loves it...as do we! After the craziness of 2020, I was expecting my daughter to find the transition to nursery very daunting having done very little in the way of socialisation and the experience of baby classes etc. I did not need to worry - after only a week she was reaching out for the team as they greeted us at the door she now happily walks into nursery herself and can't wait to get in there. This is only a small thing but such a huge testament to the feeling of family, fun and happiness that you get at House of Rompa. I can't recommend them enough.
Our children receive an excellent standard of care at House of Rompa Day Nursery. The staff are excellent; caring, warm, friendly and professional. They learn a huge amount in the time they are there and clearly have a lot of fun. The facilities are great, especially the home-cooked food which both my children love and regularly have seconds. We are very appreciative of everything they do and recommend the nursery to everyone.
Our little one started here during the pandemic when I returned to work. Due to the climate, she had not been socialised with any other children. All the staff were excellent, especially her key person in the baby room and she settled in immediately. Now, she runs in in the morning and has a great day every day she is there. Her development has been amazing whilst she has been attending the nursery and we could not be happier.
The staff at House of Rompa have been a sterling example of what commitment, care and love is about. Our baby has settled in beautifully and it feels like a family. We live in crazy times at the moment and the staff are the forgotten heroes of the pandemic. They teach amazingly, encourage your child and within their comfort zone have a good balance of play indoors and outdoors. They make learning fun. They respect your wishes as a parent and keep contact with you. The updates at the end of the day are extremely helpful. This shows they are committed and are observant and engaged with your child. Thank you to them for being proactive, determined and caring. The resources are wonderful and the food is very good, nice and fresh. Highly recommend to all.
An absolutely exceptional nursery. It is a joy to leave my son in the care of the House of Rompa Day Nursery staff. They are friendly and loving towards my son and nothing is ever too much trouble. They genuinely care about my son which is a wonderful thing. I have complete peace of mind that my son is in their care. They arrange activities every day and the food is home-made and delicious. We could not be happier with the nursery.
Our 4-year-old and 1-year-old were made to feel so welcome when they started at House of Rompa having moved from a different nursery 9-months ago and the staff at House of Rompa really helped them settle in and ensured a smooth transition. We have found it to be a fantastic nursery, the children run through the door in the morning smiling without looking back. The freshly cooked meals are a huge bonus, and we have complete confidence in the children having just the right care for them as individuals. We would recommend the House of Rompa to anyone.
Our little girl started at House of Rompa on 1 July and we couldn’t be happier, she has settled in so well and come on so much! The staff are wonderful: they’re so welcoming and every day greet us with open arms. The food is all freshly cooked and there’s a real emphasis on healthy eating which is a huge plus. The nursery is spotless and has a lovely outdoor space. We’re yet to use the babysitting service however this is something we’re definitely considering in the near future - our little girl knows the staff now and we trust them implicitly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend House of Rompa to friends (in fact we already have).
We moved our little boy to House of Rompa recently after he struggled to settle at another nursery. As soon as we arrived for our first visit, we could tell that the nursery felt so homely and that all the children there seemed so happy and cared for. Since he has started the staff could not have done more to put us at ease and we are now so glad that we moved him as he is so settled there and has come on so much. We are expecting another baby any time now and we are so grateful to the staff for helping him to settle and feel so comfortable and secure at nursery before everything changes at home. After a few weeks, we received a report to show where he was at and showed how well the staff know him already. The activities and toys are great, the staff are super friendly and enthusiastic and the meals that they provide are super varied and healthy. We couldn't be happier that we chose this nursery and can't recommend it enough. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
We are so happy that we chose House of Rompa for our little boy. From day one he settled in amazingly well and I truly think that is down to the incredible team there and how warm and welcoming they are. I felt at ease the first time I dropped him off for his settling in session. The nursery staff are caring and their enthusiasm and commitment to the children shines through. The meals served are fantastic and varied as are the activities and development plans put in place. We have noticed a change in our little boy's speech and gestures which is fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending House of Rompa to my friends and family. To me it is a home from home for your little ones, safe and nurturing whilst allowing them to have lots of fun.
She started when she was ten months old and I was worried it was too soon for her being in a nursery. Now she is thirteen months and she is very happy baby.
The staff is very friendly, professional and well trained. They take good care of her and work in the development of relevant areas such as language, self-confidence or reading.
There is very good communication between us and we are well informed of her daily activities. They offer a good range of healthy food and well-balanced meals.
The installations are well maintained, they are always clean and tidy. I highly recommend House of Rompa.
In the five months that my daughter has been attending, I have seen fundamental changes in development from her ever-expanding palate, her dexterity with key skills, to her confidence.
The staff are incredible and the nursery runs like a well oiled machine.
I rest easily knowing that my daughter is in the best possible hands whilst I’m at work. The safeguarding policies are second to none and the staff are adequately training in life supports.
Hats off to all of the staff.

Meet the Team (1)
I began my childcare career back in 2005, working in a nursery as a Qualified Early Years Educator. After working extremely hard, I was promoted to nursery manager and over the past 21 years, my passion and love for my job have grown too. I joined the House of Rompa in January 2024, and I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. As well as managing a nursery to the best of my abilities, the welfare and education of the children are paramount to me, ensuring that each one of them is given the best start in not just their education, but in their lives too. This was seen in our latest Ofsted report in January 2025, and I am so pleased to say that we are ‘OUTSTANDING!’ A huge achievement in my childcare career was being one of six finalists in the county to be nominated for Nursery Manager of the Year 2021. I have always said, it’s so heart-warming to know that the emphasis I place on ensuring the children are cared for, thrive in their environment, become confident individuals, learn to the best of their abilities, are taught through the best practice and by also making sure that each and every one of them is ready for their next adventure at school is recognised by others; this will always be imperative to me.
