Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Padgate

The setting itself is so well organised and has so many things for the children to do and play with. The communication between nursery staff and myself is very good and they always inform me of my child’s progress and what he has achieved, even down to what he’s had for lunch that day and it’s always a healthy balanced meal.

My child absolutely loves coming to Welcome Nurseries @ Padgate. She has amazing relationships with staff and has made some amazing relationships with other children. I truly feel the nursery is setting my little girl up for school and life.

The staff are lovely and my child seems to have a good relationship with the key workers. I do wish that the nursery would send a bit more information about my child to me through the app or email though. When my child first started, we were told that there would be updates via the app every 2 weeks minimum but after almost a full year I've still not received a single update other than the handover at the door! My child seems happy at the nursery and she has flourished since starting there. Her development has come on leaps and bounds!

My son has attended for 15 months and he absolutely loves it. The main thing he loves about nursery are the staff themselves. On our way home each day he tells me the names of all the staff he’s seen that day. Nursery have gone above and beyond to make sure my little boy is included in everything they do. For example at a jubilee celebration when there was a buffet that he couldn’t eat due to his allergies - I thought they might have a separate sandwich for him but rather than making him feel different in a negative way the cook made him a whole box of safe options and made him feel extra loved instead! My son has multiple allergies and there’s never been a single slip up where he’s been served something he shouldn’t have or managed to get another child’s food as they manage this so well. He’s learnt so much from nursery and comes home singing a new song most weeks that they’ve been singing. I’m fortunate that my son is only almost 2, so he has a few more years to spend here!

My daughter has been going from 9 months old, the baby room was very good with lots of sensory play and adapting to her when she started to walk. As she's moved up through the nursery they do lots of play learning and also help with any concerns that I have had and supported me. I feel she has always been well looked after at nursery as if they were one of their own. I'm sad that this is an end of an era but so happy I chose this nursery, I've watched my little one blossom into a very confident clever little girl and would highly recommend all the staff and the nursery.

I currently have both my children attending Welcome Nurseries @ Padgate, my eldest is 4yrs and has attended since she was 9 months old. She absolutely loves it, and I wouldn’t of chosen anywhere else for my youngest who has recently started there. Staff are warm, friendly, knowledgable and brilliant with the children. I found that this really helped them to settle in and to enjoy going back each day. The environment is spacious and I love the large outdoor area, my eldest just loves the space available to play in. Food is healthy and the cook is amazing when providing a variety of snacks and meals which my children always eat. Management team are great and very approachable, I know if I have a question or query about anything they will be happy to help straight away.

My eldest son had attended this nursery since September 2020 until July 2022 and he has absolutely loved every second of it. Staff have been so encouraging with his development. He was behind in quite a few areas, especially his speech. Since he has attended he has come on by miles. Staff are amazing and very approachable both for my son but also general day by day updates. Even provided home pack activities for my son when he was off due to an injury ensuring that he didn't miss out on anything, which my son was so happy about. Couldn't have picked a better nursery to take care of my child. Which is why I have now since started sending my youngest child as I have 100% confidence in their abilities to further the children's development. I 100% will be recommending this nursery to my friends and family.

We absolutely love this nursery. The staff are very polite and welcoming. My daughter has learnt so much over the past few months since starting nursery. I always feel confident she is being well looked after when I drop her off and the staff always have time to talk about her day when I collect her. The nursery puts on different events to involve the parents and their children. This is greatly appreciated and so lovely to be able to see her interacting with the other adults and children in the setting. Thank you!

Our little girls absolutely love going to nursery and gets excited to see the staff. She always has an amazing time and comes home so happy! Staff are supportive and helpful. We love Birch Grove and wouldn't take our little girl anywhere else.

My daughter has been here for nearly three years and loves going, she comes home each time with something new to show and tell me. The staff are amazing, very caring and give each child the time they need. The food is different every day and always balanced. I recommend this nursery very highly and my daughter will be very sad to leave in September.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery which is the greatest testament as to the standard and quality of Birch Grove Day Nursery Ltd. She is thriving in every way and I honestly believe that we wouldn’t be able to achieve that, or at least certainly not to the same level, without the input of the nursery. Thanks to all of the staff and most notably her key worker for shaping her into the happy little character that she is.

My daughter has been going to Birch Grove Day Nursery Ltd since she was eight months old, she loves going and learns so much while she is there. The staff are all amazing and really help her to learn new things everyday that she goes.

Amazing nursery. Both my boys go there, one being disabled and the nursery go above and beyond to accommodate. They both love going into nursery and run in every morning. I’ll be really sad when my eldest leaves for school this year.

A great friendly place, staff are fantastic, the place is lovely and tidy and my daughter loves it there. A great atmosphere and great place. They have great toys for all the children to play with and always have fun activities for the children to take part in as well.

Amazing team, my little girl absolutely loves going to nursery, they are all so helpful and kind. They always go the extra mile to help anybody and especially with everything going on, they have been amazing throughout.

My son has been at nursery since he was 8 months old. He absolutely loves to be in there. Staff are amazing, knowledgeable, kind, funny and always happy to help. I have never come across any that didn't have time for me. They have genuine interest if you need to talk to them. My son learned so much and teachers make learning so fun. He has grown up into a confident, smart and kind little boy who is ready for reception in September. We both will miss the lovely staff and atmosphere from Birch Grove but I can truly and honestly say that they have made him ready for this big next chapter of his life.

Birch Grove Day Nursery has always been a great place for my daughter. She started when she was 10 months old and the staff were amazing, kind, friendly and gave lots of support. My daughter loves her friends and staff at nursery and is now in the preschool group loving all the activities. Love the nursery and appreciate all the care and attention the staff give each child.

The best nursery in Warrington with the best staff! Extremely happy with them! Lots of space indoors and outdoors! Food is really tasty and healthy!

Wow! Such a welcoming environment for both the children and the parents. Both my boys settled quickly and enjoy going to the setting. All staff are friendly, helpful and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I am confident that my boys are in excellent care when I leave them. I would recommend this setting to anyone.
