Kids Planet Warrington is rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in Dec 2018 and is also Udeskole accredited. It is based in a converted 19th century chapel only two minutes' walk from Warrington town centre.

One of the many benefits of being close to the town centre is that the team are able to take children out on frequent trips into town, to the library, the museum or to the park which is located just next to the nursery. All children have their development supported with age specific learning and are able to discover and explore through play.

The whole service approach is based upon preserving the magic of childhood, at the same time as adhering to the key areas of the EYFS. Safeguarding the children in the nursery is one of their utmost priorities and the nursery offers state of the art security systems. Complete with CCTV in every room, intercom systems are standard in all rooms ensuring that the children’s safety is paramount at all times.

My child has been attending kids planet for almost a year now, he loves going to nursery and playing with his friends, all the staff are fantastic, and always there if you need any help or just to talk to someone.

Outstanding nursery. Staff are extremely helpful and enthusiastic towards my child's learning, they work extremely hard. They help her progress. Not only do they help the children, but also the parents; they have an understanding towards both adult and child.

My daughter has been with kids planet warrington since babies room, now set to leave pre school and start her journey in primary school. We could not have chosen a better nursery for her to attend. how much kids planet warrington spend so much time outdoors on trips and out in the local community and each staff member has such a bond with each child. Kids planet Warrington has been a second home for my child and I will forever be grateful for the care and love she has received here.

Kids planet warrington is by far the best nursery I have ever used in the 19 years of using nurseries. The staff are brilliant in every way possible and my daughter loves going.
I would give this nursery 10/10 in every category possible.

Kids planet is such an amazing nursery. My little boy has come on so much with his speech, social skills and just overall behaviour since starting in October 2024, he's built amazing relationships with the staff and always looks forward to going! I was so scared he wouldn't settle when leaving him but
this soon changed really quick and now just runs in. I love that the nursery take the children outdoors like trips to the park and into the town centre and when indoors they always do great activities like water play and mark making. Lastly I love that I can keep up to date with what my little one is doing throughout the day through the app and love getting sent pictures of him having a great time! Can't thank this nursery enough:)

Kids Planet Warrington, Legh Street is amazing! All of the staff are so passionate about their roles and making the children's experiences of nursery the best that they can be. They put so much effort into creating different activities to maximise the children's learning and creativity. Our little girl
has come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery in January 2024. As parents we were so anxious with her starting nursery and being away from us but the staff instantly put our minds at rest with how comforting they are - honestly it is like a home from home for her. I used to frantically check the app to make sure she was settled/okay but now I rarely check it as I just know she is in the best hands!

Kids Planet Nursery has been an incredible place for our son since he joined at 1.5 years old. The staff's dedication and genuine care for the children made all the difference in his early development. The nurturing atmosphere helped him thrive, building his confidence and social skills. My son is coming up to 2 years old, he has attended this nursery since he was 6 months old and I am so glad I chose here over anywhere else. He absolutely adores the staff and it's really clear how fond of him they are, he is always excited to go and I believe what he has learnt at nursery has gone
a long way with his development. They are always changing the activities, moving rooms around and thinking of new things to engage the children and stimulate them. They are really good with contact, and sharing information and in my experience are really supportive when things are difficult. I honestly couldn't fault them at all, just a genuinely lovely staff team.

The staff at Kids Planet Warrington seem to actually care for each individual child and their needs. They are all so friendly and easy to talk to. The nursery is always very clean and tidy and has a good amount of activities to keep the children happy and not overwhelmed. The little trips they occasionally
take the children out on too are always lovely and you know your child is safe in their care.
Entrance to the nursery is very secure and safe and passwords are always asked when it's not the usual parent collecting the child.

My daughter has been coming here for 3 years now and she's loved every room she's been in and every teacher she's had. Currently in Preschool, she's made strong friendships and is always talking about her teachers; and I can see why. They are always so eager to see all the kids and constantly engage
with them from the minute we drop off to when we pick her up, whether they're having some downtime or involved in new and exciting activities.

The Warrington Kids Planet on Leigh Street is an amazing centre, would highly recommend this, the staff have made us feel so welcome and their experience in looking after the children can be seen when we attended sports day and graduation ceremony. We will miss them so much, they all have left an everlasting

I have watched my child learn, grow, and form trusting relationships (with their teachers) and firm friendships with their peers (that we can hope will last for a long time to come) during their time at Kids Planet Warrington. First of all can I please say a massive thank you to all of the staff at Kids Planet. Each and every one of you has been so warm and welcoming. To not only my daughter but to me and my partner. She has come on leaps and bounds since attending and she's made some lovely friends. She has taken a keen
interest in playing sports out of pre-school. That's down to her sports coach who is such a pleasant man. She will be leaving soon to go to big girl school. We will be sad to say goodbye to you all but from the bottom of our hearts a big thank you. I highly recommend Kids Planet to any future parents looking for a safe, loving and nurturing environment for their little ones.

Both my son and daughter have attended this nursery and I have nothing but high praise and gratitude for all of the staff that work here. My children always went in every day with a smile on their faces and some days it was hard for me to get them to come home. I am so grateful for everything that the

For the safety of children, I would like to make parents aware of a recent serious incident which happened to my son, aged 3.
During a morning session and staff not following appropriate safeguarding policy, my son was able to run down the full length of the drive and in to the busy main road (Legh
Street), before a staff member noticed he was missing and chased after him.
This was only his fourth session at the nursery.
After reviewing the cctv, the entire preschool class were running freely around the car park, with staff not paying attention to the drive or side street entrances.
The children were not on reins or harnesses which was an assurance of the nursery.
Thankfully my son is ok; however, it could have been so much worse and has caused our family great anxiety.
I would hate for this to happen to another family and would like to make all parents aware of the incident which took place on 1st February 2024.

The nursery staff are always so welcoming, my little lad loves going to nursery, and I can relax in the knowledge he is well cared for and is being kept busy with fun activities and adventures. The setting is very educational, but very homely, which I love.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2019

I started my journey here at Kids Planet Warrington in December 2019 when I became the Pre-School teacher, before becoming Nursery Manager in June 2024. In that time, I have been lucky enough to complete my Level 3 Forest School Leader training and have helped the setting to achieve its Udeskole accreditation.


I am a big advocate for outdoor learning and believe the benefits are fantastic for the children and their holistic well-being.


I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in English Language with QTS and previously worked in a primary school for ten years.
