Busy Bees Thurstaston

Our daughter started in the baby room and quickly settled in. We felt very secure in the fact she was happy and enjoying nursery. As she was a lockdown baby, her interactions had been somewhat limited. When moving to bombos room, she very quickly grew strong attachments to two members of staff in particular, which we loved. One member of staff has since moved to the preschool room, but always makes the effort to see our daughter and chats with us still. Our daughter's key worker now is lovely, she relays the day and keeps us updated with what our daughter has been up to and always has a smile. She makes references to our other children, which is lovely. We're very happy with the progress she's making and can't thank the girls enough! It's a tough job and we appreciate them greatly.

One of the staff members at Thurstaston, is always so warm and it feels like she loves being around the children. I love her handover, as she always tells you what my child has been doing that day and funny stories, which gives me a lovely picture of how his day has gone.

The staff are all excellent with our daughter. She is so happy at the nursery everyone is so friendly, calm & patient. Our daughter has really progressed recently with the words and actions that have been taught at nursery. We are thrilled she is there.

My son currently attends Busy Bees in Thurstaston, and my daughter before him. I love the warm and inviting atmosphere, the professionalism and the genuine love for the children. Both the staff, who look after him, are always friendly, professional and caring and I feel safe in the knowledge he is getting the best care. He is developing all the time! Thanks girls for all you do!

I've had two of my boys go to this nursery, both since they turned one. My eldest was in all the tooms and since left, my second is two and is in tweenies. They both love nursery and I've never had a day where they didn't want to go. The rooms are large and full of fun and safe things for them to play with. They get a large range of foods, things they've never tried with me. I get regular updates on the app and love seeing what they've been up to. Staff are lovely and really kind. They have male staff which I think is great to see for my boys to know that a care setting is for everyone.

Staff have been looking after my daughter since she was in the baby room, so it was lovely for her to have the continuity as a lockdown baby to have someone in the toddler room who had been with her from the start. I love how staff say different things about my child to any other child being collected (as well as what the children have been doing that day) which shows that she is really interested in each child as an individual. My daughter is so excited to go into nursery and the updates that they put on the app are frequent and really give me a flavour of the activities that my daughter does there, from art and painting, to cooking, to sensory play. The staff are really responsive to your wishes as a parent, for example, reducing nap times, and I can imagine that any issue could be approached collaboratively with them. The food is excellent at the nursery, so much so that it reassures me my daughter is eating well even when she won’t eat at home!

My niece started here a couple of months ago and I’m impressed with how she settled in so quickly. She is so happy in the mornings to see her key worker which makes handovers so easy. We get lovely feedback throughout the day and at the end of the day at collection time!

My daughter started in August 2021 at the age of six months and she’s settled in so well! She absolutely loves going to Busy Bees to see the staff! I have no worries when she’s there as I know she’s in safe hands, lovely staff!

We would like to give a special mention to the certain member of staff in the baby room and the staff in the toddler room. Our daughter has recently changed rooms and the care and attention she has been given in both rooms is outstanding. Thank you girls for looking after her for us.

We absolutely love Busy Bees Thurstaston! The whole team are so welcoming and really bends over backwards to make you feel welcomed and every need met for your child. We could not be happier with our daughter's key worker, she is so friendly and really encourages our daughter to come out of her shell. Any request I have asked if she could work on with my daughter has not only been met but succeeded in a superior time frame. The outdoor space is one of the largest I've seen of all the childcare provisions we have visited. I can't wait for our youngest daughter to join Busy Bees next year too!

We have been very impressed with Thurstaston Busy Bees who have taken so much care to help settle our daughter into nursery. She loves all the staff with special thanks to her key-worker, who has spent time really getting to know our daughter and has helped her to develop in so many ways! Our daughter loves the food served there, it is so reassuring to know that every day she is happily eating a healthy meal. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to others.

My son started nursery for the first time, in the baby room this month and had immediately settled in amazingly. He's so happy when he gets to nursery in the mornings and immediately wants a cuddle from his key person. He's super happy when I pick him up and has obviously really enjoyed his day there. Has stopped me from worrying at all.

I would love to show appreciation to the lovely staff from the tweenie room. They always have a kind word and lots of patience for a little boy who needs it! They brighton up both our nursery experiences. They both deserve a duvet day!

Really lovely nursery, both the staff and the nursery are brilliant! All the staff are great so helpful and happy all the time so welcoming when dropping off or picking up. Great location, so close to local parks!

We have not had any problems with the nursery over the four years we have used them and would recommend.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery at Busy Bees in Thurstaston. She goes in happily every day, and comes out with a big smile on her face! She is so comfortable with all the staff there, so it’s really nice not having to worry about who’s in each day. Big thanks to all the staff for your hard work, you do so well to keep them all happy and entertained each day!

This nursery is absolutely amazing and has made my return to work so much easier! All the staff are so, so lovely and I get updates of my little boy throughout the day on my app! He’s so happy at nursery doing different activities, going out in the garden and has come on so much since being there. I feel at ease on the days he’s there when I’m at work as I know he’s more than well looked after, not a bad word to say!

We have always been so happy with the care, communication and support given by all staff at this nursery. Our little boy has always talked fondly of his key workers in all rooms and we feel confident that he is being looked after, learning and having fun during his time there.

My little boy joined Busy Bees at Irby late last year and after a slightly tricky transition, he now absolutely loves the places and strolls into his room confidently. Over the weeks in which he was settling in, two members of staff were fantastic with both him and me and did all that they could to put our mind at ease and sure enough, they were right, tears in the morning were soon replaced with waves goodbye. Since then, we have seen huge leaps in his independence levels and his communication skills, brought on by the time they have spent time getting to know him and with the activities they do with the children. I couldn't rate them both and the wider team that supports the baby room highly enough.

Our eldest left Busy Bees at Irby last year to go to school, having joined when he was nearly three as we’d moved house. I was worried about him changing nursery at this age but he was settled in after his first day and absolutely loved it! He also came on so well developmentally and I give the Tweenies room at least 80% credit for his potty training! Our one year old now attends the baby room and he’s so happy there. He gives two members of the staff the biggest cuddles when he arrives and when I pick him up at the end of the day he’s always happily playing! He seems to have formed a really nice bond with the staff and we regularly notice little things he’s learnt which we’ve definitely not taught him! The staff have been great throughout all the challenges with Covid-19, so a massive thanks for all they’ve done!
