Dunkys Day Nursery (Runcorn)

The most amazing nursery! My daughter has attended their since she was 10 months old until now as she leaves for Primary school. They are all wonderful people and take pride in caring for all the children. My daughter loves going to Nursery and loves all the staff

I would highly recommend Dunky Nursery to anyone and will be so sad to leave as will my daughter

My son attended this nursery and with him struggleing to settle alot with previous nursery settings he attended I was about hesitant at first but he took to this nursery straight away and enjoyed it so much and he grew so much the staff are amazing and always so helpful and accommodating it left me with no hesitation when it was my daughters turn for nursery I signed her straight up and she now attends and absolutely loves it I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

We couldn't be happier with the nursery and the care they have given our daughter since she was just 9 months old. She has absolutely thrived during her time there and has always been so happy and excited to go in.

The staff are incredibly welcoming, caring and friendly, and it's clear that they take a genuine interest in each child as an individual. They have supported our daughter's development brilliantly and it's lovely to see how much she has grown in confidence since starting.

They have also been extremely understanding and flexible with us as parents who work shifts, which has made such a difference and taken away a lot of the stress that can come with childcare.

We feel completely confident leaving our daughter in their care and know she is safe, happy and well looked after. We're so grateful to the whole team for everything they do - we would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring and supportive environment for their child.

My daughter has been attending nursery since she was 2 years old. As a mother it is a very daunting thing to leave your child in the care of other people however, from the very start Dunkys made my daughter and myself very at ease. They have provided a loving and caring setting for all the children and it is such a lovely nursery. My daughter has come on amazingly well since being in nursery and it's all down to the staff and how much effort they put in to each child. I will be so sad for my daughter to leave as she starts primary school this year. If I am ever lucky enough to have more children in the future then I wouldn't think twice about putting them into Dunkys. My son has attended since he was 13 months old and he has thrived in every room. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and I have always felt so comfortable leaving him in their safe hands. They are always approachable and communicate efficiently daily if needs be. He has learned so much whilst he has been here including writing and the start of phonic sounds. He also eats a varied diet whilst there and tries new things. They go out of their way to accommodate when they can. My little boy loves a cuddle and he has created some lovely relationships with the staff throughout the years. He asks to go even on his days off! He is about to leave and we are all genuinely devastated that he has to go to primary school! I would highly highly recommend this nursery and the staff here! They have done amazing making it an unreal environment for the children aswell as the staff. Recently the garden has been renovated and it looks incredible for the children! Massive space for playing!

We have had both our children here over the past two years, one of which has just graduated. It's a brilliant nursery and all the staff are great. They listen to us and work with us, which is what you need when leaving your children in someone else's care. Our youngest is autistic and they look after him so well, and have learnt his needs despite him not being able to vocalise his needs or wants. They both always come out with a big smile on their faces and we couldn't appreciate them more. The new garden area is fantastic, lots of space and a nice safe area especially with our youngest, it's a totally safe place where he can do as he pleases even if he doesn't want to be in a group activity, whilst still being able to be watched. So so happy and couldn't recommend them anymore.

My daughter has been in Dunky's she was 9 months old & she is now moving onto her next adventure to big school. From the second we walked into Dunky's we just knew this is exactly where she was going to thrive. Every member of staff are the most caring and loving people who had such a positive impact on my daughters learning & life throughout the past 4 years. They support through every milestone, from weaning to potty training. The meals here are second to none & their new garden area is absolutely amazing for the children. Myself & my daughter are going to massively miss everyone at Dunky's. The outstanding ofsted report is a testament to them all.

I'm a first time mum and was so nervous sending my baby to nursery however the manager & staff are so unbelievably genuine around me & my baby that I'm confident and comfortable with them helping me bring him up while I work. I did visit other nurseries prior to Dunkys and as soon as I stepped into the Runcorn site I was blown away, the children's happiness, the cleanliness, snails, something everywhere you looked, the kids get there teeth brushed, checked frequently when napping, monitored when they have allergies, hydration schedules, not to mention the staff, the manager straight away had my baby smiling on arrival I LOVE how personable she is with the kids & an actual bunny pen in one of the rooms I was sold. Lastly the staff - they are so detailed with how my babies been and how they try to make his time there better as he's still a little sad when mum leaves, they keep me updated on the app which helps me relax. Amazing nursery. My baby loves the staff too unreal x

