Busy Bees Thurstaston

The girls at Busy Bees at Irby are fantastic. My daughter runs into nursery every day with a massive smile on her face. The office are always on hand to help with any enquiries. I get an amazing handover at the end of the day from her team leader who tells me all the lovely activities they have done that day! Can’t recommend enough!

We are extremely happy with Busy Bees at Irby. Our little girl joined here when she was two and all the staff, especially in the Tweenies Room, made her feel really welcome and helped her to happily settle in. My daughter loves going to nursery and always tells us she has had a fun day. Everyone we have dealt with has been friendly and helpful and our youngest will be joining the baby room in a few weeks, which we have no concerns about.

My daughter loves going to nursery, she has been going for two days a week for about six months and she has come on leaps and bounds in that time. The staff all go out of their way to make the children's days as much fun as possible and we look forward to seeing what she has been up to at the end of every day. I can't wait to see how much more she learns and develops in the coming months!

My daughter has been attending Daisy & Jake in Thurstaston since she was 7 months old, she is now 3 yrars old and has just started in their pre-school room. Staff are all lovely, my daughter has always been happy going into nursery and has lots of fun each day. Nursery rooms are modern and clean and the outside area is nice too. Fresh home-cooked meals made on-site each day and there is always a varied menu. Online app is used to communicate with parents and share observations. The nursery feels very safe during the Covid pandemic

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff are wonderful and have been key to her development. She has made lots of little friends and enjoyed some fantastic-sounding food. It is a happy, friendly place and I would recommend it to any parents.

I have been extremely happy with the staff members on-site; their compliance with the covid regulations and the dedication to the children is amazing. I have seen improvement in my niece's social interactions and in her speech and it is all thanks to the work the nursery practitioners give. It is an outstanding nursery with great staff.

Excellent staff, always very friendly and inviting, both my children have thrived in their care. During the coronavirus pandemic, they have shown excellent safeguarding procedures and kept our children and others safe.

Cannot praise the team enough. I have two children who attend nursery 3 days a week and they absolutely love it. Not only are they getting time to socialise and play with their friends (even more important than ever during this crazy time) but they are also learning more than I could imagine - watching my children both blossom under their care has been so wonderful. Both my children have food allergies and one is currently undergoing other tests for more severe allergies and this has never been an issue - nothing is ever too much. They are looked after as though they were at home. We cannot thank the team enough for the love and care they give every day.

My son has been here since he was 2 years of age, he’s due to leave July this year for school. He really enjoys attending here and always runs in. His keyworkers and all the team have really worked hard with him to bring him and prepare him for school. The food is fresh and really good quality! What I like most about the food is they accommodate all food preferences without hesitation. They also celebrate all the foodie days I.E. Chinese New Year, Pancake day, Christmas dinner, etc. It's a little more expensive than the other nursery’s around it, however, this place offers more outdoor learning with having the “Forest School” in the wooded area just down the street! I will be using this nursery again in the future, and I always recommend this place. Thank you for helping my boy get the confidence and best start in life!

My sons key worker is absolutely the best nursery nurse ever. I used to be a nursery nurse and yet still never come across anyone like her. She is so engaging and knows every little detail about him. He's a very shy boy but she has had a huge impact on this. He hugs her every day (unheard of) and he genuinely adores her. All of the staff at Irby are fantastic and I would highly recommend Daisy & Jake.

The food is of a high standard and the nursery fit in around toilet training and afternoon sleeps just going along with what you do at home.

Overall really really pleased with this nursery.

Boys participate in lots of activities.

The team at Busy Bees have been amazing since my daughter has started. They have supported her and work well with her to develop her skills and knowledge on chosen topics. The nursery teachers are lovely with my daughter and we have got great communication. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

I have two little boys in nursery and have nothing but praise for all of the staff. Both of my boys have attended Daisy & Jake since they were very young and they really like it and both mum and dad are happy.
