S4YC @ Hooton Day Nursery is set in a converted Victorian farmhouse that provides an excellent interior and surroundings for children to learn and play together and independently.

The nursery aims to offer a home-from-home environment that stimulates learning potential and creates an atmosphere where every child feels secure, valued and confident.

A huge south-facing rear garden and ample parking make up the grounds, while the nursery's owners are very security conscious, with CCTV and a door entry system.

Children are cared for by experienced long-serving professionals, giving parents further peace of mind.

Excellent nursery, very friendly and welcoming and tailored and children's individual needs. The staff have encouraged social development in my son and supported him as he has progressed to the next room and developmental stage.

Hooton Childcare have been outstanding in their service. Detailed events for the children, plenty of activities (indoor and outdoor). Really helpful and supportive when needed. The staff in each age group have really excelled in helping the children's development. Any questions or problems then the
staff are on hand to assist.

Caring, happy nursery in a lovely setting which my little girl is thriving in. Both myself and my daughter have good relationships with her carers and the wider team. Her carers are mature and professional, the owners are visible and approachable, and overall they are very proactive in the care and
support they offer.

My little girl joined Hooton a year ago and absolutely loves it. The nursery has been making great improvements and it really shows throughout. So glad we chose this nursery after our last one closed. Would definitely recommend to others.

From the moment I first visited Hooton Childcare, I loved it! The friendly staff, homely feel and beautiful gardens made it a perfect choice for us and I have not been disappointed.
Both of my children have attended the nursery, preschool and my oldest now does after school club. It is a smaller nursery
than most with a low staff turn over which is great. My kids know everyone's names and are happy to run in in the morning.
The beautiful gardens were a big selling point for us and the fact that from a young age the kids spend a lot of time outside - exploring, playing and learning.
I would recommend Hooton to any parents as a caring and nurturing environment for your children.

Hooton is an excellent family run nursery. The staff are so friendly and very informative with regards to your child. The environment is like home from home and it makes your child feel safe and happy to play, learn new things and generally enjoy their time there.

I can't recommend Hooton Childcare highly enough. It has a really friendly, homely feel. All meals are home cooked and nappies are included in the price. They offer flexible care which is invaluable to us and isn't offered at many nurseries - you have to give the hours you want in advance but the day
and whether you want AM, PM or a whole day can change week by week. The children always seem to be really happy and there are planned activities which keep them engaged and having fun whilst learning. The staff are fantastic, they get to know each child individually and always appear to be genuinely pleased to see everyone. Many of the staff have worked there for years, so there is continuity of care and there is a really low staff turnover which I think speaks volumes. Well worth a visit at if you're looking for childcare for your little ones.

Hooton Childcare has been wonderful for our 2 boys, they love to go to nursery and have grown very fond of all the staff. In December the staff and the children put on a brilliant Christmas nativity, the effort and enthusiasm shone through. It was very heartwarming to watch children of just 3 and 4
singing and acting out the parts they had learnt.
The flexibility of Hooton has been a godsend as we work shifts.
We would recommend this nursery to all our friends and wouldn't place our boys anywhere else.
The managers are very visible about the nursery and the children are very fond of them.

I enrolled my daughter when she was 9months old. She's now 18months old and loves going!
It is very accommodating by offering a term only contract on a set 3days a week - something I found not a lot of nurseries are willing to do!
It is well presented with plenty of space and appears to have a wide
variety of learning and creative play toys/equipment for the children to enjoy. The outdoor space is lovely! I like to describe it as "homely" as that's the feeling I get each time I drop my daughter off. All the staff I have dealt with and who are involved in my daughter's care are welcoming, chatty, friendly and clearly have a passion for working with children, my daughter loves them and is always more than happy to be handed over each morning!
The meals provided are freshly home cooked on site and offer a balanced, varied menu.
Although the prices of this nursery are higher than others, I believe you get what you pay for and so far the love and care they provide my daughter with shows!