Dunkys was the only nursery I went to look around when looking at a setting for my son and I was certain this is where he would go from the get go. The staff were all so friendly at my show around and my son loved it from the moment we first went. They have all welcomed him with open arms and care for him like he is their own. All of the children look to have a wonderful time there and you can tell the staff enjoy every second of their jobs too which makes all the difference! The food options are amazing, my son doesn't eat much of it but is always offered something else which has made me feel so at ease. Overall just such a lovely setting and I would recommend to anybody who needs childcare as it has truly made the whole return to work process so much easier for me, even as an anxious mum. Thank you dunkys & keep doing what you're all doing!

During our recent settling in sessions for my 10 month old daughter, the whole team have been so welcoming, taking the time to get to know her and discussing her care in detail with me which has put me at ease when leaving my little one in nursery. Thank you for making it such a positive experience for us.

The whole team at Dunky's (especially the tots room) have been amazing when helping my little boy settle into nursery life. They are so kind and caring and extremely patient. They have helped him to settle into nursery life incredibly well! Because of their caring and consistent approach, my little boy no longer cries going in and happily transfers to his key worker. They eased our anxiety by regular updates on the app, by phone calls and in person- nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They are amazing at going with the children's interest to help make every day interesting and exciting! Couldn't recommend more!

The women within this nursery made me feel so at ease with the transition of putting our little girl into nursery! Admits all the tears on both sides, our angel is now thriving and getting so good at being around people due to being in nursery and she's just loving it! Couldn't recommend the nursery enough!x

Our Son has been going to Dunkys for around 4 months now and he absolutely loves it, we had a little wobble after a month of so when he started to get seperation anxiety as we dropped him off but this didn't last long as he absolutely loves all the staff there, they are very attentive to him and quickly learnt his name and his personality which helped us feel a lot better about leaving him in their care

The updates we get about him really show the amount of love and care they give to each child and the chef cooks for them like royalty, some of the meals they get make us jealous!

Since going to nursery he has came on a long way, constantly hitting his milestones and it feels like he has learnt something new every week which is a testament to the staff

My baby boy has just finished his first month at Dunky's and I could not be happier with our choice of nursery for him. From the minute we viewed it we knew it was the one, as all of the staff made such a good impression.

They have all made us feel so comfortable about the transition into leaving our boy in nursery. Treating him as their own and providing us with constant updates and information. Even on his settling in days we could stay for as long or little as we felt comfortable.

Even now, he has only been there for a month and he is already so comfortable. I love how the staff know his personality already and are just so attentive to him and what he needs.

I couldn't recommend the nursery enough an am so grateful that he has a place he loves so much.

My little girl recently started at Dunky's and she is absolutely loving it. She hasn't left my side for the past 2.5 years, so I was really anxious about how she would settle especially as she often becomes upset when being left with family, never mind at nursery.

The staff at Dunky's go above and beyond to make sure every child feels comfortable and happy. They take the time to get to know each child individually. What toys they like, what activities they enjoy and focus on getting them excited for their day rather than upset about being away from their parents.

In just the month she's been attending, I've already seen such a positive change in her. She's eating more (and even trying new foods!) and seems so much more confident in herself. The nursery has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and I have complete trust that my baby girl is being cared for to the highest standard.

I couldn't recommend this nursery enough, it truly is the best.

My son loves going to Dunky's nursery and is always very excited when he sees any member of staff. They are all so enthusiastic and caring with the children and keep parents well informed of their childs developments and activities during the day. The children's Day is always packed with something fun, from sensory play, arts and crafts to outdoor exploring, it's fantastic! My other children attended different nurseries and Dunky's is by far the best, I'm so glad I chose to send my son here. Thankyou so much to all at Dunky's!

Couldn't recommend this nursery anymore, the staff are absolutely amazing and show so much care and love to the children, still being so new to the nursery I was so nervous however all the staff have gone above and beyond to settle both my nerves and make my son feel so welcome he absolutely loves going and made such great relationships with staff and new friends I'm so glad we made the decision to come here

Staff are fantastic they keep you updated with how you're child is getting on through the day including what they have eaten etc. They are supportive and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this nursery
