General Day Nursery

This nursery is second to none. A little hidden gem that feels like a second family for our child. They are professional, work very hard and they actually care about the kids. I can’t recommend this nursery enough. My other children went to different nurseries prior to finding this one, and there is a huge difference in every way. I shall continue to use the holiday club long after leaving the nursery, as I feel our daughter has made friends for life here. Thank you, General Day. You are the best start to any child’s life.

I couldn't ask for a better nursery for my daughter. She started when she was one and has flourished ever since. Staff are always honest, trustworthy and willing to help. My daughter also has a milk allergy, and the nursery has been amazing in offering her alternative meals and snacks.

The atmosphere created by the staff at General Day Nursery is amazing! My daughter, who used to be incredibly shy, is excited to go in every day and is definitely no longer shy! Staff take the children on lots of days out, and the communication between staff and parents is excellent. I would highly recommend this nursery as a safe, happy place to send your children.

My grandson loves it here, absolutely bob-on. He's been going here since he was 2 years old and never had a problem with any of the staff, even when he may have been a problem for them. Keep up the good work girls.

Since my little one started last April (2023) he has come on so much. He loves going to school and we can really tell a difference in his speech and vocabulary when he has been off for holidays. He has started to eat all kinds of different foods, not just the beige ones. I really have no issues at all with any part of the nursery. I just wish he could stay there forever.

Best nursery, with trusted, lovely and caring staff. Children are very well looked after my little boy loves it, would highly recommend this nursery, never need to worry about leaving your baby as they are in good hands.

Now my son begins to attend this nursery, and I am so happy to know he is in good hands.

My son absolutely loves coming to the holiday club here. He has attended since last summer. Cannot fault the staff all friendly and approachable. My child is quite fussy and has always eaten all the meals here too.

My daughter absolutely loves General Day Nursery and the staff. She is always happy to go there and full of smiles when we pick her up. The teachers are caring and my daughter loves them all. It's her second year there and we are very happy we chose this nursery. She's learned and grown so much in the past year, she loves her friends and looks forward to going back every day.

I will use the nursery again but this time for the holiday club as he is now in school because I know I can trust the staff with my precious child.

My son enjoyed every day he attended and as parents, we cannot thank you enough.

Always stay and plays happening too which has helped my little boy feel more comfortable in the environment knowing that myself and his siblings are also welcome at nursery, he knows it is a safe space and has a great bond with the staff.

Nursery is always so good with my daughter. She has learned and developed so well during her time here, and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. She sees them as a family, and they treat her like she is too.

Excellent nursery. Both my children have attended the nursery and the staff go above and beyond to support the children and make them feel welcome. My youngest son who recently left had an issue with eating and a phobia of a lot of foods. The nursery staff did everything they possibly could to encourage and support him in trying new foods and the chef would make him something different if it was a dinner or snack he had issues with. I would highly recommend the nursery.

If you want a nursery with staff that care for your children and only want the best for them, then this is the nursery for you.

The nursery is fantastic. Staff are second to none and cannot do enough for you and the overall welcoming atmosphere received is just lovely. The activities they engage in with the children are brilliant and my daughter is so happy. Even though she’s only been with them a short period of time, I can see how much she has benefited in that time and how much she has learnt. Lovely nursery with happy staff and happy children.
