My eldest son attended Apples and Pears from 5 months old right up to starting school (now attends the banana club and loves that too!) and now our second son is in baby room. Not only has standard of care for both been exceptional but I’m also very impressed by the activities and development opportunities
the nursery offers. Our youngest is always so excited to go to nursery and squeals on his way in every morning! The use of the tapestry website to keep us up to date on what he’s been up to is also great.

My little girl started at Apples and Pears in September last year.
I was a little apprehensive as my little girl had been at a nursery closer to our home for 18 months prior to this.
I attended for a visit and was delighted with what I saw.
5 months in and neither myself or my little girl could be
happier.
The staff are understanding, caring and kind. They genuinely do care, not only about the child but also about the parents.
My daughter loves Apples and Pears and it's wonderful to see just how much on the Tapestry site.
She is settled and happy and learning so much.
It's a pleasure to see her development.

My son is always upset to leave he loves it so much. He seems very involved in activities and is coming on leaps and bounds with his learning. I also think the outside space is invaluable.

I would highly recommend this nursery. They have made the transition from maternity leave to leaving our baby daughter with them so easy. They are welcoming, understanding and show great enthusiasm at looking after our daughter. Anything I have asked they have done regarding her care. My daughter has
really developed since joining them in sandy strawberries. She will be staying for a few more years that’s for sure.

Apples and Pears have been a part of our lives for 5 years and we couldn't have asked for a more caring, friendly and fun environment for both our children to learn and grow. All the staff have been great and the management does an excellent job and we're always well informed of events.

Apples and Pears is a fabulous nursery, my little boy loves it. The staff are friendly and very good at their jobs and the environment (on a farm) is peaceful and homely. There is a lot of outside space and the rooms are well equipped.

Apples & Pears is an excellent nursery. Both of my daughters attend and they thoroughly enjoy their time there. Set in beautiful countryside with access to lots of outdoor play. The staff are so lovely and caring, my daughters have developed a strong bond with many from
Sandy Strawberries room right
the way through to Banana Club where my eldest attends. The nursery helps to teach the children to be polite, well-mannered individuals giving them lots of confidence ready to start school. I can't recommend them enough. I am so happy with the care that my daughters receive from the nursery.

We couldn't be happier with Apples and Pears for our little boy. In each different room, we have seen the dedication of the staff to make an excellent environment for all the children, but also ensuring that as a parent we feel happy and have opportunities to participate in the nursery with parents
forums. I love receiving the notifications of the activities he's participated in using the Tapestry app and feel that the outdoor and indoor environments are really exciting and engaging. We will very much be looking forward to letting our second child join in the fun at Apples and Pears in the future.

Apples and Pears is a fantastic nursery, the staff and location are perfect. We looked at many nurseries in our area and this was top of the list, my child loves to come here and play, interact and learn new things. I would recommend this very highly.

Apples & Pears are an excellent nursery that I cannot recommend highly enough. As a full time working mother it gives such peace of mind knowing the care, attention and educational start my children are getting on a daily basis. The range of activities is exceptional and I cannot speak highly enough
about all the staff and management alike.
One of my daughters has a food allergy and this has been catered for from day 1 without any issues and lovely alternatives cooked freshly alongside all the other lovely freshly cooked food so she has never felt left out.

Amazing setting, amazing staff, just an amazing nursery.


My daughter is quite a sensitive little girl and is usually quite anxious about going to nursery, but once she is there she thoroughly enjoys.

Our son has attended now for 14 months. The development of him has been helped by the nursery staff. They really understand his individual needs and he now doesn't want to leave at the end of the day, which says it all. Following previous feedback, the nursery acted upon my comments which prove they
not only listen but act immediately as they strive to be first class in all aspects. Our other two children attended another nursery before moving to Smallwood so I can make a first-hand comparison and have to say Apples & Pears is first class.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Apples & Pears Day Nursery, all the members of the team are superb and the level of care and attention that each child receives is exceptional.


My little boy loves his time at nursery and I can go to work with confidence that he is happy and is being well cared

for.


The updates that are provided through the Tapestry system enables parents to gain a greater understanding of the personal development of their child and also provides the opportunity to comment and update with activities/progress made at home.

My daughter started at Apples and Pears in September. I was very anxious and upset, however, the staff were brilliant! They made me feel so much better as they kept posting photos on the app. My daughter loves the staff in sandy strawberries, they are fantastic. My daughter does different activities
throughout the week.

Professionalism and caring personalities across all staff.
Safe and educational environment - both indoors and outdoors.
Wonderful sensory garden and farm based setting.
Love the close to nature/sub- rural location.
Lots of encouragement and activities for parents participation.
Child is nurtured
positively and appropriately in early years foundation stages and in important life events/milestones.
Some indoor areas may need updating.
Maybe a shelter in the outdoor space would benefit and allow more outdoor play even when it's raining.

We have had our little one with the nursery since 6 months. Right from the word go they were amazing handling his poor health and various medication and special diet needs. The communication and links with parents are second to none with newsletter, play bags, home boards, parents forum and stay and
play sessions where we can play and watch them in situ which many nurseries would be too uncomfortable to do. With regular updates via Tapestry and parents evenings and reports I feel fully informed and updated as well as informal drop ins whenever I feel the need and daily room reports. They have not only helped develop my child with the usual speech and learning etc but also nurtured and fostered his enthusiasm and character which is a joy to see. All the staff are fully professional at all times yet approachable. As a mum I feel 100% confident and happy knowing my child is receiving such an outstanding level of care.

Fab nursery with excellent staff who all have a great rapport with both the children and each other. My daughter (2.5) has been going for almost 2 years and absolutely loves it! The staff are quick to address any concerns you have as a parent and are happy to accommodate any requests too. They were
the only nursery in the area that seemed happy to accommodate a breastfed baby (without expecting them to formula feed when attending!)
Can't recommend highly enough.

A truly excellent nursery with strong management and talented staff. Our little girl was 4 months old when she started and she's now 4 - she has loved every stage in the various rooms. She has always been very happy, with a good mix of outside and inside play.
