House of Rompa Day Nursery

I began my childcare career back in 2005, working in a nursery as a Qualified Early Years Educator. After working extremely hard, I was promoted to nursery manager and over the past 21 years, my passion and love for my job have grown too. I joined the House of Rompa in January 2024, and I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. As well as managing a nursery to the best of my abilities, the welfare and education of the children are paramount to me, ensuring that each one of them is given the best start in not just their education, but in their lives too. This was seen in our latest Ofsted report in January 2025, and I am so pleased to say that we are ‘OUTSTANDING!’ A huge achievement in my childcare career was being one of six finalists in the county to be nominated for Nursery Manager of the Year 2021. I have always said, it’s so heart-warming to know that the emphasis I place on ensuring the children are cared for, thrive in their environment, become confident individuals, learn to the best of their abilities, are taught through the best practice and by also making sure that each and every one of them is ready for their next adventure at school is recognised by others; this will always be imperative to me. Read less
