General Day Nursery

Brilliant place. My child attends holiday club there now and also went from a baby, he loves going.

Amazing nursery. They have gone above and beyond for my little boy, my little boy has additional needs and General Day Nursery have done everything they possibly can to support him and include him in everything they do. They provide exceptional care and all the staff are lovely and will go out of their way to help you. I would recommend General Day Nursery again and again, they truly are fantastic!

My two children both attended from 9 months until we moved house in December and they loved it, have developed well and were supported every step of the way by nursery. The staff communicate well and genuinely care for the children in their care. 5*

I can’t thank the nursery enough for what they have done for my kids, especially helping me through the long hard process of getting my boys ASD diagnosis, which I couldn’t have done without them.

The staff at General Day Nursery are 2nd to none. There is nothing they won't do to help and strengthen a child's development. My 4-year-old daughter absolutely loves going and has done since she was 6 months old. At Christmas, the staff went out of their way to arrange a lovely evening of holding the Christmas fayre followed by the children, parents and staff getting dressed into their PJ's to read Christmas stories and sing-song while enjoying hot chocolate.

Staff are very welcoming and all the children are happy.

Excellent nursery with friendly and reliable staff. They have been fantastic with my children, nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend!

My child has been attending General Day Nursery now for over a year. I couldn't imagine ever sending her anywhere else. She is so happy and bonded with all the staff and has made such good friends there. The staff are amazing at what they do and I feel very comforted knowing my daughter is so well looked after when I have to leave her to go to work etc. General Day was recommended to me and now I recommend it to others. My son attended this nursery from 9 months old and with the excellent care, love and nurturing from the fantastic team, my son has become a clever, happy and sociable little boy. Can not thank you all enough for what you did.

My daughter attended General Day Nursery in 2008 from being 6 months old right up until reception (now 11) and now my son attends. Lovely staff, very kind and caring. Never had a tear from either of them going in a morning, so it just shows how much they love the place.

Both my daughters have been to the nursery, one of which is still there. I can’t thank the girls at the nursery enough for their contribution in making my girls the amazing people they are. The nursery work so hard and really have a bond with my daughter. She loves going to nursery which is a credit to the hard work and efforts put in by all! My little boy was so shy when he started General Day Nursery in June last year. Now he is more confident and loves meeting new friends. The staff are patient, kind and fun and go above and beyond every day. My children are excited to go to into nursery in a morning.

Brilliant staff who took my boy from not wanting to go in without kicking and screaming to going on his own. Absolutely brilliant, my son wouldn’t be the same without everyone here.

The staff went above and beyond to help my son and I settle when he initially started attending. My son is now extremely happy and content when there and often gets upset when his day is over and has to leave.

The staff do an amazing job and I feel I can go to work and leave him in their safe hands.

Due to being premature, my grandson had lots of special needs these were managed by the staff to enhance his experiences and give his mother the confidence to enable him to achieve all his abilities. It wasn’t easy sometimes to maintain a normal day as part of his problem was respiratory but staff were well trained and quickly picked up the signs early enough for appropriate action to be taken. He left the nursery environment a confident well mannered and open to learning which has been good for his entrance to big school. Thank you all at General Day Nursery.

This is an excellent nursery. The staff have been brilliant with our son and his development and social skill have come on in leaps and bounds since he started almost 2 years ago, He is happy content and settled and we feel he is in the best possible care whilst he is there. Communication is first class and the nursery is very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this nursery, the girls are amazing and do a fantastic job. My son has the best people teaching him and getting him ready for school, he has come on so well since the day he went to nursery at nine months old. I very much doubt he would be the clever little boy without these amazing ladies to teach and guide him. Thank you so much for all you do.
